14/10/2025: The place is nice, with outdoor seating, friendly service with relaxed times, good aperitifs served with some chips, high prices even out of season

17/09/2025: Unfortunately, it's absolutely not what you'd expect from a café or bar in this area. Outside, there's a sign reading: "Pizza 8-11€." When we sat down and the menu was brought to us, we learned that they didn't serve any pizza at all. There were only two or three of the various paninis available. There was also a daily special, from which we ordered both carbonara and pumpkin soup (with crispy bacon). For €14 each, we got two small glasses full of food. Unfortunately, there was no bacon in the soup. If you're just looking for a drink, you might be okay coming here. Definitely not for the dishes, though.

20/08/2025: A very traditional, family-run place. Mrs. Maria made us feel right at home. We visited on an off-season weekend, so on our second night, we were the only ones seated, and Mrs. Maria was incredibly kind. We ate spectacular dumplings; the ones with speck were my favorite, but the ones in veal broth were also delicious. The prices were more than fair, and the portions were generous. It's become a must-try.

20/09/2025: We spontaneously stayed here overnight on our trip and were absolutely thrilled. It's beautifully situated, surrounded by fields of apple trees, and we had a lovely view of the mountains. The room and bathroom were quite large and very nice. We were greeted with fresh apple juice, which was very good. In the evening, we enjoyed a fantastic four-course meal for just €35 per person, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was freshly prepared and reflected the regional cuisine. It was truly a treat. Breakfast was also excellent, with regional dishes and a very plentiful selection. They also offered the wonderful apple juice again. The hosts were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, they only spoke Italian and French, but they tried very hard. They still managed a few words of English and German, and we were able to communicate well. We would come back anytime and stay a few days longer.

05/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel nestled in the apple orchards on the mountain. The building is a lovingly restored farmhouse that has retained its original character while still feeling very cozy. Our holiday apartment was spacious, with separate bedrooms and a living and dining area – perfect for a relaxing stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, which immediately made us feel welcome. The culinary highlight was the dinner, prepared personally by the chef. For just €35 per person, we received a delicious four-course meal: For starters, a generous ham, salami, and cheese platter with fresh bread and salad, followed by homemade spinach gnocchi. The main course was a succulent stuffed roast pork with carrots and potatoes, and finished with delicious ice cream. A particularly positive aspect: There was no charge for water, and the bottle of excellent wine was only €15. So, truly unbeatable value! Breakfast the next morning was also a delight. Everything was served fresh at the table, from savory to sweet dishes – and as a special highlight, there was freshly pressed apple juice made from the farm's own apples. One minor drawback was the language barrier, as neither German nor English was spoken, only Italian and French. However, with a little gesture and good humor, we were still able to communicate without any problems. All in all, it was a fantastic stay: homely, warm, authentic, and excellent value for money. We would come back anytime!

19/10/2025: The atmosphere is beautiful both inside and out, but above all, the food is delicious!! Perhaps a small play area for children is missing, which is always a plus...

18/10/2025: A truly disappointing dinner at Galloway. The meat was expensive but of poor quality: tough, chewy, and anything but tasty. I asked for it to be medium rare, but it arrived practically raw. The staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional, with no attention to the customer whatsoever. Considering the prices and level of service, this place gives the impression of focusing only on the name, not on quality. I certainly won't be returning, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

28/09/2025: Nestled in the park on the lakeside, the restaurant offers no service at all, as they don't offer table service and you have to clear the table yourself.

28/08/2025: Having discovered Hotel La Fontanella by chance while passing through, it has become a point of reference for my beloved getaway in the Dolomites. Courtesy, professionalism, discretion, and efficiency are the ingredients for a perfect stay in the breathtaking setting of the Brenta Dolomites. But it's the empathy and love of the Bonapace family that remain in my heart. They are the true, precious guardians of our paradise. Thank you. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Doctor Fede

28/08/2025: The hotel is in an excellent location, at the edge of town, near the roundabout that leads onto the provincial road that runs through Val di Sole. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is kind and friendly, and the breakfasts are quite comprehensive. There is ample parking behind the hotel and it also has an on-site restaurant (which I didn't try, however, because I was having dinner in a nearby town). The prices, in my opinion, are very reasonable for the quality of service. Recommended
