01/04/2024: For those who want a lunch by the sea it is the ideal place. The staff is very kind, smiling and welcoming. You feel pampered from arrival until the last course. To start, not to be missed is the seafood appetizer with seafood mojito, one of their delicacies. The first courses are all good and you are truly spoiled for choice, the pacchero with tomato, capers and tuna is certainly very original and tasty. Make sure you leave room for dessert, they have some desserts in jars that are delicious.

27/03/2024: da Nello is the place to go for delicious, authentic Cilento Coastal cuisine in Santa Maria di Castellabate. We ate here three times during our stay and every dish we tried was terrific! Some of the standouts were starters like the stuffed zucchini flowers (Fori di zucchini ripieni), artichoke and octopus salad (polio e carciofi all'salata), primi including the spaghetti con le vongole (clams),paccheri with swordfish and eggplant (pesce spade e melanzane) and any of the grilled or fried fish for the mains. Nello makes everything fresh-- he even bakes the bread himself. Service is attentive and Christina will guide you through the menu even if you don't speak Italian.

01/04/2024: We spent Easter Monday lunch in this location. Really well looked after, the food was of excellent quality, served at the right time, without very long waits, our little ones had a lot of fun thanks to the large outdoor space which allowed them not to be closed in the room. The staff were really courteous. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be back

03/01/2024: We spent New Year's Eve 2024 in this beautiful estate in Santa Maria di Castellabate, we had heard about it but had never been. Beautiful place, well heated covered terrace with few seats, excellent environment, very polite and non-intrusive owners, very high quality food and top music selection. 08/10/2023: Il nome “Il Cuore de Cilento“ rispecchia in tutto la locazione, posto a dir poco stupendo e curato nei più piccoli dettagli, siamo stati nella camera „Le Ginestre“ con terrazzo sulla natura e piscina rigorosamente aperta anche in ottobre. Dopo aver trascorso la notte e vi avviate verso la colazione allora li vi fermerete un momento ad ammirare diverse specialità cilentane praticamente tutto fatto in casa dalla proprietaria. Il giardino e piscina è a dir poco stupendo e curato. Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti stupendi con il calore del Sud.

Efficient service, good dishes, especially abundant, price below expectations.... I absolutely recommend it, we will return

16/10/2023: I have known the place and the staff for some time, but from the first time I remember kindness and professionalism. I often come to eat pizza and sandwiches which are fabulous, recently I celebrated my son's 1st birthday here and I was struck by their humility: Mrs Francesca rolled up her sleeves and stayed the whole time with me to set up the room, look at the child, without having asked anything even though I had gone outside opening hours. The menu recommended by them was truly a surprise, with seafood delicacies and the pizza excellent as always. And finally they didn't miss the delicious pizza with Nutella which must be tried at least once, it's the bomb! I highly recommend coming to this place if you want to feel at home, pampered and loved in every sense!

02/04/2024: To say that everything is extremely perfect is an understatement. The quality of the food is supreme, the products are always and only of primary choice and are cooked by expertly combining tradition with experimentation, whilst fully respecting the raw materials used. The environment is familiar but never banal and the icing on the cake is the skill, courtesy and availability of the owner and chef, Costabile! I highly recommend it to everyone ❤️

28/01/2024: A very intimate venue, furnished with taste and creativity was the venue for our umpteenth culinary adventure. The passion and love for this land and for the products it generously gives are the distinctive character of the chef's offering. There are many slow food products that can be found on the beautiful menu. We started with seafood meatballs for my children, a seafood salad for my partner and for me a truly delicate dish that combined two oysters together with a fantastic chickpea soup from Cicerale. My partner and I continued with an excellent dish of linguine and lobster. Simply divine, perfect in every aspect starting with the cooking of pasta and lobster. My children devoured some linguine with squid ink and mullet bottarga. While my partner and my little one indulged in dessert, I finished with an excellent amberjack casserole with vegetables. The dinner was excellently supported by a 2016 Perella, pure Fiano from De Conciliis.

20/02/2024: Excellent experience. The only restaurant open on Sunday and it was full... but we managed to sit down despite having booked just half an hour before arrival. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent fish starters. Recommended for spending a Sunday out of town and eating fish..

29/01/2024: I wouldn't go back. Until the appetizer... and the bottled wine you can do. The first courses... too much oil in the dishes, the scialatielli seem to be in broth... like watered down white pasta and they don't bind. The view and the logistics are very nice, the room is well decorated. I haven't tried second courses and desserts, but I'll leave the pleasure to others.

17/09/2023: Torniamo sempre in questo ottimo ristorante di pesce anche per godere dello splendido mare di Santa Maria di Castellabate. Il ristorante non delude mai: se potete, prendete lo scialatiello alla Leucosia. Poi tra antipasti, secondi di pesce fresco (soprattutto la frittura) è un tripudio di sapori e colori. Alla prossima. Mi sa che devo comprare casa a Santa Maria così ci vediamo tutti i giorni. A presto

30/09/2023: Motivato dalla voglia di mangiare cucina tipica cilentana rifuggendo dai ristoranti costieri, ho voluto recarmi su a Castellabate incuriosito dalle recensioni di questo bellissimo ristorante. Innanzitutto il ristorante è ampio, arredato bene e ha una terrazza che offre una vista su Castellabate e il mare. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario Costantino, che con la sua simpatia e affabilità ci ha intrattenuto dandoci consigli su cosa mangiare. Abbiamo optato per le polpette di melanzane eccellenti e per il tris di verdure ugualmente eccezionali. Ci ha consigliato poi i primi con la pasta fresca fatta dalla moglie e abbiamo scelto i fusilli al ragù cilentano e i tonnarelli alici e pomodoro, entrambi buonissimi. Per secondo abbiamo provato la salsiccia arrosto con le patate mantagliate, il tutto innaffiato con dell'ottimo vino aglianico. Il conto giustissimo in relazione alla qualità e quantità del cibo offerto. Ho apprezzato molto il menù, sia la grafica che i messaggi veicolati: avvisi ai genitori di bambini ma soprattutto la volontà ferma e precisa di servire la vera cucina cilentana, bandendo tutte le contaminazioni (come si può leggere dalla foto al menù) Concludendo, consiglio fortemente a chi è appassionato di tradizione culinaria, di vivere questa bellissima esperienza. Attenzione alle indicazioni del navigatore perché molto spesso indica una strada sterrata da non percorrere in nessun modo.

30/09/2023: Motivated by the desire to eat typical Cilentan cuisine, avoiding coastal restaurants, I wanted to go up to Castellabate intrigued by the reviews of this beautiful restaurant. First of all, the restaurant is large, well furnished and has a terrace that offers a view of Castellabate and the sea. We were welcomed by the owner Costantino, who entertained us with his friendliness and affability, giving us advice on what to eat. We opted for the excellent aubergine meatballs and the equally exceptional trio of vegetables. He then recommended the first courses with fresh pasta made by his wife and we chose the fusilli with Cilento ragù and the tonnarelli with anchovies and tomatoes, both delicious. For the second course we tried the roasted sausage with mantagliate potatoes, all washed down with some excellent Aglianico wine. The bill was very fair in relation to the quality and quantity of the food offered. I really appreciated the menu, both the graphics and the messages conveyed: warnings to parents of children but above all the firm and precise desire to serve true Cilento cuisine, banishing all contamination (as can be read from the photo on the menu) In conclusion, I strongly recommend anyone who is passionate about culinary tradition to live this wonderful experience. Pay attention to the navigator's instructions because very often it indicates a dirt road that should not be traveled on under any circumstances.

26/08/2023: Ci siamo fermati per caso però torneremo ben volentieri. Siamo rimasti molto contenti dell'accoglienza, dal servizio, dalla qualità del cibo servito e da come è impiantato pure . Siamo stati contenti di poter tenere con noi anche in nostro amato amico a quattro zampe . Non abbiamo fatto foto proprio per goderci in tutto per tutto il tutto . Consigliamo vivamente di andarci , vi sentirete come a casa vostra ma con un tocco in più. Noi non vediamo l'ora di tornare .

23/08/2023: Ristorante fuori tipologia rispetto alla zona. Dopo aver bevuto il nostro cocktail ci siamo accomodati a tavola, sempre all'esterno ordinando alici e burro. Bella presentazione, buoni gli ingredienti anche se le alici per me un tantino salate. Buonissima anche l'entrata che non ricordo più il nome con mozzarella di bufala, prosciutto crudo e cipolle caramellate. Anche qui bellla presentazione e sapori dove nessuno copre l'altro. La tartare di gambero rosso....una delizia. Per non parlare del tonno, neanche qui ricordo più il nome, ma buonissimo, si sceglie in bocca per non parlare dei gamberi in gabbia e la calamarata rustica. Il tutto accompagnato da un gradevole falanghina. Bravi!! Allo chef Sergio e ai camerieri.
