28/05/2025: We went to this seafood restaurant in Somma Vesuviana for a dinner with friends and the experience was excellent from every point of view. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the manager himself, who immediately put us at ease with kindness and professionalism. The dinner was really delicious: very fresh seafood dishes, with attention to detail and full of flavor. Each course was a pleasant discovery, accompanied by attentive but never intrusive service. 16/07/2025: My family and I are coming to this hotel for the second time, next summer we will definitely come again. A very nice family hotel, with amazing cheerful owners and staff who refuse nothing. Very comfortable territory, with a swimming pool and sun loungers that are constantly kept clean. There is a parking lot, a bus stop to Amalfi is 50 meters from the hotel. All the infrastructure in the form of shops, bus stops and other necessary utensils for a tourist is within walking distance, but despite this, the hotel is calm and quiet. On the territory there is a restaurant with a full menu, soft drinks and cocktails, the pricing policy is lower than the general in Amalfi or nearby hotels - this is a fact. Special thanks to the waiters for the service, everything is fast and clear. Do not think about the language barrier, you will certainly find a common language even without knowing English. Cleaning of the rooms is also - high praise. Everything is very thorough and attentive. Guys, we thank you for the pleasant and friendly atmosphere. See you next year. Best regards 🙌🏾🤝

15/07/2025: We had a magical dining experience at Due Torri in Agerola. From the moment we sat down, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a relaxed ambiance by the poolside, and the gentle charm of Italian summer evenings. The seafood here is absolutely divine. We started with the Antipasto di Mare – a fresh, generous platter of mussels, clams, shrimp, octopus, and more – beautifully arranged and full of flavor. The grilled seafood BBQ plate was perfectly cooked: juicy prawns, tender squid, swordfish, and grilled fillets, each bite bursting with Mediterranean goodness. The fried calamari and shrimp were crispy and golden without being oily, served with fresh lemon wedges that elevated the taste even more. We paired it all with a smooth 1L carafe of red wine, which was full-bodied and complemented the dishes wonderfully. To finish, we had creamy gelato that was the perfect ending to a rich and satisfying meal. Service was attentive and friendly, the prices were fair (our whole meal for two came to just €72), and the setting – peaceful, with the soft glow of pool lights and distant mountain air – made it feel extra special. If you’re visiting Agerola or staying nearby on the Amalfi Coast, Due Torri is a must-visit for a memorable seafood dinner. Grazie mille for a wonderful night!

19/07/2025: A very small restaurant with uncomfortable tables, but what pleasantly surprised us was the flavor of all the dishes, from the appetizers to the first course (linguine with sea urchin), all delicious, and that's because they use top-quality ingredients. Not to mention the homemade desserts, which were delicious. The service was quick and courteous, something you don't always get (there are no photos of the desserts because they were so good and sold out quickly). I recommend booking as the place is very small.

23/07/2025: On a short holiday from england and this place genuinely kept us fed and happy for the week. Food is great and portion sizes are large which was great for us as they would always offer to box up anything we couldn’t finish, drinks are great for a low price, and staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, even going as far as to remember our names and what are usual was, just goes to show how much care goes into their business. If we ever come back to sorrento we will surely come back and say hello and of course get yet another pizza. 20/07/2025: We went to 'Mericano' on the recommendation of a dear friend, inspired by the excellent beer selection. A very nice Western-style place. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Excellent food. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Pompeii amphitheater.

08/07/2025: Pompei is a lovely place, filled with amazing restaurants and huge amounts of history. After a long (long) (LONG) day trawling round the ancient city, we needed somewhere to relax and refuel. This place, literally across the road from the main entrance to the Ruins, was somewhere we initially passed by but then came back to, and I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing - the Custer burger (as the photo) is HUGE. The burger itself was well-cooked, retaining pinkness in the middle and brought out medium. Personally, and this is absolutely just my preference, I'd have liked to have had mine medium-rare but I'm sure had I known and asked they would have accommodated my request. The bacon on my burger was beyond delicious - it might have been the tastiest bacon I've ever eaten in my whole life. Overall, the burger probably weighed about a pound (500g) and was fabulous. Comes with a small side of french fries, which were equally delicious. My wife had the Andrea burger, which she assures me was equally lovely. The pricing is incredibly reasonable, with most burgers being about €10-12. Drinks are reasonably priced as well - 50cl beers are around €5, and a small selection of cocktails for less than €8 in all cases. I wanted to try the steak, but this is priced by weight at €4.50/ 100g with a minimum order of 600g, so €27 minimum and I suspect is intended for 2 people to share. If the minimum order had been, say, 400g I would have almost certainly jumped on it. Overall, this was a great find that we were lucky to come across. I'd recommend it to ANYONE who happens to be in Pompei and is looking for a fine burger!

03/08/2025: A historic Neapolitan restaurant with a small indoor dining room and outdoor seating. Reservations aren't possible, but since we arrived early, we were seated right away. There was a long line of people waiting outside. The fried pizzas were very good, but the service wasn't: we waited quite a while for them to arrive (we didn't order appetizers).

11/08/2025: We visited Semola twice during our stay in the area. We had no reservation and although the place was full at around 19.30, we managed to find a table inside the restaurant. The first night we tried carbonara and amatriciana and were simply fantastic! The second night pesto genovese and canelloni. The mince meat inside the canelloni was a bit dry but the rest tomato sause was great. The only downside was the parmegano cheese that we had to ask to get it and they did not let it on the table. The location of the place is very central and convenient. Totally recommend it for anyone in the around area.

30/07/2025: We went this Saturday, in bad weather and rain, but they gave us a good price for umbrellas and loungers. The service was very good, as was the food; I was really impressed with the excellent quality. I recommend it.

27/07/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una serata romantica in questo locale che si presenta con un vasto menù e una location fronte mare mozzafiato. Abbiamo cominciato con un antipasto mare a parer mio eccezionale! Poi con due primi piatti: uno con vongole e zucchine e un’altro cozze, fiori di zucca e pecorino. Il primo era un po’ insipido e non mi ha fatto impazzire sinceramente mentre il secondo già meglio ma il pecorino sovrastava decisamente il sapore delle cozze. per poi terminare con due limoncelli.(gentilmente offerti dalla struttura) Prezzi medio alti (la location è un buon motivo per accettare il compromesso). Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile, consigliandoci anche qualche piatto. ci ritornerei volentieri provando anche altri piatti.

You choose your own meat from the desired cattle-raising area, with different flavors of the meat based on breed and area (Italian, Portuguese, Irish, Spanish, etc. Large pieces of at least 1 kg are grilled and sliced up. You get your own heated iron plate on the table to cook the pieces the way you want them. Exquisite service and quality. But it costs.

11/07/2025: We ate here for dinner last night and it was amazing. I had the pesto penne and my partner had the carbonara and they were both amazing! We shared ham and melon for starter which was gorgeous too. The best carbonara we have ever tasted!

02/07/2025: We came across this restaurant and decided to try it. We were grateful that we could find options for my picky daughter and the rest of my family. Food and wine were excellent. We had spaghetti and meatballs, breaded cutlets and hamburger panino. Service was friendly and quick. Prices were reasonable. We will come back again. This restaurant was the best we had in sorrento that week.
