13/07/2026: Incredible food. Everything was fantastic. The puttanesca was well-balanced and bright, and the truffle salsiccia was TO DIE FOR! Seriously mind-blowing. Service was attentive and well-informed without being intrusive. 10/10 experience, highly recommended!

05/04/2026: Very friendly staff, excellent food, and above all, one of the few places that truly caters to intolerances. They always cater to those with lactose intolerances, allowing them to enjoy a delicious pizza of any flavor.

11/06/2026: A restaurant worthy of its reputation. We came here as a couple on a Friday evening, and despite there being about twenty people waiting at the door, we were seated immediately. The food was fresh and high-quality, with generous portions and prices absolutely in line with the offerings. The service was fast and efficient; I've never seen such a high number of employees for a single restaurant. It's definitely worth a try.

21/05/2026: I'm not familiar with the other restaurants in Pompeii, but this one completely satisfied us. Excellent dishes showcased the ingredients. We arrived without a reservation, but luckily we managed to get a table, as the restaurant filled up quickly with everyone who had booked. We ordered a trio of seafood appetizers, each more delicious than the last, followed by spaghetti with clams and pasta alla Garum, and to finish, a rum baba with ricotta. Everything, as mentioned, was superb!

17/07/2026: Spectacular food. We do not usually eat at the same restaurant but this one was so exceptional that ate here 3 times. The staff were extremely welcoming and everything from the carpaccio, the fresh pasta and the fresh fish was superb. Fantastic wine and spritz and the cost was extremely reasonable, particularly considering the amazing quality.

23/06/2026: A bright, welcoming, and clean restaurant. The staff is polite, friendly, quick, competent, and professional. Excellent cuisine and beautifully presented dishes. Impeccable service. The dining room overlooking the sea offers unique spectacles: boats leaving behind them, white wakes reflected in the daylight, delineating their origins. The sea is bathed in a thousand shades of blue, changing into various hues painted by the wind, the sky, and the sun. In the evening hours, the sunset over the sea reigns supreme. Among the many shades of red that paint the horizon and along the line of the calm sea, the outline of the sun dips, still able to send warmth that can be delicately felt on the face turned toward the setting sun. In this place, between one course and the next, you can enjoy a romantic, enveloping, and unforgettable dinner. A place worth visiting. Last but not least, I would like to point out the hospitality and attentiveness that Mr. Francesco and his fantastic staff extend to their guests.

21/06/2026: We stayed here for one night, and it was terrible. The room was extremely humid, it smelled musty as soon as we walked in, and most importantly, the sheets and towels were practically soaking wet. Even for just one night, you can't sleep like this... and in fact, we didn't get any sleep. I'm giving it two stars only because the breakfast was good, with a decent variety.

25/07/2026: We dined here twice during our stay in Sorrento. The food and service were top notch. Staff were very accomodating, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The sun lounges on the sundeck were lovely to relax on after our meals.

14/07/2026: Porta Marina was amazing! We chose this for our dinner in Marina Grande and it was a great choice. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the food was wonderful. We got there around 7:15p and were one of the last tables seated before it filled up. If you get there and there is a wait, it is definitely worth it, and they will bring wine out to you while you are waiting. We both had different seafood pasta dishes and they were fresh and delicious. We will be going back!

25/07/2026: Made a reservation for a Sunday night, and had an incredible time. The outside seating is tiered, with sectioned private tables nestled in beautiful greenery. Since it was so hot during our stay in Sorrento, we opted to sit inside. We were guided down a flight of stairs, which led to an elegant dining area that was once the 16th century wine cellar for a former monastery. There is also another flight of stairs that lead up to more seating, and the wine cellar. Once seated, we were handed the wine menu, which listed countless choices. Admitting we were in over our heads, a Sommelier, Geppino, was sent to our table. He was wonderful! Warm, friendly, helpful and extremely passionate about his role. He suggested a 2020 Chianti we thoroughly enjoyed, and which paired well with everything we ate. We were so taken with his hospitality and energy, that we took two bottles of wine home with us! My husband ordered the Raviolo for his first course, and the Beef for his second. I chose to hand my selections over to the chef, ordering the "In Our Hands" portion of the Scent of the Land. Everything that came out, was beyond fabulous. Even my husband, who is not a foodie, gave high praise. There was artistry in every presentation. Proteins were melt in your mouth tender and enveloped in savory sauces and tender pasta. Natural fats were beautifully balanced with subtle bits of acidity that left your palette satisfied yet craving for more. You could taste culinary expertise in every bite, with each plate being perfectly portioned. With each serving, it was obvious how much care the kitchen put into each dish. Service was on point, with staff constantly circling the restaurant, watching to see if anything was needed. They were friendly and engaging, and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Il Buco served up some of the best food we have ever had. True craftmanship from beginning to end.

19/07/2026: Excellent spot for a drink in the historic center. They have a good selection of beers and a wide variety of wines and cocktails, as well as other beverages. They also offer various appetizers to accompany your drinks. The first time we went, we ordered craft beers, which were very good, and bruschetta, which was also delicious. The second time, we tried the white wine tasting, which I highly recommend. For €15, they offer three glasses of local wines from the Campania region, which we really enjoyed. They also have an appetizer option of a mix of rustic pastries, served with olives and other snacks, which we thought was a great deal for €5. Furthermore, the service is excellent. The waiters are very friendly and attentive!

05/05/2026: The restaurant is located a bit outside of town in a residential area. We received a very friendly welcome and had the Parmigiana Croccante – absolutely fantastic! The pizza (Parmigiana) was also the best I've ever eaten. To top it off, we were offered a complimentary Limoncello, and the prices are really reasonable for Capri. Highly recommended.
