18/07/2026: Basically, a steak house for its excellent selection of meats from around the world. Years ago, I would have given the food a thumbs up for its Genovese steak, which was exceptional, but now it's just okay. The dessert is good. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is nice but too crowded. Prices are fair, and the lack of a "cover charge" is much appreciated (I hope it wasn't just an oversight), which is a proper approach. It's just a shame I'm not a huge fan of grilled meat, but that's my problem 🤷🏼‍♂️.

13/07/2026: At first glance, the place appears very nice and welcoming, but the experience was extremely disappointing. As soon as we sat down, we were literally swarmed by four different waiters in just a few minutes trying to order. Their professionalism was compromised when we told them we didn't want wine: the first waitress looked annoyed, and shortly thereafter, the wine waiter made a decidedly inappropriate joke ("non-alcoholic evening?"). Furthermore, there's a clear and annoying preference for regulars, whose dishes were delivered in a fast-track manner, while we were left waiting. The menu stated "first course of the day for €12," but our bill was €18 simply because it was pappardelle with porcini mushrooms. This price change wasn't disclosed when we ordered. The wait for the meat was extremely long, and the result was terrible. We ordered a Black Angus entrecôte (€90 per kg), which arrived cold and even burned in some parts. Even the lava stone underneath was completely cold. For sides, we had hard, cold fries and decidedly unpleasant-tasting zucchini. Receiving such treatment and eating cold meat at those prices leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Considering they don't give these things away for free, the quality and hospitality should be on a whole new level. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

20/06/2026: Borgo50 is a true gem in Bacoli. The setting is truly beautiful and meticulously crafted, perfect for those seeking a private, intimate location with a charming atmosphere. The menu is excellent, and the dishes are excellent, but it's worth noting: if you're looking for a run-of-the-mill traditional restaurant, this isn't the place for you. The culinary offerings here are extremely refined, the result of careful study and creativity, far removed from classic clichés. Consequently, the bill also reflects the quality of the ingredients and the exclusivity of the experience: the price is decidedly not "osteria-like," but it's absolutely in line with the level of cuisine and service offered. If you're looking to treat yourself to a special evening and a journey through flavors, this is an absolutely recommended destination. I'll definitely be back!

21/07/2026: Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!! We stayed in Napoli for 3 days and happened upon this place our first day for lunch—we went back every day after that! The pizza was phenomenal, the staff were so kind and friendly and funny. This is a place I will always remember for years to come!! While I’m a sucker for a Margherita, the DOP with Buffalo mozzarella knocked it out of the park. My partner also said it’s the best calzone he’s ever had. The drinks were well made and delicious. Thank you Umberto for such a wonderful experience!

14/06/2026: If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan cuisine combined with a warm welcome that makes you feel instantly at home, Il Gobbetto is a must-visit. We ate wonderfully: every dish was an explosion of authentic, traditional flavors, divinely cooked, and family-run. But the real highlight, besides the exquisite food and the atmosphere, is Pasquale. He's incredibly friendly, and the staff are simply wonderful, professional, and cheerful, creating a unique family atmosphere that makes you want to stay. We felt pampered from start to finish. We'll definitely be back! We were on a business trip to the DMED salon. Greetings to Pasquale from my dad, Vincenzo. ♥️🌶️

03/06/2026: Really hard to write this review as our first evening was excellent. Night two.. different staff. We were trying to sit outside but there wasn't any room. My husband really needed to use the washroom.. he walked in and told the long haired server that he wanted to sit outside but there was no room but he needed to use the washroom. My husband was told No. I walked in and explained the situation that we want to sit out side... right away he yelled "NO... YOUR HUSBAND SAID YOU WERE SITTING OUTSIDE... HE LIED". I said, no he didn't, we WANT to sit outside, but there isn't room. He throws a menu in my face... literally. I then told him that he was being very rude. At that point he told me to leave.... wow... totally unacceptable. We come to Sorrento very often and are EXTREMELY good tippers. Shame because we really enjoyed the staff the night before. EDIT: Dear Owner... yes I know you are the ONLY Irish pub in Sorrento... and WE WERE THERE! I take reviews VERY SERIOUSLY and wouldn't just make something up... for what purpose??? You're staff the first night was wonderful but the person working last night was just plain rude... He needs to learn how the service industry works.

The restaurant is truly exquisite, with a pleasant atmosphere and a splendid view, but the real added value is the staff. A special thanks goes to Roberta: an impeccable professional, extraordinarily welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, attentive to our every need and ready to accommodate any request with a smile. When excellent food combines with such warm and thoughtful hospitality, the experience becomes unforgettable. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

It’s one of the oldest and best places to enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza. I can’t even properly describe the experience—the taste was beyond perfection. Every bite was amazing. Please, please visit this place if you’re in Naples—you won’t be disappointed. The prices are unbelievably affordable for such high-quality food, making it exceptional value for money.

29/05/2026: Immerse yourself in local life with breakfast; you might see "the mama" coming with the teenagers to drink hot chocolate and eat croissants across from the high school! A friendly atmosphere, delicious pastries, and excellent value for money. Everything on the table, including glasses of sparkling water, for exactly €10.

03/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant and received a very warm welcome. We ordered the 24-hour cooked pork with hazelnuts and almonds, and it was delicious. The potato chips were fresh and perfectly cooked. The bill was reasonable. I recommend it.

01/06/2026: We found this restaurant because my girlfriend is celiac and we were looking for menus with gluten-free options. Not only did they have several safe choices for each course, they were also kind enough to save a portion of the tagliolini with shrimp and lemon just for us. The dishes were all very tasty and in adequate quantities for the price. There's a wide selection of wines, including natural ones. An honorable mention for the service, especially for one of the waiters who was very attentive to the needs of those with specific dietary requirements. A wonderful discovery.
