09/10/2025: Brilliant meal here, recommended by our hotel and it was so good. We had an amazing pizza and the gnocchi sorrentina was fantastic. Prices were good and a good price range for wines.
07/10/2025: There food and service were amazing! The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the owner visited among the tables. We shared 5 dishes among 3 people. I finished with the Nutella tiramisu which is the best I’ve had in my week long visit to Italy. We were so hungry we didn’t take pictures but everything was presented well and the tiramisu s was a work of art!

There are stairs, but they're not marked, so a disabled person can't access them.
As soon as you enter, there's a very strong smell of fried food, and indeed, the fried food is too "fried." Should you put a hood on it? The marinated anchovies and escarole are excellent. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage are also good, although they had beans that weren't marked. The swordfish was good. €75 for 2 escarole, 1 swordfish, 2 anchovies, 1 tagliatelle. 1 bottle of water and 1/2 bottle of wine.

13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of them are taken over by restaurants. So, you expect first-class service, and the truth is, it's not like that. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English. "ABSURD."
Afterwards, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter.
He set the table in five stages, since instead of carrying everything on a tray, he brought us: the tablecloths first and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with the cutlery and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So if you ask about the food, I'll leave it to your amusing conclusion.
In short, expensive and bad.
Anyway,
Italy....
14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

15/04/2026: We spent a few day at L'Approdo B&B and ate in their restaurant. Toni and Anna are such kind and friendly hosts! The view over the marina from the room and the restaurant are just wonderful, and the sunsets amazing!
I highly recommend staying at this quiet little unassuming place.
What a nice place to use as a base to explore the Amalfi peninsula and Capri.
15/04/2026: Very tasty food and good portions for the price. Friendly service. I ordered fish with grilled vegetables, and it was very tasty 🤤. Short wait time.

18/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service. I wanted to have pizza with my husband, but I ate alone because my husband's pizza was wrong twice in a row. The non-EU waiter didn't even understand the correction we explained to him precisely. It's true that they didn't charge it, but my husband was left hungry and the evening was ruined. We won't be returning.
14/04/2026: A real Italian restaurant, with delicious food and friendly service. They do everything to make it a wonderful evening!!

14/03/2026: The prices they charge don't match those listed on their menu. I bought a "golden" sandwich for €8.70, but they charged me €9.30, even though I had it made without provolone, which meant they spent less money. They're not very serious, and from the comments I've heard on the peninsula, this is a widespread belief. You can also see the difference in traffic at their stores compared to their competitors.
26/02/2026: I just ordered a delivery. Two sandwiches, fast and punctual service, excellent quality, but unfortunately the sandwich was very dry. I ordered ariccia provola and fries, but it was practically dry, with no sauces, almost inedible. I asked if there was an extra charge for the sauces, but I didn't get a clear answer, so I said 1 ketchup and 1 mayonnaise, and they took it literally. So I used them for the portion of fries, not knowing that the sandwich was extremely dry, and since I was staying in a hotel, I only got poisoned. As a tourist in Naples, I'm used to having sauces free and in large quantities, especially on such dry sandwiches. Oh my god, what kangaroos!

17/09/2025: We dined here by chance. As we passed the fish shop, we saw some tables set, and we realized it was a place to enjoy fresh fish cooked in front of you. We enjoyed ten-star food. The staff was excellent, and the welcome was excellent. Well done, keep it up. I recommend it.

06/11/2025: Who would think a pizzeria by a train station would be good? Not me. But this place did not disappoint. You can tell it's a local spot. A lot of families.
The pizza was delicious and I got a tomato salad as I was looking for something refreshing. The tomato salad was sooooo gooooood. Yes that good.
The price was one of the better prices we found in this area. I would go there for a local place to eat good food.

20/09/2025: We chose this place specifically for the free parking, but the map doesn't show that it's in the mountains and quite far from the center, but it's convenient for reaching the Amalfi Coast. The rooms are cozy, surrounded by greenery and complete tranquility. There are animals everywhere, and unfortunately, lots of ants, even in the room! The breakfast was good and plentiful, the owners were very helpful, and motorbike rental is available for a fee, with delivery to the property!

08/03/2026: I give one star because I can't give less. After waiting about ten minutes to order takeout pizzas, we were told we could pick them up in 45 minutes, and were made to pay in advance. When we went to pick them up, not only were they not ready yet, but we were completely ignored by the waitress. After about ten minutes, I asked how much longer it would take for the pizzas, and the owner's wife replied that she would go ask her husband at the pizzeria, which wasn't true, since only after a further reminder did she decide to go and ask. After another five minutes, the owner, shouting at us from the pizzeria as we were waiting near the entrance with the utmost arrogance and rudeness, without offering any justification, told us that we would have to wait at least another hour and a half for the pizzas, which we had already paid for. Our options were to lose the money for the pizzas or wait. Forced to wait, a completely ruined Saturday evening spent waiting at a pizzeria for pizzas ordered at 9:15 and delivered at 11:30.
Personally, I've never seen a person from the kitchen yell at their customers in a restaurant, and I would have expected at least an apology from someone for the inconvenience, rather than being glared at by the staff as if I were the one who caused the problem.
Absolutely not to try unless you want to ruin an evening.
