07/03/2026: Food and drink is nice. BUT, We saw (what looked like to be the owner) eating directly out of the ice cream tub with a spoon. Putting the spoon in his mouth and dipping it back into the ice-cream tub that is used to serve customers. Shocking. All their hygiene standards must be poor.

07/03/2026: I had high expectations after seeing the menu on the blackboard, but the experience was a bit disappointing. The dish I wanted was already sold out even though lunch had just begun! We had a chickpea and pumpkin soup, good but without any special highlights, and a mushroom stew, unfortunately very heavy and full of oil. The portions were quite small, and the service was friendly but a bit distracted. It's a shame, because the promise was excellent.

16/11/2025: Today, where everything travels online, where destinations and places to stop for lunch or dinner are chosen, it's not possible to wait in front of this place waiting for it to open and find out it's closed for holidays, with no communication on the various social networks or most popular pages. I hope that improvements in this aspect can be considered.

03/03/2026: Located at the end of Lake Barrea, just before the entrance to Villetta Barrea. The place is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is quality, and the wait times are reasonable. Prices are fair and food-related.
27/02/2026: Strategically located between Villetta Barrea and Barrea, this is an excellent lakeside bar. They serve sandwiches and hot dishes, and are also popular with locals.

08/11/2025: I ordered pizzas for delivery at 6:00 PM, asking for them to be delivered by 8:00 PM. It was a birthday party. The pizzas arrived 30 minutes late (8:30 PM), and I paid the delivery guy. Once we got home, we realized they'd forgotten one of the pizzas, and it was the birthday girl's. After calling, they fixed the mix-up, of course, but the missing pizza didn't arrive until 9:00 PM. I would have understood better if it had been a Saturday night, but on a Wednesday night, I think that between the well-advanced order, the late delivery, and the forgotten pizza, the service was absolutely subpar. I'm sorry.

22/10/2025: We broke down during our vacation and ended up in Magliano de Marsi by chance. This restaurant was our first choice! A godsend. Like a treat from grandma. The food is plentiful, authentic, and home-cooked. Great prices. The atmosphere is the same. Highly recommended.
19/10/2025: The atmosphere is refined, spacious, and comfortable. The dishes are home-cooked. Personally, I'd increase the portion of pasta because in Abruzzo, you eat a lot. The service, while friendly, could be speeded up. The quality/price ratio is well-balanced. I'd add a wine list.

06/01/2026: A wonderful experience in the heart of the Abruzzo mountains. Totò, an expert brewer, produces excellent quality beers. The place offers a wide selection of locally sourced craft beers and excellent food to accompany them.

Modern, fresh, and with a wide selection.
Everything is delicious.
Both inside and outside seating.

06/09/2025: The place is welcoming and unique, with a warm and casual atmosphere. There's a wide selection of books available for reading when you're not eating... the dishes are interesting, but one of the first courses, which we both tried, was inedible because it was too salty.
These are the situations (nothing serious in itself, it can happen) that demonstrate the owner's professionalism, which, unfortunately, fell short in this case. Prices are high for the restaurant's target market.

16/06/2025: Questo luogo va vissuto. Non penso sia possibile descriverlo, per la ricchezza di cose che contornano i tavoli. Storia, arte, luci, colori. L’interno una passeggiata in cose meravigliose, d’altri tempi. Le pietanze, poi, toccano la perfezione. Il carpaccio di cervo con i carciofini è squisito, lo è anche un prosciutto, tagliato spesso, bagnato con olio d’oliva EVO. Completa il tutto un servizio professionale, amichevole e rispettoso. Tornerò, sicuramente.
