09/07/2026: I've never written a review so quickly after a dining experience, but this place truly deserves it. We just dined at this traditional restaurant in the heart of Carrara, and I highly recommend it for its truly excellent traditional dishes and very friendly and accommodating staff.
I won't add anything else and will let the photos speak for themselves.

Top-notch, classy, and professional service.
All the food is delicious; the traditional menu is simple, but you can taste the excellent quality of the ingredients and the chef's skill.
07/06/2026: We went to dinner at this beautiful restaurant, drawn by the excellent reviews we found online. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, with an open kitchen. The staff was cheerful, professional, and friendly. We even had the opportunity to chat with the chef, who came around to make sure everything was to our liking at the end of the meal. We chose the tasting menu, which included three entrees, two first courses, and one second course. It was all paired with a good bottle of local wine recommended by Gerente. Everything was truly excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our 5-year-old daughter was also with us; the kitchen had no problem whipping up a plate of pasta with pesto.

12/05/2026: Amazing Steakhouse Restaurant! We had dinner at this restaurant on Sunday evening. We were in Carrara for the Animosi Theater light show. We had a wonderful time. The waitress was very kind and patient. She explained the entire menu to us (they only use products selected from small producers that aren't usually found commercially) and also advised us on the wine selection. She was excellent and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is warm and informal. We'll definitely be back. It was a lovely surprise, thank you.
12/05/2026: Dinner with friends at Christmas, we ate some delicious Chianina tartare, and the Red steak, for those who like a marbled steak it is the best, the pairing with the wine was very successful, I recommend this steakhouse to everyone, knowledgeable and friendly staff

15/05/2026: Excellent restaurant for dinners with friends and family. We had fish and wine, everything delicious and very fresh. The restaurant is also suitable for first communions and birthday parties; they have a lovely outdoor garden with a private room. There's also a large parking lot underneath the restaurant. Prices were in line with expectations; we paid €50 per person; considering the food we had, I'd say it's fine.

The interior is also very charming, surrounded by nature.
Very friendly staff.
Excellent food; we ordered the vegetarian platter (perfect for vegans too) and we really enjoyed everything.
Perfect focaccia, lovely, crispy, and light.
Excellent desserts.

The platters are good, but not excellent.
If it weren't for the road, I'd go every weekend.

20/12/2025: The best lard shop in Colonnata. Mario (the owner) and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. When I go to stock up on lard to take back to Rome, I always stop by for lunch with their wonderful mixed platters and hot sgabei (delicious).
I recommend it 100%.

11/03/2026: A pizzeria by the slice in the historic center of Carrara that's truly worth a visit. The pizza is excellent, and the piping hot pizza is special: not too thick, perfectly crispy, and incredibly flavorful. The focaccia is also excellent.
The small dining room in front of the restaurant is a popular spot, perfect for sitting down and enjoying everything at your leisure. A simple yet high-quality place, ideal for a quick snack or a tasty break in the center.
