30/06/2025: A truly beautiful experience in a clean and well-kept wine shop. The dishes are traditional local dishes, but refined. All are well cooked and served with courtesy towards the customer. The price is in line with what is offered and I consider it appropriate. The choice of wines is naturally wide and also suitable for enthusiasts. There is the possibility of choosing the tasting of some wines also by the glass. We had the opportunity to return and we were pleasantly satisfied with the second experience too. I recommend booking because the place is medium-small in size.

22/05/2025: The best place in Carrara without a doubt. Impeccable quality of raw materials and a vast selection of wines curated by the owner, you can't go wrong in this place.

20/07/2025: Finally, a review of the lunch. A super relaxing weekend. The property is meticulously maintained. We had a classic room with two windows and a wonderful view of the valley and the sea. The garden is beautifully kept, and the pool is a wonderful place to enjoy in solitude (since there are only four rooms, I don't think there's ever a crowd). The hot tub is also convenient. We appreciated the local products. We'll be back. As for the restaurant, we had lunch with friends. It was a well-deserved Michelin-starred lunch. Excellent value for the garden produce and delicious fish. The discovery of local products is appreciated, which sets it apart from other Michelin-starred establishments (where you could be anywhere). The dishes make you understand where you are. The chef, who comes to the tables to say hello and comment, is well done. The waiters were also attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a tasting of their non-alcoholic cocktails. A real treat.

07/07/2025: We had dinner on Saturday night, I correct myself, it wasn't a dinner, it was a fairy tale! In addition to the beautiful location with a fabulous view of the Magra valley and the sea in front, the place is very well-kept and finely furnished. We were pampered and spoiled by staff who were very attentive to our needs. We opted for the "Apuan Alps and Neptune's fingers" route, what can I say, an explosion of flavors with every course, a journey through the flavors of our region and neighboring Tuscany with a wine pairing that enhanced it even better. Truly a round of applause to the chef who managed to make us a fantastic evening with his creations.

25/05/2025: Era il mio posto preferito di quando ero una ragazzina pizze meravigliose stasera dopo tanti anni ho preso due pizze da asporto avrei voluto portargliele indietro dicendogli lei la mangerebbe questa pizza? Una prosciutto e funghi dove il crudo cattivo rancido e tagliato alto stiranchioso già brutta a vedersi .. Ma poi soprattutto l'impasto asciutto e secco solo ora sto leggendo le recensioni che hanno cambiato gestione Ecco il motivo e mi dispiace anche E comunque ho speso ben 21,50 per una capricciosa e una prosciutto e funghi per me finisce qua con il ricordo dei vecchi proprietari ..ragazzi un consiglio puntate sulla qualità dei prodotti perché si fa presto chiudere baracca

29/06/2025: There were 20 of us here for a stag party, all adults over 30. We had booked for 9:30 pm but, due to a major slowdown on the A11, we arrived at 10:15 pm, repeatedly notifying the restaurant of the delay. Unfortunately, the initial welcome was truly disappointing. The waitress (named Mimma) was immediately very rude, pointing out problems with everything: she told us that we couldn't order too many different dishes, that the barbecue couldn't be made for more than a certain number of people and that some fish dishes would take too long. She even said, in an inelegant way, that our order would no longer allow the kitchen to "go home". When it was time for dessert, she lost her patience and left, leaving the order half-finished. It must be said, she later apologized for her tone. Overall, however, the service was not suitable for managing a large group like ours: we would have expected greater professionalism and availability. We honestly can't say we were satisfied with the food either: the quality wasn't good, certainly not up to the price paid. In the end the bill was 1520 euros for the evening, with 6 bottles of Franciacorta and 4 of Vermentino. A shame, because a little more courtesy and attention would have been enough to transform the evening into a much more pleasant experience. I hope this review can help improve the service and organization for large groups in the future.

21/06/2025: Pretty good place, a little too expensive for the food, but that seems to be normal level for all touristic restaurants along the beach, if you search for better prices you should go to the city or to mountains. I have ordered a fish and was not very happy with it. Recommend to improve the dish, was pretty simple. All 3 other guests with me was satisfied with their dishes. Nevertheless the service was very good, very nice english and german-speaking waitress was serving us and was very friendly and helpful. 5/5 for service, 4/5 for the food.

14/07/2025: Excellent food! Don't be fooled by appearances... The street-facing entrance—perhaps not overly inviting—certainly doesn't give you an idea of the wonderful view and welcoming atmosphere inside this delightful trattoria. Authentic, quality cuisine.

27/06/2025: It was Grandpa's 71st birthday and probably had a minimal impact on the final judgment. Good Service: punctual and coordinated, quality/price ratio: inadequate, fresh pasta not arrived, spaghetti alla chitarra with tuna: "in broth", noisy environment. We trust in an improvement.

19/06/2025: SEASONAL WORMS? Last night I went to dinner at this restaurant, we were the only customers, nice and very quiet place, good service, TOO BAD ABOUT THE WORMS IN THE MUSHROOMS (local and house specialty), we had ordered a first course of taglioni with mushrooms and a first course of testaroli with pesto which, on the advice of the owner, I changed to testaroli with mushrooms... Shortly after starting to eat I noticed that there were small white worms on the plate, I immediately pointed this out to the lady who served us at the table and her justification was "they're fresh mushrooms, that's normal", I'm sure that during the cooking of both dishes whoever was in the kitchen noticed, it would have been nice if someone had come out and told us that the first courses wouldn't be coming out due to problem X. The two first courses were deducted from the bill, we paid €35 ​​for two starters as a farewell, a quarter of wine, a bottle of water, a coffee and a dessert!

18/05/2025: Fuimos en la oportunidad ya que no muchos lugares abiertos por la noche tuvieron la peor comida de la historia (albóndigas) ¡Claro que no eran comestibles, señoras antipáticas se llevaron todo el plato sin preguntar si estaba bien!

17/04/2025: Finally a café where you are welcomed with a genuine and unforced smile. Kindness not 5 stars, but many more: a firmament of stars. Yesterday I had breakfast and also lunch with a friend. Everything excellent. I recommend it. When I return to Carrara again it will be my go-to coffee.
