11/09/2023: Enjoyed a couple of late night pints at this little rustic pub near our rental apartment tonight. Basic good food and cold beer but it was Khaled that made the experience great despite our English to Italian language barrier. He was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back during our ling stay in Florence.
30/07/2023: After a long and tiring day in Florence, we decided not to head back into the city in the evening for dinner but walk from our apartment to this delightful local pizzeria. Slightly put off by the very 'English' name (we like to try local food and traditional venues) we went on trust of previous reviews and were not disappointed. The pizzas were fantastic. Perfectly cooked with a large variety of toppings and bases cooked crispy & to perfection (for me anyway, I don't like a thick floppy base!) Service was great too, Khaled looked after us and was very attentive and engaging despite our lack of Italian and his lack of English. Definitely worth a visit and worthy of all the previous reviews on here.
