Trattoria Da Michele In Pisa

Trattoria da Michele was a wonderful discovery during my visit to Pisa. Arriving late from out of town, we were relieved to find this welcoming spot open for lunch near the Pisa Centrale station. The service was excellent, and the lasagna was absolutely delicious. Its location is incredibly convenient for travelers, just a short walk from the train station and equally close to the Leaning Tower. While I may not be returning to Pisa anytime soon, I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

Nice place, very welcoming staff. We enjoyed a small complimentary appetizer. The risotto was very generous. It's a shame that the Tuscan Florentine steak weighed over 1kg, but the actual weight wasn't even close. Even comparing it to a nearby table, where they'd first served the steak raw and only later cooked it, you could see the huge difference. Something they didn't do for us... luckily The Fork saved us a lot of money.

The food was excellent. We had appetizers, which were delicious, as were the first and second courses. The products were good and reasonably priced. The problem was that with a very small baby, there was neither a changing table nor enough room in the bathroom to move around. I think that in a heavily touristed city like Pisa, having facilities for children would be a good thing. The bathroom was very small and cramped, with no facilities for little ones. The staff was friendly, and the young woman who served us was very kind, but the service was decidedly slow, considering we had appetizers with mixed cold cuts, pizzas, and first courses—all of which are cooked quickly—but between the appetizer and the first course, it took over an hour and a half. Furthermore, there is no ramp or wheelchair access, but three rather high and uncomfortable steps to access the restaurant.

Restaurant located near the train station, the food is of good quality and the service is fast.

We had pizza. It was SO GOOD. And it was cheap. Really nice people and nice atmosphere. And the meny was really, how do you say, beautiful 😍

We arrived a bit late in Pisa and we were so delighted to find this restaurant. Lovely girl serving us, very attentive and the seafood pasta was delicious. Cute place so highly recommend 👌

Amazing food, excellent service and very accommodating and welcoming for familie(thanks Alesia!), the steak was exceptional as was the homemade Ragu. Was a great find being close to the train station

The place isn't very big, but the staff is friendly. Excellent food.
