07/09/2025: I went a year ago with friends who recommended it, and I have to say they were very positive about all the courses, from appetizers to main courses. This time, the only flaw was the first courses, which weren't up to par with last year. Otherwise, everything was fine!

03/07/2025: I was extremely satisfied with having chosen to celebrate my birthday at Porfirio: two rooms reserved only for my guests, a rich buffet set up, two different first courses and savory crepes made on the spot... all accompanied by a wide choice of cocktails, from the most classic to the most particular and innovative! An even better experience thanks to the karaoke that kept us entertained all evening!! I was so satisfied with the experience that now for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks I only go to Porfirio where the two bartenders Luca and Tommaso always manage to amaze me with new and particular cocktails!

01/10/2025: It was a very positive experience during a pleasant motorcycle ride with friends in the Lunigiana/Garfagnana Apennines. We were welcomed, hosted, and generously fed with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Cristina and her husband. I will gladly return and recommend it to anyone interested.

20/09/2025: I think it is the best bakery in Carrara, as well as being historic, it bakes focaccia, bread, traditional focaccia in a wonderful way, the service staff behind the counter are very kind and I would add that in Carrara there are other excellent bakeries as per tradition, but Forno Dazzi is the most...... 20/08/2025: Very kind lady at the counter. Delicious pizzas. We had two white pan pizzas, one with potatoes and one with perfectly crunchy peppers, and a soft focaccia/bread. The desserts were delicious just looking at them. She also gave us two little desserts. Very nice. We'll be back! Delicious!

01/10/2025: Intimate and rustic atmosphere. We had whole-wheat orecchiette with zucchini and sausage, tagliolini with anchovies, cherry tomatoes, capers, and olives, pork tenderloin with figs and almonds, and octopus all'inferno. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly.

30/09/2025: After visiting the fascinating and legendary Fosdinovo Castle, we had lunch at this lovely restaurant located opposite the castle entrance. The local dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was themed around the castle, with its arches and stonework.

27/08/2025: So much! Excellent dishes, from the fish soup to the marinara risotto, to the coffee. Unparalleled friendliness and excellent customer service. Outdoor seating in the back garden, with a relaxing garden. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: A restaurant that shines with its quality and friendly service, even though it's located on the main road. Beautiful terrace and well-kept interior. Extremely friendly service and delicious food. Our lack of language skills was compensated for by courtesy and genuine effort. We would gladly return anytime.

02/10/2025: We had a great dinner for three with my parents. We paired an excellent mushroom menu with a nice, reasonably priced bottle of white wine. The service, despite the crowd, was quick and efficient, and the final bill was more than fair.

27/09/2025: We had a wonderful Saturday evening. The fried mushrooms were exceptional, the chestnut fritters with ricotta were equally delicious, and the homemade taglioni with mushrooms and venison ragù were mouth-watering. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the waitresses were friendly, and the prices were more than fair. It just makes me want to come back!

07/09/2025: We ate here, finding it by chance. Excellent lunch of panigacci and cured meats. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back; we travel this route often.

06/09/2025: Panigacci are SUPER, the best in the entire area. My family and I enjoyed delicious products and TOP panigacci 😀. It's our must-stop on our way back from Tuscany. Locanda Magno always outdoes itself. THANK YOU so much. Quiet and easy to get to. A big THANK YOU and my compliments to the owners and all the staff. It's a shame we have to wait until we return again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😀

14/08/2025: Probably the best bar in town. Excellent spirit range, the owner (Mr Hermes) has so much passion and understanding of beverages with great attention to detail. Team are lovely too! Swang by every day once discovered. Wish I could take it home! Better Negroni than in Florence 😉
