08/10/2025: We quickly booked a night for a couple with a dog. We were offered a room with a queen-size bed. The room was a bit small, but for us, who are used to camping, it was perfect and super clean. The owners were very concerned about our dog, who should have had adequate space in the room, and they were very kind. We ate very little because we were coming off an over-the-top lunch; what little we had was delicious. Breakfast was excellent; we purchased their products: garlic, onions, oil, eggs, chili peppers...spectacular oil...Highly recommended.

18/06/2025: I have only tried the restaurant service: excellent, healthy and genuine food, being all locally produced, and at reasonable prices. Absolutely not to be missed!

02/11/2025: We were at this restaurant just yesterday. The location is cozy and typical of the mountains, with Christmas-themed decorations. Even though it was crowded, there was no sense of commotion. As for the food, there was nothing to complain about; it was all excellent. There were six of us and we tried several dishes; we were all very satisfied. The first courses and the second course of cabbage and kale in a sort of basket, baked in the oven (I think), were absolutely mouth-watering. 😋

08/11/2025: I ordered pizzas for delivery at 6:00 PM, asking for them to be delivered by 8:00 PM. It was a birthday party. The pizzas arrived 30 minutes late (8:30 PM), and I paid the delivery guy. Once we got home, we realized they'd forgotten one of the pizzas, and it was the birthday girl's. After calling, they fixed the mix-up, of course, but the missing pizza didn't arrive until 9:00 PM. I would have understood better if it had been a Saturday night, but on a Wednesday night, I think that between the well-advanced order, the late delivery, and the forgotten pizza, the service was absolutely subpar. I'm sorry.

25/09/2025: Top-notch pizza and kebab. Precise and punctual home delivery. Very helpful and friendly staff.

05/09/2025: A Tagliacozzo tradition is to eat pizza at Maurizio's.

05/07/2025: It's strange to find traditional Roman pizza in Tagliacozzo but that's how it is. The first time we stopped by chance just before closing and it seemed like a "normal" place. We returned a few days later and the line filled the sidewalk! I don't like queuing (under the sun) but it was worth it and that's all I have to say. Only white, red and potato pizza. Few things but done well.

08/06/2025: The croissants cost 1.50. Too expensive, average quality.

02/10/2025: Very nice place; we went for lunch on a weekday. Unfortunately, the service was very slow because, from what we saw, the woman was alone. She was super nice, but we waited over an hour for a plate of overcooked pasta. The platter was a bit sparse; there were more pickles than cured meats and cheeses. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. It's a shame because the place is very good.

22/09/2025: What can I say...a magical, historic, and stunning place. We've been there several times, even with friends. I booked lunch here after reading some ridiculous, less-than-favorable reviews, which made me laugh, especially the owner's responses. I think you have to try it for yourself, and in fact, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food just as much. The staff was fun and fast, and the dishes were unique and very good. I always recommend Taberna when I hear from friends who go to Calascio. Congratulations!

At Ettore you can experience all this and if you like some work of art you can also buy it, at Ettore it's all an experience, a small but welcoming place the presentation of the dishes is worthy of a starred restaurant, in short I could continue with the adjectives but it would be useless the only thing to do is go there and live the experience!!! ! !.......... and I forgot and the bill is absolutely honest!!! ! Recommended 👍👍👍

21/11/2025: There were six of us for lunch. Delicious, handmade fregnacce, scamorza and prosciutto, lamb—all delicious. Reasonable prices.

20/10/2025: An excellent restaurant. The fregnacce are exquisite and inimitable. All the dishes are very good. Time-honored tradition with quality local products. Special desserts. The DOP L'Aquila saffron cake is not to be missed. Everyone is kind, like true Abruzzese people.

03/07/2025: The gluten-free Pinsa Regina (a round Margherita) was terrible. Thick, poorly cooked pasta and lots of tomato, a puree just out of the jar, a bit warm. For 1 person it cost €16 because it's gluten-free. Excessive price! But if only it were expensive but well-decorated and precise in the service... instead my pinsa/pizza arrived after having served me one with gluten (even though we had talked about it well in fact I also asked for gluten-free beer which they don't have), the other pinsa was served on the already very skimpy plastic cutting board, used for a long time. So: bad pizza/Pinsa, absurd price, service error, they have gluten-free food but not beer, you eat on old plastic cutting boards, the outdoor area is as anonymous as there is. I ended up there because on Sunday evening I couldn't find anything else. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I'm sorry I didn't contest the bill at the time but sometimes you're tired, hot and I had no choice.

07/05/2025: Great Pinsa with a very delicious dough. They are very friendly to students and it has a great feel if you are there with many friends.

03/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in Cavallino. We come every year. You can also dine in the restaurant when you're not staying at the campsite. There's ample parking.
