03/08/2025: Saturday evening, dinner for two, we ordered two special focaccias, a Coke, and water. We spent a fair amount compared to the specialty items, including goose and venison prosciutto. The dough was good, digestible, and very light, perhaps a little burnt, but overall good. A truly negative aspect of this place is the service. We politely asked if we could at least order a drink (since it's August 2nd and it's good practice to serve drinks) and were rudely told no because they only took orders as the tables arrived (with a gesture to go along with it). If it hadn't been for another waitress who kindly convinced us to stay, we would have left. 1. It's not a festival, but a restaurant; I'd like to remind the waitress of that. 2. I understand their dining room setup, but there's no need to tell the customer, and it's possible to respond more politely. I suggest: "Sure, I'll be right there. In the meantime, what can I get you to drink?" (15 minutes saved) or: "Yes, I'll send the head waiter." It's a real shame, but this rudeness really hurts the restaurant.

11/08/2025: I was here on Sunday, August 10th for my in-laws' 50th anniversary. It was a truly beautiful day with very good food. Unfortunately, the heat didn't help... but it's the middle of summer. Hi Maurizio

25/08/2025: An evening with ups and downs. We arrived without a reservation, and unfortunately, the wait between ordering and the arrival of the dishes was quite long, which detracted from the overall experience. The platter was a pleasant surprise: rich, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The pizzas, however, left mixed impressions. The whole wheat pizza stood out for its excellent dough, while the classic version was too chewy and unpleasant. The tiramisu, finally, was a bit disappointing: the cream was good but abundant, and the lack of sponge cake and coffee made the dessert unbalanced and a bit cloying. Overall, there are some interesting ideas, but the experience could be improved with a little more attention to service timing and the balance of the dishes.

16/08/2025: We're on a trip and decided to pull off the highway to stop for dinner somewhere. Seeing this lively place, we decided to stop. And it was a good decision. The prices were pretty good. And the food was delicious, both the pasta and the pizza, and, of course, the tiramisu. The service was 10/10.

14/07/2025: Excellent food! Don't be fooled by appearances... The street-facing entrance—perhaps not overly inviting—certainly doesn't give you an idea of the wonderful view and welcoming atmosphere inside this delightful trattoria. Authentic, quality cuisine.

26/08/2025: A true Lunigiana restaurant in the small village of Tassonarla, nestled in the greenery on the first hill. This family-run trattoria has been run by the same family for years, now led by the friendly and helpful Marco. The food is truly delicious, featuring typical local dishes and some excellent reinterpretations. The mixed antipasto would be worth a visit: savory pies, beans with sausage, and excellent sgabei (fried gnocchi) with cured meats and other specialties. The homemade first courses are delicious, especially the ravioli with meat sauce. Given the availability of mushrooms, we had tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, fried mushrooms, and rabbit—all spectacular. The bill is honestly incredible these days. Bravo!

25/08/2025: We found this place while on vacation and after reading the many positive reviews we decided to stop. Excellent appetizers, from crostini to cured meats, and delicious first courses, tagliolini with mushrooms and ravioli with ragù. Congratulations.

11/08/2025: You think it's an inn, but the place is actually very nice, new, and clean. Here you can try panigacci, made with flour and water, usually baked in the oven, and served with cured meats and cheeses. I tried them boiled with pesto or red wine sauce, which were delicious. The desserts and meat dishes are also good. The service is very friendly and fast, and the prices are fair. It's definitely worth a try.

03/08/2025: Courtesy and kindness. Excellent pizzas in all aspects. I would definitely recommend it to friends, relatives and acquaintances. In short, it is a place where the customer is pampered.

19/08/2025: We finally got the fried anchovies that my husband loves so much. The owner's very nice daughter speaks German, which helped us with our orders and our requests. But English is also spoken here! 😀The food was wonderful, and we highly recommend the restaurant. The view at sunset is fantastic.

12/08/2025: Summer lunch with friends: A very balanced menu with both starters and main courses. Dishes are beautifully presented and very well balanced between the various combinations. Excellent hospitality and service, all in a very charming and intimate setting. We'll be back.
