We were rudely called out by a group of arrogant people because the kids were making noise. The staff didn't intervene, which left us very disappointed. If you're a family with children, go elsewhere!

09/12/2025: American-style is a word that gives you a sense of what you're getting, but writing "restaurant" in Italy is a serious matter. Clearly frozen pizza, a white pizza with mozzarella and mushrooms costs €11 + 10% VAT..... Some sort of ground meat with a few spices isn't called chili, a boiled potato and two leaves of plain lettuce, with two types of piadinas on the side, €19.80 + 10%. Cost €2.50, clearly watered-down beer €6.20. It's like spending €35 on a terrible meal. The good news is that the service is fast and organized.

10/11/2025: Having returned after many years, I stand by my review below and post a photo of the menu I found at the end of October 2025. I had dinner with my family, the food was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They serve a welcome appetizer of polenta and a delicious cheese fondue. We accompanied it with a selection of cold cuts and cheeses as an appetizer. My eldest son and I had venison fettuccine and mountain gnocchi, and my wife had whole-wheat pasta with porcini mushrooms and chestnuts. We were full, so we ordered two desserts. Everything was truly delicious... For four of us, without wine, we had two appetizers, four first courses, and two desserts plus water, totaling €54. Very reasonable! We'll be back often. We haven't been for a few years because they're often full. It's best to book in the evening.

10/11/2025: After a sadly challenging period, I decided to take my wife out for dinner, also for a carefree evening. The restaurant I chose at random was perfect not only for the quality of the food and the cleanliness and beauty of the place, but also for the kindness of the waitress, as well as the exquisite and empathetic service of the owner, who checked on the customers' satisfaction, exchanging a few words during the waiting times. All of this contributed to making this convivial moment for my wife and I peaceful and pleasant, just as I had hoped. I recommend this restaurant to everyone 😉👍

30/11/2025: We stopped for aperitifs at the modest price of €6 each, with two chips and other drinks, and were kicked out for trying to eat our sandwich, which was a bad thing. At 12 p.m., the only customers, outside in the cold.

13/11/2025: We only stopped by for a cappuccino and a cornetti, but enjoyed the lovely, quiet market square away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel makes a great impression.

25/11/2025: Borgo Antico, the restaurant at the Villa Quaranta hotel, was the icing on the cake of our stay in Verona. We dined there and... what can I say? We truly felt at home, pampered by a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with irresistible aromas. The Amarone risotto was simply a masterpiece: creamy, enveloping, the kind that makes you smile immediately when you taste it because you know you're tasting something special. The Chateaubriand, then... oh my! Tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection. It's truly difficult to describe how delicious those dishes were: mouth-watering, and so was the plate, without shame. Of course, it was all accompanied by an excellent Tommasi wine, the perfect way to end our stay at the villa. A toast that exuded quality, care, and tradition. In short: a top-notch dinner, incredible dishes, and an atmosphere that makes you feel good from start to finish. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: Ambiente suggestivo, coniuga tradizione e lusso, unica pecca a mio avviso la troppa vicinanza tra i tavoli. Servizio di sala eccellente. Cibo di altissima qualità, veramente ottimo, bagnato da un vino del territorio favoloso, scelto non dalla "carta" dei vini ma dall'enciclopedia dei vini!!! Mai visto un documento tanto fornito. Un plauso all'amore e alla dedizione per il prodotto!

02/12/2025: Exceptional! Very friendly service, reasonable wait times given that each dish is freshly prepared. We ordered an appetizer to share, which was really good, and three other dishes were truly excellent. The black rice pudding with coconut milk and mango was AMAZING! Prices in line with the quality. Highly recommended!

09/08/2025: We ate there because we really liked the ambiance of the small courtyard. The restaurant isn't that big (about 8 tables in the courtyard), so it's very cozy, not loud, and not crowded. We had the pasta with arugula pesto and the tagliatelle Bolognese. Both dishes were delicious. The service was very friendly, and we immediately felt at home. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right here. A friendly atmosphere and delicious food. What more could you want? I can recommend it with a clear conscience.
