A typical mountain restaurant, meticulously maintained and with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The dining room is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a quiet dinner after a day on the slopes or a hike.
The cuisine is top-notch, featuring traditional Aosta Valley dishes prepared with great care. Quality ingredients, bold flavors, and meticulous presentation are evident. Careful attention to detail is evident in the ingredients and cooking methods.
The service is professional and attentive. Prices are in line with the restaurant's quality and the area. A place where you can eat truly well and enjoy a complete experience.
This season (March), they also organize a snowshoe hike under the stars with dinner included for €100, a truly interesting experience.

Title: Excellence and Authenticity in Val Ferret
In a world where form often doesn't match content, La Clotze Restaurant is a splendid exception. Located in the magical setting of Val Ferret, it welcomes guests into an intimate and refined atmosphere.
The service is impeccable: discreet and decisive, its professionalism reminiscent of Wodehouse's famous Jeeves. The Cardoon Flan with Bagna Cauda (correctly spelled in Piedmontese) is noteworthy, a delicious and generous dish that eschews the usual Lilliputian portions.
The polenta (with Bleu d'Aoste and Fontina), served in surprisingly spacious copper casseroles, is expertly prepared, lump-free and rich in flavor. It pairs excellently with the stew of the day, and the Crème Brûlée and house mint elixir are a perfect finish.
Here, quality is not an optical illusion, but the fruit of serious culinary experience. Fair and honest value for money. A must-see outpost of Aosta Valley tradition.

The best meal I’ve ever had. From the foie gras to the mushroom soup and the blue cheese gnocchi, every bite felt warm, rich, and perfectly balanced. The flavors were deep without being heavy, and each dish was clearly made with real care and attention to detail. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every course.
Meals like this are rare. The kind where you slow down, savor every bite, and leave already thinking about when you can come back. Truly exceptional.
