Very good gluten-free pizzas. The dough is incredible and looks a lot like normal impact. We took the DOP and the ancient Naples that we shared. As a starter there was also the possibility of getting gluten-free fried food to share! Excellent! For dessert they also offered us the gluten-free Neapolitan pastiera! Wonderful!
They pay close attention to allergies! Thank you so much 😍

The food is exquisite. We ordered a starter of aubergines with cheese covered in tomato sauce, delicious. Second, each a pizza: margherita and scarpariello. The second (with garlic and tomato) is impressive. The wine list is full of good Italian wines.
The service is good, if only fair. They could be nicer, probably because we are tourists and don't speak Italian, we received a colder welcome.
Despite being a holiday, and without a reservation, we only had to wait 15 minutes.

AIC 2023 certified restaurant, therefore it has a wide availability of gluten free dishes.
The first courses are slightly expensive but plentiful (we spent €35 each with a bottle of wine, eating a first course and a dessert with coffee). Recommended for both celiacs and non-celiacs!

Very good historic restaurant. Pasta omelette well made the old-fashioned, tasty way. Small Luciana-style octopus, tasty and soft even if I found the sauce a little watered down... I prefer it when it's a little more concentrated. Excellent pasta, potatoes and provola, from cooking to taste. It's a shame about the spaghetti with clams because they had an excellent taste but really too much oil... an exaggeration. Honorable mention for the pastiera which was truly excellent; Citrusy, fragrant, warm at the right point and not too sweet... a delight. Final price? Absolutely excellent. Well deserved tip.

We had lunch today at the Umberto restaurant. After easily booking a table online, which I recommend doing given the sophistication of the place, once we arrived we were warmly welcomed and accompanied to our table. We opted for the Genoese as a first course and then tasted the parmigiana, a stuffed artichoke and cod with cherry tomatoes, black olives and capers. Finally baba' and coffee. All exquisite with impeccable service in a welcoming environment.

Making Chiaia my home base for 2 nights in Naples, I looked for an authentic Neapolitan pizza restaurant I could walk to from the Grand Hotel Parker’s. After some quick searching, I found Umberto. Certainly this is a ‘locals’ place, so I was pleased by my greeting and our welcome by the staff as I was appreciative for the acceptance. Umberto definitely lives up to their Neapolitan pizza certification. I’m a big pizza snob, and I’m glad I spent a night dining in environs perfecting the pizza invented in Naples.

Food was really great, and the staff was really helpful and great! We had reservations but had just flown in from out of country so had to do the take out option unfortunately. Our hotel was walking distance from the restaurant, and it's in a really safe area of town. Would have loved to dine in, as the restaurant itself has such a great authentic Italian feel.

Non si può definire storico perché esiste dagli inizi del 900. Il servizio è molto gentile ed efficiente, meglio andare a pranzo che a cena perché è più affollato. La qualità del cibo è buona, i prezzi sono medio alti, i servizi igienici sono tenuti molto bene.
