09/08/2025: We ate there because we really liked the ambiance of the small courtyard. The restaurant isn't that big (about 8 tables in the courtyard), so it's very cozy, not loud, and not crowded. We had the pasta with arugula pesto and the tagliatelle Bolognese. Both dishes were delicious. The service was very friendly, and we immediately felt at home. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right here. A friendly atmosphere and delicious food. What more could you want? I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

05/10/2025: While strolling around, we got the urge to grab a drink, and it was a great choice. A trendy spot for college students, vintage young people, forty-somethings (like us) hanging out with the young crowd, a diverse crowd in a small but pleasant space. Good music, too. Good price for the quality of the product... at least for our selection. The best Negroni I've had in Italy. We sat down for a quick drink, and ended up having three.

08/09/2025: The wait was a bit long, about 30 minutes for a focaccia with an aperitivo, but we'd already finished our drinks. The atmosphere was decent, the prices a bit high. The food quality was good, but the amount of toppings on the focaccia was really lacking. Overall, I think it needs improvement!

03/09/2025: The prices were too high, even though they were quite good. The waiters seemed uninterested. The place, being on the highway, was very noisy, and some kids at the next table kept yelling.

20/09/2025: This is a beautiful restaurant with luscious garden, nice views and the overall atmosphere was great. The food was a bit of a mix of great and average: antipasto was amazing, main meal very average for all of us, but the soufflé at the end was just perfect. However, the major turn off was one particular waiter with snobby, pretentious demeanor and a dismissive attitude. It felt like he was doing us a favour by letting us sit at his table. We asked a simple question able the menu and he just answered coldly and walked off. Not sure if he’s related to the owners but he’s certainly not great for the business. I also spoke in English to him as my children do not speak Italian but he constantly answered in Italian. It was a huge let down that ruined our evening and I regret not walking out. Worthy of the mention are also chipped water glasses. Not very safe for use and not what you’d expect of such an upscale restaurant.

30/09/2025: The food is delicious, healthy, lot of choice, made with fresh ingredients and love. We tried the buffet at lunch and had a delicious chocolat cream cake for dessert. The place is right in the center and prices are very reasonable! We also had a cappuccino but that was not our taste. It may have been the plant based milk but for us a real Italian cappuccino is the best.

30/10/2025: Incredibly nice and warm people. Good coffee and great croissant. Prices are a steal and very much worth the price. Very recommendable.

22/09/2025: We visited this fine restaurant as part of a wedding and were completely captivated by the ambiance. Fine dining in a former stately home, now the Hotel Villa dei Cedri, which also includes Villa Moscardo. The food was good, albeit somewhat carelessly presented. We'd have to come back sometime to try the menu. The service was very attentive.

The staff were not just welcoming; they were absolutely amazing and professional, adding an extra sparkle to my special day. It truly felt like a celebration like no other!

23/08/2025: During a thunderstorm in Campofontana, tired of getting wet, we headed to Giazza for pizza. We'd reserved a half-hour in advance by phone. Once there, we descended the beautiful steps nestled in the landscape to reach Pizzeria Cimbra. It was moderately crowded, but there was plenty of seating outside under the portico. We ordered two pizzas, a drink, and a dessert. Everything was delicious. I recommend trying it at least once, both for the restaurant, which was once an Austro-Hungarian inn, and for the village, which, though small, is very quaint.
