18/05/2026: As a Lunigiana native who "emigranted" to La Spezia, I can say that this place, resurrected from the past, really impressed me. This is the Lunigiana I'd like to see more often, ancient and modern at the same time. Traditional cuisine is respected and reinterpreted with some good, innovative ideas that I really liked. The platter is delicious, with lots of tastings and good-quality meat. Special praise for the service, with very kind and attentive young people, always with a smile! I also found the prices lower than expected, so everything was perfect 👍👍

17/05/2026: Lunch immersed in nature with a welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service Today I went to Montagna Verde with friends and we had a pleasant day. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very kind, friendly, and sociable, qualities that made lunch even more enjoyable. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are thoughtful and flavorful. The portions may not be particularly generous, but the quality is evident. I had the truffle pasta: delicious and well-prepared, with a delicate and pleasant flavor. The desserts were very good, but the real highlight for me was the honey ice cream: simply AMAZING. The price of lunch was fair for the type of experience offered, although we probably initially expected to spend a little less. Winning 4 Ristoranti has certainly brought a lot of customers and notoriety to the restaurant, so I recommend booking well in advance (we booked about a month in advance). Consequently, the prices are now in line with demand and the experience offered. The only negative was the presence of many flies, which was understandable given the location surrounded by nature and therefore not directly the fault of the restaurant. However, at times it was quite annoying, so I would recommend finding a solution to make the experience even more pleasant. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, ideal for those looking for a quiet place to eat well and spend time with friends.

01/08/2026: Simply perfect, even the coffee was noteworthy, something that's no longer a given in bars, let alone restaurants. I really don't know what to say. I can only recommend it to anyone in the area.

30/07/2026: Not for families with young children. We visited as a family with our 2.5-year-old son, and unfortunately the experience was marred by one staff member’s attitude. The gentleman who welcomed us was warm and professional, which made the contrast even sharper. Shortly after being seated, our son picked up a wine glass, and a waitress came over abruptly and said “give me that” in a tone that felt sharp and dismissive rather than concerned. She later returned to remove a plate as well, again with the same brusque manner. When my husband asked if she’d meant anything negative toward our son, she became defensive and claimed she was only worried about his safety — but the tone from the start didn’t match that explanation. I understand safety around glassware matters, especially with young children, but there are respectful ways to communicate that don’t leave a parent feeling judged or unwelcome. The disconnect between the front-of-house welcome and this particular interaction was disappointing, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. I’d encourage the management to look into how staff are trained to communicate with families with young children — a simple, kind tone would have completely changed the experience for us.

02/06/2026: Claudio is fantastic! Kind, helpful, and an excellent cook. Good food, stunning views of the Lunigiana mountains, and a welcoming atmosphere. In the evening, we dined surrounded by fireflies, and during the day, we relaxed by the pool. TOP!

05/05/2026: The place is enchanting: the garden is well-maintained, and there are tables and loungers available for relaxing, immersing yourself in nature, and admiring the landscape. The rooms are welcoming and spacious, and are equipped with a variety of amenities, such as a minibar, complimentary toiletries, and a hairdryer. The food was excellent, both for the raw ingredients used and for the chef's cooking, which allowed us to enjoy traditional dishes, always carefully crafted and paired with flavors that truly brought out the best in them. The welcome we received made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!

26/07/2026: Pizzas with a wide variety and unique twists. Interesting homemade desserts. Definitely select, high-quality ingredients. It's tucked away, with limited parking, but you can find it on the main road within a few hundred meters. I think it's a bit pricey, but it's more than just a simple pizzeria.

24/07/2026: First dinner in Marina di Massa, first pizza 🍕 welcoming and functional place, team ready to serve immediately. Quick and the pizza 🍕 delicious 😋

10/07/2026: The galletto al mattone was excellent, but the baked potatoes were a bit less so. The desserts are the real highlight, in my opinion. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the particularly hot day, I can't say that the restaurant, which isn't air-conditioned, is what I'd call an ideal location. I'm giving it a low rating, although I'd increase it to five for the kindness of the manager (or the person who gave us the bill) and the small discount.

07/07/2026: I had dinner alone during a motorcycle tour. I didn't have a reservation, so I had no problems. I tried the testaroli al burro for the first time, and they were very good... followed by a tagliata with potatoes and pancetta, also very good and tender. The portions are more than adequate, and the prices are average. I'd say everything is 5-star, except for the service, which is very sketchy... except for the waiters' professionalism, but I don't see that as a negative because it's a trattoria after all. I'd look into some solution for the numerous flies outside.

01/06/2026: Hi, the pizzas were delicious because they had a wood-fired oven. But when they're ready, they don't deliver the pizzas to you; we have to bring them to our table. The area was beautiful.

17/04/2026: A place where, upon entering, you feel at home. The ambiance, with its flower arrangements, is simply perfect. The pizza is amazing—thin, crispy, and perfectly topped. Il migliore Pizza del mondo, the world's best pizza! I'll definitely be back. Friendly service, even though it's always packed. The pizzas arrive like clockwork. Two pizza chefs, a wood-fired oven, self-service, beer from the fridge. Order your pizza; if there's a free table, it will come on its own. If not, just take it with you or sit by the fountain. Top-notch! 🤣👍🖖

04/07/2026: We went here for dinner, and that was the worst thing what we can do…. It was disgusting… My boyfriend order hamburger and he get the most funny burger a have ever seen :D And the spagetti with seafood didnt worth the price… Also when we came here, we had very dirty glasses and we ask for clean ones and also was bad…
