02/04/2024: Great restaurant, great food, great value. The venue is absolutely stunning sadly the weather didn’t allow us to sit outside under the wonderful lemon trees that shelter the patio. I would strongly suggest to try the stuffed onions which were exceptional, the stuffing was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Pheasant ragù and braised veal were also very nice, I am looking forward to going back to try more. Servings are very generous and wine list well studied. Must try!!

24/03/2024: The place is small but welcoming and upon entering you feel the "genius loci" of the Carrarina trattoria... it comes naturally to think of how many stories of real life and interesting tales have been heard within these walls. The staff was very welcoming and kind and the service was quick. The menu contains many strong/valid pieces of the traditional local cuisine, with some creative and original additions. We tried several dishes but unfortunately, apart from the appreciable marinated cod, I was not favorably impressed by their taste. I don't know if it depends on the quality of the raw materials or how they were cooked, but it's as if the ingredients don't display a clear and recognizable flavour, despite the care with which the dishes are presented. The experience was that of tasting a series of anonymous/indistinct dishes. The white bread was negative, completely devoid of taste and completely unsuitable as a support for crostini or combined with the sauce of fish dishes as it immediately goes limp, while the house wine appeared honest. I'm sorry I couldn't give a better rating. I hope to change my mind next time. But absolutely NO bread, it's unforgivable

06/01/2024: I stumbled upon this place by chance, very good, tender and quality meat, accompanied by freshly made focaccia bread and served while still steaming. The service was fast and very professional. Welcoming, warm and relaxing environment, just right for a nice evening spent in company with good food. Highly recommended!

01/02/2024: Non é possibile non avere la salsa di soia quando si vende sushi, punto. Il suschi si apre appena lo tocchi,ho dovuto quindi mangiarlo (quel poco, perche poi ho perso la pazienza e l ho buttato)senza soia e con il cucchiaio. Oltretutto non proprio economico, e quando entri nel locale 5 minuti per ritirare la vaschetta, esci e puzzi di fritto fa far schifo. Non dico altro.

04/04/2024: My favorite Sushi in the Massa and Carrara area. My wife and I have been using it for some time for lunch, dinner and takeaway with home delivery. Excellent dishes but above all beautiful and well prepared with a lot of variety both at lunch but above all for the dinner menu which features many gourmet sushi dishes. Like the tastings of Gin tartare, many types of chevice of both fish and shellfish and the immense plate of mixed sashimi, served on crushed ice with all varieties of fish, oysters and shellfish. The staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs which, having a small child, are many. The owner Gin is always available and has always welcomed us with kindness and hospitality, making us feel at home.

Personally I tasted the carbonara and I really liked it, and also the sliced ​​tuna, which was very good. Cozy environment with rustic ceiling, decorated with Roman cinema posters. Fast and efficient service, helpful and very kind waiters who explain the dishes to you in detail

09/03/2024: Il locale è bellino e il servizio cordiale e professionale, l'oste è un abile venditore ma non insistente. La sensazione di tutti nella serata è stata quella di aver mangiato cose di discreta fattura, di modesta quantità e di aver speso un filo troppo rispetto a ciò che si assaggiava e si vedeva sul piatto. Considerato che la nuova gestione si ispira alla cucina romanesca non abbiamo trovato la cultura romana nella grammatura delle parti edibili in alcuni piatti di pasta, in compenso ottima la tecnica di cottura dello spaghetto e i tempi

26/02/2024: Il locale si presenta molto elegante ed accogliente. Ideale per gustare i piatti tipici della tradizione Toscana. Particolarmente apprezzati i dolci quali cheesecake ai frutti di bosco e tiramisù. Personale veramente cordiale e familiare.
