02/04/2024: I came here with friends for a birthday celebration. We were blown away with the high caliber of both food and service. We chose the 5 course tasting menu, which delivered traditional regional dishes executed tastefully. The portions were substantial and every dish we received was absolutely delicious. The wait staff were incredibly kind and made the experience memorable. I am eager to return for another amazing meal.

06/04/2024: Palazzo Murat was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. They upgraded us upon arrival to a room overlooking the water and hills of Positano and gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick off our stay. The concierge was so helpful and anytime we had a question or needed anything they helped us immediately. They helped us set up our sunset boat cruise and gave us information that helped us hike the path of gods. The breakfast was incredible it was such a lovely way to start our day each day. We were able to enjoy a day by the pool which had a beautiful view and was very relaxing. We enjoyed apritivo at La petit Murat on a couple of occasions. We also ate dinner at their Al Palazzo restaurant our last night and had a nice relaxing evening the food and service was also wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect as it gives you quick walking access to the water/ferries and access to the shops and other restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay a 5 star experience!

05/04/2024: THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH with literally THE BEST STAFF. Perfect Service, perfect food, perfect view, everything’s 100/10, couldn’t be better. I only hesitated to review because I am selfish and would want the place for myself 😂 My very best wishes to everyone of the valet, the shuttle service, the management, both of restaurants, the beach and pool service, the cleaning ladies and of course the front desk. You are the best!! Can’t wait to come back soon

07/04/2024: Incredible experience and atmosphere in Positano. Greeted by the most friendliest staff whom gave the best recommendations. My friend and I were treated like family. The cook let me try his caldo. We were able to fuel up for our day trip in the area. I would come back to this location in the future. Lovely time with beautiful people.

05/04/2024: Came here excited by all the hype, but wow, was I let down. Right off the bat, things felt off with the seating chaos. Then, the owner/chef? Super hostile. Noticed he’s got a habit of hitting back at 1-star reviews with some pretty snarky replies online. That attitude was in full swing when we were there, especially when telling us we had to order more than just coffee. Honestly, the coffee was passable, and not nearly enough to make up for the vibe. Kinda felt like the friendly place I read about was a totally different spot.

13/01/2024: Our favorite restaurant in Positano. Such a cute place, my wife loved the outdoor seating with the beautiful flowers. The menu has a nice variety of items. The sommelier’s drink suggestions were perfect. We had eggplant Parmesan, dentice, chateaubriand and a few other things but would try anything here!

25/10/2023: Giovanni was excellent. He recommended a fantastic bottle of wine. His recommendation on dinner was also fantastic. I would highly recommend you come here for dinner. I went with my wife and it was very romantic. Giovanni was extremely attentive to the finest detail. It was a small gesture, but very kind one that he knew exactly when I was finished with my wine and waited until then to hand me the check. Thank you Giovanni for an excellent experience.

30/10/2023: Fantastic food, whether fish or meat, pasta or dessert. What Raffaella and Erika conjure up in their kitchen is amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we even went there twice within a week. And thank you to the entire team for being there just for us on “your last evening”! Mille Grazie!

29/10/2023: I have been travelling Italy north to south (including Sardinia) for the past month. This is a 3 star restaurant compared to the high end restaurants I have been to. In positano, you will either pay for the view or the food or rarely both. This restaurant does not provide a view. The ambience inside the restaurant is nice but very basic. This brings me to critique the food here. We (a couple) had a pasta each, a main dish, and a dessert. When plates are priced at 23 to 35 euros a plate, I expect a wow factor or originality to the plate. This is your very basic standard "nonna" restaurant. The taste is good but no Wow. My seabass plate was a bit underwhelming. The tiramisu that I had was same as the one I got for 3 euros the day before. Here is my recommendation to you, this place is quite a drive up through very tight roads (as everywhere else), so I wouldn't displace myself specifically to go eat at this restaurant.

13/11/2023: Our hosts recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. They were happy to accommodate us despite not having a reservation and arriving late into Positano. Family owned with some of the most stunning views. Every window is like a postcard. The menu had a good variety and we loved our meal. Fresh, tasty food, great wine, and all for a very fair price!

15/01/2024: At first glance (given the location) you don't perceive the "greatness" of this restaurant. The experience is 5 stars. As for the room, the service it is impeccable, the staff is young, knowledgeable and incredibly kind. Moving on to the kitchen, the pleasure begins with the welcome entrée, explodes with the first courses, persists with the second courses and amazes with the desserts. Special thanks to chef Giovanni De Vivo (whom we had the pleasure of meeting personally) for the culinary experience. The "spaghettone" deserves a special mention. The restaurant that Positano deserves to have.

05/04/2024: A classy spot for aperitivo. Some nice wines on offer but with the cheapest coming in at €9 a glass we didn’t stay too long, but still enjoyed it nonetheless.

27/03/2024: Wine tasting room with many options and sizes a red, white and pink wines. They have outside tables and a big one inside with stools (shared). They have a few dishes to eat something, with local cheese and ham. Considering this is Positano, the prices are not bad and the food was tasty. Not a bad option for an alternative meal or to taste local wines and cheeses.

28/03/2024: It doesn't get more Italian than this bar. Perfect paninis and perfect coffees.

19/03/2024: A small little bar with drinks, inside and outside seating, some snack food and a nice atmosphere full of locals. A good option if you’re travelling off season and there is nothing else open 😂

20/02/2024: We were halfway finished with our hike and decided to stop here for lunch. The kitchen was about to close soon but they let us order the appetisers and pasta and everything was super delicious. The view is to die for and service was extremely professional and attentive. Highly recommended and hope to be back soon!
