I organized a birthday lunch on a Saturday, on a beautiful sunny day. The place was truly well-kept, just the right amount of rustic, surrounded by greenery that gives it a sense of peace, and is perfect for getting up for a quick smoke or taking a walk between meals without disturbing other diners. The menu was simple but super effective, with excellent ingredients, cooked truly, truly well! From the homemade starters to the meat, everything was delicious! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful! Even though we were a fairly large group, they accommodated all our various requests, last-minute changes, and so on. Really good! I'll definitely be back!

The staff is very competent and helpful. The dishes are excellent even in their simplicity. Perhaps the location is a little small where there are people who speak too loudly and it is annoying.

We had lunch at this historic restaurant nestled in the Lucca hills, surrounded by greenery. The dining room is beautiful, and the fireplace creates a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is excellent, offering traditional Lucca dishes using quality ingredients, with a special mention for the truly delicious and perfectly cooked meat.

For me, it's one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Lucca. The only drawback of the beautiful interior is the acoustics; we couldn't talk to the two friends I was with. It was Saturday night, though. The outdoor area must be beautiful in the summer, especially due to its location.
