The cleanliness is impeccable, but the real star is the food: traditional Lunigiana dishes, expertly cooked, authentic, and rich in flavor. Although they were still formally closed for the season, when we asked if we could stop for an aperitif, they greeted us with a smile and offered us a delicious aperitif at a very fair price. 27/03/2026: One Saturday morning, we attended an event at the nearby town hall. We left around 12:00, and the first restaurant we found was Abramo. I read the reviews and we were thrilled. The parking lot was spacious. We were seated at a table, not in the dining room, but in the space in front of the bar, after the entrance. We were verbally presented with a menu. We chose. Shortly afterward, the first courses arrived, followed by the second courses. Only water was available, no coffee. During our stay, more people came in, and I gradually heard the menu change. The waitress spoke whatever came to mind, so much so that a man complained, asking why. The waitress never smiled, sometimes she didn't even greet anyone who entered; she seemed uninterested in making you feel welcome. Two young men enter, he doesn't even look at them, he leaves them at the door, meanwhile he removes two yellow paper placemats from a table and without cleaning or tidying up the slightest, he seats them, not even deigning a word or a glance, only indicating with his finger that this would be their table. Horrible, truly horrific. And yet there were only a few tables present. The food was good, no complaints, and the service was prompt. The final surprise was the bill: we were presented with a fixed-price menu of €20 per person, which seems enormous to me for a plate of minestrone and roast beef with potatoes. A shame, really. Luckily, in Lunigiana there are numerous places where you're greeted with a smile, the food is excellent, and the price is reasonable. In Bagnone, for example, at Trattoria del Ponte, you can have a fantastic lunch for almost half the price in a proper dining room with super-friendly staff, as is at Capriolo, etc. The self-service restaurant in Aulla is even better. I definitely wouldn't go back here, nor would I recommend it.

14/03/2026: We are staying at Spino Secco Toscana, across the street from this amazing pizzeria. What a fortunate location for us. The staff is amazing, especially Florina, who is always smiling and so focused on friendliness and great service. And the food is just outstanding! The prices are so reasonable. And the atmosphere is so upbeat.

Truly delicious, beautifully topped pizzas, beautifully filled focaccias, and I like farinata, but I've heard of better (I'm not a fan). The fried dishes always come out piping hot, and the fries are spectacular. I'd like to make a special mention of the bill. You eat well and spend little, which is rare nowadays, considering that many pizzerias (even in the area) have restaurant prices. The staff is very kind and always smiling. They're two guys, one of whom, Juri, is a new arrival and is really good at making pizzas, and the owner, who is obviously a pizza chef. The place is small, but it's always kept nice and warm by a wood-burning stove that also creates a bit of atmosphere. In the summer, you can eat outside, but it's no problem for those inside who can't find a seat outside because the place is air-conditioned. Another note about the drinks is that the beers they stock are also really high-quality. As for bitters or grappas, it's okay to find some top-quality gems every now and then. I recommend booking because on weekends it gets packed with people sitting down and pizzas to go.

The cacio e pepe pici with fish, the maltagliati, and a rich and incredibly fresh seafood salad are excellent. A reliable and consistent place, worth keeping on your list.
