29/08/2025: A beautiful hotel in a quiet location. Our suite was a dream. The service was very friendly. The food at Bistro Al Vas is highly recommended. The WhatsApp ordering service at the beach loungers is also great! Fresh towels are provided for the outdoor area every day. The spa is small but adequate and must be reserved in advance. The free ride in the hotel's Fiat 500 is a highlight. SUPs and bicycles are provided free of charge. We had a wonderful week here and would happily recommend the hotel!

10/08/2025: I was hospitalized and wanted ice cream. They brought it to me from this ice cream shop. What can I say? Superlative. It's been ages since I've had ice cream this good. My son, accustomed to traveling the world, said the same thing. Balanced flavors and, above all, not loaded with sugar like so many other desserts. A score of 10+: yogurt, mango and passion fruit hazelnut, and gianduja with hazelnut all passed the test. I highly recommend it. Sorry for the photos.

20/07/2025: I booked a table two weeks in advance, only to arrive and find no table. She asked me to come back in ten minutes, and in the meantime, she was setting up the table that was becoming available. When I returned, the table was occupied by other people. No table reserved!

16/07/2025: Ristorante di tenore normale, ma non nel prezzo ne nella trasparenza del menu. Ci siamo seduti dopo aver letto il menù affisso fuori. Il problema è che poi ci hanno portato il menù alla carta, che presentava prezzi più alti rispetto a quelli affissi fuori. In particolare il primo che avevo scelto sul menù esterno costava 16 euro, mentre poi in realtà costava 21 euro. Il tutto per un piatto poi ben presentato ma comunque di qualità media. Anche gli altri piatti e bevande costavano troppo rispetto alla qualità del cibo e del posto. Ci dispiace scrivere questo...ma ci sono diverse cose da rivedere...

The manager’s attitude was equally distasteful — curt, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. The atmosphere felt cold and uninspired. Overall vibe: a tragic -2/10.

28/07/2025: We arrived without great expectations and weren't sure what to expect: Beautifully set tables with cloth tablecloths and napkins, a friendly waitress who gave us a nice table in the shade! The menu left nothing to be desired – everything your heart desires! Such a lovely, pleasant, and delicious lunch 😊 We haven't had such a delicious meal in such a pleasant atmosphere for a long time! Thank you so much, and please keep up the good work!

20/08/2025: We stopped in for a quick bite to eat while taking a break from sightseeing in Verona. We ordered tiramisu, an ice cream cone, chicken sticks for our son, coffees, and drinks. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. The location was excellent, with a view of the Arena and the Victor Emmanuel II monument. The downside was the high prices, especially the additional fees added to the bill, the standard Italian coperto and servicio, which amount to 10% of the total.

24/08/2025: Excellent venue, both inside and out, with a very well-maintained and clean space. The staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the service is prompt and accurate. A perfect place to stop in Bardolino for an aperitivo, some wonderful gelato, or even just a hot tea. The bitters and grappas are excellent. The gelato here is amazing, truly a treat.

24/08/2025: Whenever we're in Bardolino, the "Caffe Bardolino" is a pleasant must-visit every year – breakfast with classic Italian pastries is the order of the day. These are available in a fantastic selection in the display case (just pop in, choose, and it's served at your table) and in many different ways (dry, with cream, with fruit, etc.). Ultimately, the Ceffe Bardolino is an offshoot of the pizzeria/gelateria "Cristallo" down by the harbor, with an identical menu – but with a complementary full pastry selection (which you won't find at the Cristallo). The coffee is typically Italian, and the milk foam on the cappuccino is worth a special mention. The pastries aren't cheap, but they're still good value for money considering the freshness and the clearly high quality of the pastries. The ambiance on the terrace is unfortunately a bit austere, with tables spaced quite closely together, designed for maximum capacity, but completely shaded and also rainproof. However, there's no ambiance or details that create a sense of well-being; everything is functional – nothing more, nothing less. The coziness factor is somewhat less pronounced on this basis (just a typical location in a prime location in a tourist hotspot), but this is more than compensated for by the excellent pastries. Hence, five stars with a deduction in the B grade (ambience). We also include the restrooms in the ambience – regular hygiene checks here (even in the morning) would certainly improve the overall impression (and also a bit more consideration from the users, who ensure that things don't get so great quickly ;-)). The service is prompt, distantly friendly – ​​completely average for a tourist hotspot. The friendly, honest warmth that you encounter everywhere outside the town center or in the hinterland of Bardolino is absent. The service is friendly but also geared towards efficiency. Ultimately, the reason we keep coming back is the pastries, which, in our opinion, are top-notch in Bardolino.
