03/09/2025: I had breakfast with my daughter at this pastry shop, and while ordering, I asked for a bowl for my dogs, and the waitress agreed without batting an eyelid. After two or three reminders, the water didn't arrive, and when it came time to pay, I mentioned this to the person at the cashier... I wish I'd never done that! The response was, "Anyone who goes out with dogs should bring their own water." Then, annoyed, the lady went out onto the terrace to get a bowl and presented it to me at the cashier. I promptly replied that I didn't think this was appropriate for a business. I won't be returning!

09/08/2025: At Pronto Pizza takeaway, every bite is a delight: perfect dough, generous toppings, and super-punctual delivery. Fair price, top-notch quality. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: The food was ok, not as good as some years ago. The service was the worst of all. Although the weiter brought everything we needed, he had an awful attitude, almost aggressive. That made our experience a bad one. I had been there many times, but I now understand that it's time to give other places a chance. Goodbye to il carro armato!

29/08/2025: A beautiful, old-world restaurant with wooden benches and tables, high wooden ceilings, and a relaxing atmosphere. The quality of the dishes is good, though perhaps not as generous in quantity. The service is quick and genuine.

07/05/2025: I miei nonni negli anni 60-70 venivano al Bue d’oro con mia mamma e mio zio. É per me un piacere venirci a mia volta. Location curata, menu di cui avrei assaggiato sostanzialmente tutto, servizio cortese e veloce. Giusto il rapporto prezzo-qualità. Ci tornerò e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti.

17/02/2025: Dopo l'ormai collaudata Spizzicheria Veneta (sempre la benvenuta) lasciamo parcheggiati i vari tortelli e proviamo i gnocchi con crema di melanzane arrosto, Grana Padano a scaglie e bacon croccante. Eccellenti! Saltiamo quindi in un volo pindarico sul Cotechino fatto in casa e così con stupore abbiamo gustato un'eccellenza del territorio, il broccoletto di Custoza. Abbinamento inconsueto ma perfetto. A chiudere l'estroso Spumone allo zabaione, morbida composizione di savoiardi, zabaione al marsala, panna montata e meringhe. Golosissimo! Non dimentichiamo certamente Maître Vincenzo, sempre attento ad assistere il cliente e i Sig.ri titolari gentilmente presenti in sala. Alla prossima. Arrigo Paolo e Ombretta

18/02/2025: Overcooked pasta with very little seasoning. The pasta was supposed to be with hare sauce but there was only a bit of peeled tomatoes and traces of minced meat which I think was hare. Too bad pasta as well as very overcooked with no flavour. The waiter asked me if I wanted it remade but given the premises I don't think that even if cooked in the right way the flavor would have changed because it was so unseasonable! My husband asked for the same dish but instead of macaroni with linguine and then we realized that he paid €2 more. We didn't even say it because we couldn't wait to leave and never come back. It's a shame, the place is really very nice but then I understood why, on Valentine's Day, it was completely empty!

24/07/2025: Historic pizzeria in the land of pizza. The quality of the food and service is consistently top-notch. I recommend their Tuesday night happy hour: half-price pizzas!

13/07/2025: While I was looking for parking in the car and the few spaces in the courtyard were taken, my girlfriend got out and asked a waiter with short hair, stocky build but with a "Taton" attitude (I think he was in his 30s) if he was available for a table for two. He had the nerve to ask her if she could give him her cell phone number seeing her alone and when she said no outright, followed immediately after by my sudden appearance with an arrogant attitude without having said anything to him, he denied the evidence on his own, telling her that he hadn't asked her but her male colleague behind her but at that moment he was looking my partner in the eye and there was no one behind her! As if that weren't enough, he stalled when we asked for the bill to be brought to our table, and after waiting about 15 minutes in vain, we showed up at the cash register. He was standing in front of the pizza oven, looking like a jerk, laughing and talking about his upcoming soccer matches while drinking a beer with his arm leaning against the wall. It's so embarrassing to see this scene on a Saturday night, with a line of people waiting to be seated! I'll conclude by saying that overall, the pizza was decent, even though it arrived cold, but it was full of mosquitoes that kept biting us even with the mosquito repellent, and the lighting was too low. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

01/09/2025: We went today to celebrate a family birthday and Mother's Day. We'd already been there on a Sunday for lunch, without a reservation, a while back, but I recommend calling to avoid disappointment; it was packed today. It's a cute little place, not too big, with a few seats outside. It's well-organized, and the service is fast and attentive. We chose the à la carte menu, each choosing their favorites. There are 5-6 options for each type. The first courses were very good and plentiful, and the pasta was homemade. The various meats were tender, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The vegetables were varied, and the cuisine was homemade and meticulously prepared. The desserts were some homemade, others from well-known local bakeries. The price was reasonable for what we ordered, around €30-35 each. We were invited, but we'll be back. The food was good!

25/08/2025: It's always a great pleasure to return to this trattoria. I do so not only for the excellent quality of the dishes, but also for the hospitality of the owner and his staff. If you're in the Cologna area for work, I highly recommend you dine here.

13/08/2025: I am not often negative, but here almost everything went wrong. We ordered five pizzas for a group of five to start with. After about 20 minutes, the first two arrived. Five minutes later, the third one came. Everyone politely waited for the last two, but they never arrived — meaning the first pizzas had gone cold. We called the waiter, who reported it to the kitchen. After waiting another 15–20 minutes, we asked again. Finally, more than half an hour after the first pizzas had been served, the fourth one arrived — thrown onto the table without a word. Ten minutes later, I had to ask yet again for the fifth pizza. It eventually arrived more than an hour after the first ones, undercooked, disgusting in taste, and I threw half of it away. In the meantime, nobody came by to ask if we wanted drinks. Eventually, I went to speak with the manager. He told me, very clearly, that I was a tourist and didn’t know what a real Italian pizza should taste like — claiming I only knew cheap pizzas and not “real” ones. After ten minutes, he was still repeating this story, giving endless reasons why his pizza was perfect, and not listening at all to my (polite!) feedback. We will never eat here again. No apology, no complimentary drink — just the full bill pushed under my nose. Unbelievable. Such a shame for the nice Camping Wien! Edit: the chief/owner gave a quick feedback on my review. Unbelievable to read that he still is defending it. It is truly regrettable to read that the chef/owner still blames everyone and everything for the issues instead of learning from the criticism and doing something constructive about it (see other reviews as well). The pizza, which arrived an hour late, was still half dough inside and not properly heated through — disgusting, likely rushed because they had forgotten my order three times. Mistakes happen, and I can forgive that easily. But to not asking for something to drink, to completely ignore me (perhaps out of embarrassment?), to flat out tell me I have no good taste in pizzas and that I’m only used to tourist pizzas (without actually listening), and now even to lie about having offered a drink — oh dear, that’s not how a good hospitality professional behaves. (To be precise, he only offered a drink after I protested and paid in full, despite me saying three times that I always write reviews.) He’d do better to listen instead of constantly talking over me. And when I walked out, that was the end for me.

11/08/2025: Pizza is very good and the price is reasonable. The coperto is still reasonable at €2. Visited three times, had a leisurely meal there with the kids. Each time, the service was good and relaxed, the drinks were cold, and the food was excellent. It's true, though, that the dishes arrive "at different times," if that's important.

21/08/2025: We went to the restaurant, ate outside while it was raining, but we were sheltered by the awning, and it was pleasant. The fish dinner was delicious, with grilled and fried fish. The waiter was very kind and attentive to our requests.

19/08/2025: Currently the best restaurant in Peschiera del Garda for me. The service is delightful, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. All the pasta is fresh, and the fusilli (very similar to Sicilian busiate) with clams were amazing. The lavaret was also excellent!

10/08/2025: A pleasant and welcome discovery, a restaurant that makes the simplicity of its menu its strong point. The risotto alla pilota with ribs (the latter are EXTRAORDINARY) is excellent, as is the tagliata. All this at a truly reasonable price. One of the best restaurants I know for quality/price ratio!
