29/07/2025: Lovely food, pleasant service. We had an exciting bruschetta with avocado and white fish and truffle, as well as a delicious pasta dish. The wine was good and the sunset beautiful. Five out of five stars.

13/10/2025: The dishes are beautifully crafted and extremely tasty. The friendly and helpful staff contribute to a high-quality dining experience. The fried rabbit and ragù, in particular, were exceptional, as was the appetizer.

22/09/2025: I've known it for years and have been coming here for a long time. The food is good and the service is good, but the waitress was rather distracted tonight. We asked for burgers with the burger bun on the side, and she brought us regular bread. We asked for a portion of cantuccini, and she only brought us one. I'm always a thank you person, but tonight, given the girl's attitude, I left without thanking her. Out of politeness, I'm used to saying thank you and "please" with every request, and we received only superficial remarks.

07/11/2025: I stopped near the train station for a bite to eat and ended up at a pizzeria frequented by locals. The pizzas were freshly baked and smelled delicious, but the staff weren't very friendly, and the service charge wasn't cheap.

04/07/2025: Small restaurant mainly seafood, beautiful rooms, kind and prepared service, truly excellent food and prices in line with the quality (very good) of the dishes. For 2 of us we ate (all seafood) 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 2 moscatos, 2 coffees for a cost of €130, discounted to €115. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, our Psyco Gangster Fun Club found a home at Controcorrente Restaurant, where the food isn't just delicious... it's an experience that embraces you! ❤️ Precise dishes, authentic flavors, and a heart-warming welcome—all topped off with laughter and that cheerful madness that distinguishes us! 02/10/2025: After two excellent experiences, it fully deserves five stars. The atmosphere is informal yet refined and welcoming, with the colors and aromas of home. Meat dishes, as per Tuscan tradition, compliments to the chef and all the staff. We'll be back again.

10/11/2025: A spacious restaurant in Ponsacco on a side street. The atmosphere is beautiful and refined. The open grill is lovely in the middle of the dining room. The menu offers a wide selection of meat and fish. The meat is very good, tender and flavorful. The roast potatoes are also good, which is not always the case. I'd say the house wine is also excellent. The price is good value. I've been there for lunch before, but the atmosphere in the evening, when the restaurant is full, is something else entirely. Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: Returning from a Sunday outing, some friends and I stopped specifically for dinner at Ristorante Ariete, where I'd had lunch for the first time a couple of months earlier. The place is very large and spacious, which encourages conversation at the table: there were five of us, and no one had to raise their voices to be heard. The menu offers both land and sea dishes: almost all of us opted for seafood first courses and fried fish to share. We also enjoyed dessert and coffee. Generous portions, excellent flavors, quick and courteous service, and a price that was reasonable for the amount of food we ate (and we were satisfied). If I didn't recommend it, I'd be crazy...

14/06/2025: É la terza volta che ci vado e ogni volta usciamo molto soddisfatti. La cuoca giapponese cucina un ottimo ramen con ingredienti selezionati e continue varietà. Aperto solo la sera perché la preparazione del brodo richiede mezza giornata, pochi tavoli ed atmosfera raccolta. Il personale, molto gentile, spiega accuratamente i piatti e da buoni consigli. Locale piccolo e richiesto, si consiglia di prenotare con anticipo.

07/05/2025: Vengo da Perugia (3:30h) per godermi il ramen di questo fantastico locale. Dai japas, ai dolci, tutto il menú è piú che strepitoso. Odori e sapori autentici della cucina giapponese senza polverine magiche o solventi chimici: puro umami estratto da ingredienti di primissima qualità e composti in maniera eccelsa. Menzione d'onore agli olii e le componenti piccanti che veramente danno un bel calore al piatto senza trasformarsi in torture di capsaicina.

26/10/2025: A pit stop on our way back north in this super cute village. The lady at the B&B recommended this restaurant, which was about a 10-minute walk from the village center. The atmosphere is very retro, yet very welcoming. The service was quick and the staff were kind and courteous. The food was delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

09/10/2025: I honestly wish I could give this place 6 STARS, this was honestly the best pizza I have ever tasted IN MY LIFE. The vibes are rustic and homemade, the dishes and glasses are traditional and beautiful. (they play MJ too so that's a plus! 😅) It's a small narrow place but it fits perfectly. It's nested inside a small square and it is a HIDDEN GEM! PLEASEEE COME HERE IF YOU ARE IN PISA YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

07/10/2025: A place with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, where you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The service was friendly and approachable throughout. The food is of superior quality, especially for the price, and the work that goes into each dish is evident. The carbonara pizza is out of this world; I was eating real carbonara, not what we're usually sold. For dessert, a soft and fluffy babà was spectacular to round off the meal with a coffee. The love is evident in every detail. Without a doubt, a place I'd return to and recommend without a second thought 🍕☕✨
