16/06/2025: I went for dinner on the evening of 11/06 and lunch on 12/06. WOW experience, the food was great, the owner, who is also a chef, cooks divinely. The waiter, friendly, very attentive to customers. At dinner I enjoyed their cutting board, raw ham, salami, burrata, pecorino and omelette all accompanied by a freshly baked focaccia. Egg with truffle. Then a beef steak, rare for me, that you could have cut with a breadstick because the meat was so tender. Tiramisu to finish. The next day for lunch, mushroom and sausage lasagna, arrosticini and tiramisu. What can I say, if it were possible I would have given 10 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, if you pass through Celano, a must-see. BOOK in advance, even during the week. TOP food quality. TOP value for money.

30/05/2025: We discovered this vegetarian restaurant thanks to a friend and it turned out to be a real gem. The experience was excellent from every point of view. The food was prepared by Barbara with great care and attention to detail: each dish was a small masterpiece, not only for the taste, but also for the presentation. Andrea and Barbara were incredibly kind and helpful, welcoming us with a smile and making us feel immediately at ease. The service was impeccable, friendly but discreet. The passion they put into their work and the love for vegetarian cuisine and the products of their land are evident A place where we will definitely return and that we highly recommend to those looking for a genuine, tasty and quality experience.

29/05/2025: Ero stato in questo luogo (chiamarlo ristorante è riduttivo) 6 anni fa. Ci sono tornato il mese scorso ed è stato come tornare a trovare dei cari amici. Perché venire qui solo per mangiare è solo una piccola parte. Ovviamente, tutto quello che prepara Barbara è ottimo, e lo dico io che non sarei molto amante delle verdure. Ma oltre alla qualità e la cura delle ricette di Barbara, quello che ti fa innamorare di questo posto è la passione e delicatezza che esprimono Andrea e Barbara in quello che ti propongono. Come ho già detto, dopo 6 anni (ed esserci stato solo una volta) mi sono sentito come in famiglia. Non è una cena, è un'esperienza mistica. Cari Andrea e Barbara, anche se purtroppo non abito vicino, tornerò a trovarvi tutte le volte che potrò.

28/05/2025: I discovered this restaurant by searching online for the best places to eat around Roccaraso and I wasn't disappointed, so much so that I went back for dinner a second time in a few months even though I'm not from the area. Every dish made an impression on us, strong but perfectly harmonious flavors and perfect consistencies. Dishes that are apparently simple, without too many frills but truly special. The location is elegant and modern, at the same time welcoming and warm. Excellent wine list. It would be nice to go back for lunch to enjoy the terrace they have overlooking the lake. Fast and attentive service, the head waiter a little on his own, but that's okay. Highly recommended.

11/05/2025: Accolti dal proprietario che subito ci ha messo a ns agio per i tavoli. Servizio veloce e gentile. Cibo eccellente con antipasti sia salumi che formaggi veramente di qualità. 07/06/2025: Posto unico nel suo genere , ricorda i quadri di Colantoni e gli interni a Vela di Urbino.Artigianalita' presente ovunque :pasta fatta in casa , carne nostrana , vini di vignaioli scrupolosi e particolari , formaggi con stagionature selezionate e rari da trovare. Il servizio richiederebbe un capitolo a parte : oste, sommelier, titolare , a tratti fratello amico , a tratti grande professionista. Insomma chi ti serve il piatto ti accoglie a tutto tondo. La materia prima é di alta qualita' e la loro icona dice molto se non tutto: una nonna di altri tempi e madre del fondatore dell' osteria. Mi complimento con la gestione e la consiglio fortemente a tutti!!

Le emozioni che ti regalano questo posto potrebbero essere descritte soltanto dalle sensazioni: quelle del palato per prime, poi quelle "a pelle" create dall'accoglienza di Sandro, dai suoi racconti, dalla passione che lo avvolge, quasi da essere tangibile... Ogni volta che torniamo alla locanda e sempre un viaggio incantevole! È come ritrovarsi nella profondità dell'anima. Cercate la vostra!

27/06/2025: Nice location, warm welcome, the kitchen is a bit slow, I expected something more for the appetizer, excellent pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, good arrosticini. We will return.

22/06/2025: Good morning, excellent meal consumed in company. The owners were very kind, I was contacted again for the free table despite the holiday in which the patron saint was celebrated. They welcomed us by offering us delicious extra courses off the menu, such as an amazing Black Angus carpaccio. After a magnificent lunch the owner offered a round of rum from his cellar. All the courses were excellent, worthy of the location which is surrounded by greenery. The local products such as sausages and appetizers of cured meats and cheeses were truly excellent. An experience that I highly recommend to everyone including families with children because the area is full of attractions. Thank you, Andrea.

We'll be back immediately! 11.05.2025 We went back a second time. Even though it was practically full, we were welcomed and treated like a god by the owner and the staff. In addition to delicious dishes, kindness always comes back to touch our hearts!
