We often come here for lunch because it's convenient. The bread alone is worth it; it's made by them, and for me, it's the best I've ever had. They always bring it to you piping hot. The lunch menu is very affordable, despite the quality being MUCH higher than the price. The menu always offers a wide selection (kudos to the chef for his creativity and variety). I've tried several dishes and have never been disappointed; the portions are generous and the food is high-quality. The waitress is always super nice to us; she's even learned our tastes. Highly recommended!!

First course, second course, side dish, all of more than acceptable quality, water and coffee all served at a well-laid table with a tablecloth and cloth napkin, express dishes with condiments on the table available until the end of the meal... all for only €15... I don't think there's any need to add anything else... in any fast-food restaurant with this amount I would have eaten a sandwich and a drink... maybe

Welcoming place, excellent cuisine. I ate delicious fish and my friends had an equally good pizza. The service is excellent and the staff is very kind. Recommended!

A wonderful place! We stopped in on the road not expecting anything amazing. The pizza was so delicious that we didn't eat anything that topped the taste of this place for the rest of our several-day trip! Fingers crossed we'll be back!

High quality and fair prices...the staff is courteous and professional...there are some small things that could be improved in the structure (furnishings and bathroom doors)...we will gladly return again...for another good meal.

04/04/2026: It was a truly fantastic meal. The whole family was delighted with the quality of the food. The waiters were also very friendly and welcoming, explaining all the restaurant's specialties. The menu includes typical dishes not found elsewhere. The sweet and spicy wild boar was superb!! We highly recommend it!!!
02/04/2026: I was out with my girlfriend, riding my motorcycle, and we chose this place to eat because it was close to where we'd parked our bike. The place is very welcoming, with an old-fashioned style that fits in well with the town. The waiter was very kind in explaining the tavern's typical and unique dishes and wines, which are what we ordered, and we didn't regret it. Terrine as an appetizer, along with fried artichokes, followed by Etruscan-style pici and sweet and sour wild boar—unusual dishes that absolutely must be tried. If you're passing through Volterra, I recommend stopping by. Since it's a unique menu, it's a little more expensive than usual, but that's to be expected, and it's worth it.
