Lucca In Tavola In Lucca

This was the BEST dining experience my family and I had in Lucca (and that’s a high bar)! It’s a family owned business and their hospitality and pride in their restaurant shone through! The service was impeccable - our servers Sam and - I didn’t get his name, but he’s married to the owner - were extremely friendly and welcoming. They made us feel like one of the family and I watched them do the same with the other patrons. And the food was outstanding! The chef owns the restaurant and she is excellent. I can’t recommend Lucca in Tavola enough - if you’re in Lucca for any reason, you need to eat at this restaurant. If we were staying longer, we definitely would be back! And if we are ever in Italy again, we’ll come back to Lucca just to visit them.

As a well-established, cozy restaurant with a rustic owner who speaks three languages: German and English. Italian Perfect always speaks close to the customer with very good price performance.

They make delicious pasta and the waiters are very friendly.

I am from Spain, I have never tried such good penne pasta, very good service and a very cozy atmosphere. 100% recommendable

Michael and his wife are wonderful people. They have many gluten free options. Our granddaughter had special gluten free pasta and pistachio sauce! Michael speaks English so don't worry if that is an issue for you.

Eating here was the best restaurant experience that my family had in all of Italy, and that's quite a compliment considering all of the different places we have tried over 9 days. I made reservations on Google maps, and they had a table set aside for us when we arrived with our name on a sign. The service provided was unique and special. They made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in to the time we walked out. I tried to pay attention to other tables while we were there and I believe everyone was made to feel as special as we were. The food was equally as good as the service. While everything we ate was amazing, the quiche, pistachio pasta, and traditional spring soup really stood out. I don't believe you can order a bad dish here. Hat tip to Michael who led the wait staff, and made us feel like family. I would assume he owns the place since he worked so hard to make us feel like family. If you are in Lucca, don't miss this experience!

Un piacevole ritrovare il piccolo ristorante a dimensione umana dove pranzare gustando le portate con calma, senza fretta e assillo. Michele, perfetto oste, ti serve con delicatezza e cortesia, quasi in punta di piedi. Bravi

MUST-TRY RESTAURANT in Lucca!!! Amazing food, all home-made and fresh. Reasonable prices, maybe a bit too less food per dish, but overall great experience. This restaurant should be on the Michelin Guide. The owner was exceptionally friendly and had fun conversations with him, definitly will come here again.

Sono qui con la figlia al Lucca comics, e per colpa o merito della pioggia ho trovato questo gioiellino di ristorante. Tutto il cibo buono, la tagliata muggiva ancora, visto che l’avevo richiesta al sangue, non sempre la pioggia può rovinare i pomeriggi, ma anche far trovare posti caratteristici e piccoli gioielli da scoprire .
