10/04/2025: Scusate scrivo a tutti quelli che hanno scritto che non consigliano il posto! 1.il menù è sempre stato quello. 2.i prezzi sono fermi dal cambio in euro. 3 illocale è sempre quello! Ci sono tanti altri posti dove si può mangiare ma non dite che il prezzo è troppo alto! Grazie a tutti!

06/01/2025: Non basta avere tovaglie a quadretti e tavoli vecchi per essere una vera trattoria tipica. Oggi abbiamo sperimentato la differenza tra cucinare e "dar da mangiare ": ci hanno dato da mangiare. Nessuna portata di quelle prese al tavolo che superasse il 6- - -. Nessuna pietanza tipica in menù. Costo alto per quello che abbiamo preso. Non consigliato.

07/06/2025: Full disclaimer, we had our wedding there and it was perfect. The place is beautiful, the ground staff is great. The problem is the the manager Matteo, he’s very sketchy and not to be trusted. It’s a nice venue, but there are many nice venues in the region. So I would suggest you to stay away. They would go out of their way to lie and take your money. Things to look out for if you already booked with them: 1. Do not order room service, or champagne, or any kind of food or beverage to the rooms, they will charge you “service fee” of €20 per person. We ordered a bottle of champagne for 6 people. And ON TOP of the cost of the bottle (€200) they charged us €120 for this “fee”. You can just go to the restaurant, order it and bring it to your room by yourself . Or eat/drink at the restaurant. 2. They will make up fake items just to charge you. For example, they charged us €600 additionally to hire some chairs for the wedding ceremony even though they used the same chairs from dinner just repurposed them. Watch out for this make sure you don’t pay them more than what you should. As they will lie about giving you a refund but then would ignore your calls and emails to avoid paying. 3. They have many rigid rules, and do not allow any external caterers. Only there in house catering team. Therefore they are monopoly on price and will be a lot more expensive with very limited menu/offering. ——— Update in Feb 2025: I’ve been informed that Matteo has been fired from Villa Mangiacane, which is a very good decision of the owner/management. Hopefully the new manager is decent to do justice for such beautiful and magical venue.

13/02/2024: locale carino, cucina piacevole, buone birre, peccato la misura da 33cl e non la vecchia pinta. Mangiando, 33cl sono pochi, sei costretto a prenderne un'altra.

07/03/2025: A due passi da Ponte Vecchio, posto meraviglioso proprietario super disponibile. Siamo rimasti subito stupiti dalla scelta e qualità dei prodotti, uno dei pochi posti rimasti autentici di Firenze.

10/04/2025: Posticino piccolo con buon cibo a prezzi moderati. È un posto per pranzi veloci ma comunque ottimi. Anche se si arriva senza prenotazione basta aspettare un po' e un tavolo si libera

15/10/2023: Pense num lugar horroroso e com um proprietário estúpido, poderia chamá-lo de cavalo, mas o pobre animal seria ofendido. Croissant frio e do dia anterior, capuccino frio, enfim corram, passem longe. Ah! Detalhe tudo isso as 8 da manhã a bodega tinha acabado de abrir.

24/08/2023: Entrati per uno spritz abbiamo deciso di fermarci anche a pranzo. Servizio rapido. Cucina molto buona. Ampio menù, non solo bar ma anche tavola calda e ristorante. Prodotti di qualità. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Barman e titolare... Grandiosi! Troppo forti! Mai fatte tante risate!! Complimenti davvero. Lo consiglio vivamente per un aperitivo, per pranzo e...per farvi quattro risate!!!

30/01/2024: Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, personale gentile e disponibile. Però la nuova gestione ha messo una nuova illuminazione molto brutta, troppo forte, tipo pizzeria. Spero che l'atmosfera torni come era prima. grazie

13/10/2024: Ci siamo trovati a Firenze un giorno spensierato tra amici Già che abbiamo visto il locale vuoto ci doveva far pensare ….. ci siamo fidate della signora all accoglienza ora di pranzo ….. Signora maleducatissima verso di noi molto prevenuta L’uomo che ha preso la comanda ha sbagliato l’ordine e la signora si è accanita verso di noi …..per me dovrebbero andare in pensione e rilassarsi un po’
