02/04/2026: A fish restaurant in Cetara with truly excellent cuisine. We were looking forward to a little gem with very good value for money, and the menu initially promised just that. What we weren't prepared for was the size of the dishes. The "Catch of the Day" is delicious, but it's more of an appetizer. Since you really need to order at least two courses to feel full, the prices aren't exactly cheap. Had we been informed about this "tapas-like" size, we wouldn't have had a problem with it. As it was, we were a bit disappointed. The Spaghetti Colatura di Alici, typical of the region—spaghetti with anchovy sauce—is delicious. Tip: In Italy, you dip the sauces with the fresh bread that's also served. The service was somewhat unclear. We were immediately offered wines without a wine list. We only received the list upon request. Prices for a bottle start at around 35 euros.

22/11/2025: We found this little jewel on 11/21/25 while exploring the Amalfi coast. A delightful little restaurant with personal attention, all sorts of great fish and the specialty of the area, anchovies done in several different ways. We all loved the food and the experience. Seek it out. Parking is difficult but well worth it.
15/11/2025: My first time in Cetara, I wandered around and while I was trying to figure out whether I could rely on the restaurant for lunch or opt for a grocery store given my dietary issues, I met Nadia. She listened to me and then did something unexpected and something I'd never seen before: she took me by the arm and led me into the kitchen. I explained my allergies and concerns. The kitchen was spotless, and the cook gave me all the reassurance I needed (the last time I trusted her, I ended up in the hospital). I ate lunch with all the peace of mind I have at home. Nadia pampered us, and I was able to celebrate my birthday without any worries. 😍 And I'll add that both the wine and the oil are absolutely exceptional and straight from Cilento, "the land of the Mediterranean diet." I recommend choosing it, especially since it all makes up for the expense.

13/05/2026: Despite the long wait—and they seem to know how to enjoy an evening without rushing—this dinner was a true gastronomic pleasure. Every dish was impeccably delicious, the wine was simply amazing, and the sea view made the atmosphere truly special. A place where time seems to slow down so you can truly experience the flavors of Italy ✨🌊🍷

04/02/2026: Unfortunately, tempted by the positive reviews, we went here for lunch, which was a waste of time and money. It's expensive, and the pasta was very salty. The plate of pasta and seafood looked impressive, but there were practically no shells. The service was nice, but they were constantly arguing among themselves...
07/01/2026: The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the space was very cramped and the service was problematic (wrong dishes, very long waits). The appetizers were acceptable (quite expensive). The biggest problems were with the first courses: they weren't adequate, not so much because of the ingredients, but because of the preparation (the pasta was too salty and undercooked).

27/12/2025: A must-try for anyone passing through the Amalfi Coast and wanting to try the famous anchovy sauce.
The spaghetti with anchovy sauce is unsurpassed, and the ziti with tuna genovese is sublime.
The main courses are excellent.
Kudos to Luigi, the owner, and all the staff.
13/11/2025: April 2025. Beautiful, welcoming place and excellent food: anchovy colatura, seafood scialatielli, mixed fried fish, and lemon delizia. The owner even picked us up in Maiori after the Amalfi buses didn't stop three times because they were too full...

Ristorante La Torretta

19/05/2026: This restaurant is located in a beachfront resort. You can reach it on foot (though the climb up and down isn't for everyone) or via a free shuttle service that picks you up (by appointment) at the Madonnina di Cetara pier. A short two-minute boat ride will take you to the Torretta beach (from which the restaurant gets its name). The atmosphere is pleasant (it's a beachfront restaurant after all), and the service is friendly and fast. The food is excellent, although I prefer the spaghetti with colatura sauce my way. Fresh fish, and the fried anchovies and calamari are dry and crispy. The prices are reasonable because you're eating fish and practically have your feet in the sand. I don't know what it's like in late summer, but when I went (mid-May), three steps down led to a platform where the kids could play happily. The location will be even more charming in the evening. The only downside is the pigeons roaming around, but since you're outdoors, there's not much you can do about it. Recommended, worth trying at least once.

02/05/2026: AVOID: A terrible experience. It was enough to look at the recent reviews, except for the fact that the restaurant was practically empty (which is why we sat here).
The waiter who took our order and served us was rude, something I haven't experienced anywhere else on the Amalfi Coast.
Poor quality food... my anchovy sauce had no flavor whatsoever, and finally, the price was extremely high compared to other restaurants in the area...
NB: ask for the menu, otherwise they set the prices "as they please."
03/04/2026: Relaxing dishes plated like a five star luxury.. price in line with the norm. We will return. The chef will have changed because everything was great.

25/05/2025: Este fue, por mucho, nuestro lugar favorito durante su estancia en Cetara! Todo era delicioso y lugar en cada momento y comimos aquí 4 veces. El propietario y los servidores eran muy agradables y eficientes. Si estás en Cetara, seguro que no te puedes perder.
20/05/2025: La comida era preciosa! Productos de precio justo y buena calidad. Sin embargo, el servicio decepcionó la noche. La camarera era desagradable y grosera. Golpeó nuestra comida sobre la mesa, nos ignoró durante la mayor parte de la noche. Parecía que no nos quería allí. Poner un amortiguador en la comida, que es una pena ya que la comida y el restaurante era delicioso.

23/06/2024: Panorama bellissimo,ma pochissima scelta,la qualità dei piatti è veramente scarsa,un vero peccato perché potrebbe essere un posto fantastico,ma la cucina non accompagna la bellezza del luogo
