10/05/2025: Este es un restaurante absolutamente especial con una personalidad muy clara, no dirigido a los turistas, ya que el menú no cuenta con todos los platos típicos de la Toscana que uno encuentra en otros lugares de las ciudades turísticas. La comida es excepcional, preparada con ingredientes excepcionales y con un fuerte enfoque en verduras de temporada (como vegetariano, a menudo me resulta difícil pedir en la mayoría de los restaurantes, especialmente en la Toscana y Piamonte y Lombardía, pero este restaurante tenía seis platos que fácilmente podía pedir muy feliz). La familia cultiva sus propias verduras, y la frescura es palpable en cada uno de los platos. También hornean su propio pan de masa madre y focaccia, ambos deliciosos. Teníamos cinco platos, de los cuales nuestros dos favoritos eran la cecina (una tortita de harina de garbanzos como farinata y socca) cubierta con casa - calabaza en conserva y patatas ahumadas y verduras para bebés, y tagliolini fresco con espárragos y crema de Parmigiano. Los propietarios Fabio y Tatiana son excepcionalmente amables y hospitalarios y su bulldog francés Maya es realmente adorable. ¡Vale la pena parar!

Servizio gentile e preciso, la carta dei vini ben studiata e ben gestita dalla sommelier. Costo adeguato alle capacità della cucina

13/11/2025: I'll start by saying that I took the photos a little poorly because we were quite hungry and wanted to be quick, since the owners were kind enough to seat us even though they were closing. This traditional trattoria is family-run, welcoming, and has very kind and friendly staff. Valentina, with whom we also had a pleasant chat, helped us choose our dishes. She's a very kind, friendly, and passionate person. But let's get to the point. The food is excellent. We ordered two braised meats, which were extremely flavorful and tender, delicious; an excellent rabbit (I would have ordered another), delicious baked zucchini, spinach, and potatoes. To drink, we ordered two large waters and two coffees, very well made! Despite the simplicity of the dishes, we were very satisfied and will definitely return on our future trips to Tuscany.

16/10/2025: Now a regular stop at least twice a week, the pizza is really good and tasty, as are the pasticciotti, the soft focaccia. The prices are more than fair and the pizza slices are generous, with two pieces you get three to be a bit generous and the owners are very kind and friendly.

31/08/2025: Positive experience with the food, nothing to complain about. Both the starters and the meat were good. To be honest, I didn't like the coffee, it seemed like it was made with a moka pot, and then the tap water, which you have to pay for, I don't like. So 4 stars for the food, 3 for everything else, I recommend it anyway.

05/08/2025: A restaurant worthy of the beauty and history of Vicopisano. The menu is traditional Tuscan, but with some reinterpretations that demonstrate the chef's skill in pairing ingredients. I recommend the meats and the Maremma carbonara, proudly claimed as the mother of the Roman carbonara. Try it and believe it.

04/08/2025: I've always had a good experience, but even if you say it's open, no one answers. I've tried several times. Holidays are a must, but update your hours.

04/10/2025: Service was mediocre. My wife did receive the meal she ordered and it was good but I got something I did not order. The wine they served my wife was undrinkable and I was completely ignored when I tried to complain (in English and Italian); the waiter just looked at me and saud nothing.

28/09/2025: Food was edible, but risotto was a rice dish, not creamy risotto cooked like risotto. Sliced beef was tough.

23/09/2025: The place would be nice from a structural standpoint. We were unlucky to go on a Sunday evening and be the only customers, which made it seem a bit unwelcome. But it's not unlucky that they didn't have beer (a broken keg, but there wasn't any in the bottle either). We ordered meat with asparagus, but the asparagus was missing. The appetizer was reheated and dry, and three slices of cured meats. For dessert, only one, plus the biscotti. The prices didn't match the quality offered. A disappointment.

27/10/2025: The restaurant delivers excellent food with a strong price-to-value ratio. A reservation is essential due to predictable crowding. The house wine was a solid choice and rounded out the overall experience.
