We're from Lecce and dined here for the first time during the off-season (May). We found the atmosphere to be refined and welcoming, thanks in large part to the owners, who made sure to welcome us with a smile and a friendly atmosphere right from the start. Once we'd chosen a table, we immediately sampled the appetizers, sampling the fig bread with pastrami: it exceeded our expectations, both in terms of presentation and flavor. This was followed by a delicious polenta concia with sausage; again, they accommodated our needs by offering us the option of choosing an off-menu option. To further confirm the place's conviviality, we stopped to chat with the owners after dinner.

The welcome was excellent, the rooms were clean and tidy. The restaurant, with its large garden and outdoor seating, was truly top-notch.

We came in late for our lunch. But the owner and chef took care of us with gorgeous food and wine. We felt being looking after as a family member. Especially the chef who is super friendly and communicated with us in English! Absolutely recommended for all the people who visit the area ❤️

We had dinner last night with friends and family. The food was excellent, and the service was great. We had special snails with butter and herbs, puntarelle with burrata, moretta with cheese, wild boar mortadella, parmigiana, mushroom risotto, and tortellini al plin in ramen broth.

We came late on a Sunday afternoon and the owner was cleaning up after a busy lunch. With a smile and friendly conversation she made us the best hot chocolate I’ve had in a long time. If I am in the area I again I would not hesitate to come by for lunch. I do not know what the rooms are like.

My partner and I happened upon this place last weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of this place and these people. The hospitality and service of times gone by, the attention to detail, and above all, so much love, were evident in every bite of everything we ate! We tried a magnificent Valdostana soup, followed by polenta concia with sausage and wild boar, all washed down with a Pinot Noir. These places and their beauty must be protected!
