That time, my friend, now a chef at this place, offered me a luxury snack: a pizza. It's a great thing to have found excellent teachers like I have, who provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge, because the world is full of wonderful books, and just having read and understood a few is already a lot. I was passing by and stopped for some fritters. I opted for the cream-filled ones, but there were also the classic ones with raisins and the special ones with "maresina" herbs. I have to say, they were delicious. Excellent value, too. The owner welcomed me with kindness and friendliness (unfortunately, not a given in all places anymore). I took a photo at the end of the tray 🤣; we were totally hooked.
