05/02/2024: We visited Scanno for the day last Saturday and stopped for lunch at the Porta. We booked an hour in advance, but being February we easily found a place, in other periods I don't know because the place is really small, but for this reason it is also welcoming and I also liked the interaction that Mrs. Bice (I think she is the owner) manages to create among the various customers by describing the traditional dishes they serve.
There were two of us and we had two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, a dessert, water, beer and coffee, and we spent the right amount for a meal like this (€67).
The menu is daily, changes according to seasonality and serves traditional dishes, for example we had the cazzinicchi with foie and some really good spaghetti alla guitar.
Advised!
