15/08/2025: Let's start with the positives: the restaurant is tastefully decorated. The fish quality is high. Moving on to the negatives: the service is inattentive, slow, and at times rude. I've been to this restaurant three times (some invited, some on my own) because I like sushi. However, despite the excellent fish, the rolls aren't good at all: they're large and fall apart between chopsticks, and the rice, in my opinion, is poorly flavored (and clashes with the filling). The real downside is that you spend a lot of money on dinner, which you then eat, and sitting outside, the chairs are uncomfortable! But above all, I ordered a plate of raw fish (LA CRUDITÀ) and only when I got home, looking at the menu again, did I realize THERE WERE NO OYSTERS. We weren't told, we were so caught up in our dinner that we didn't notice; they were NOT replaced, and the price (€50!) wasn't changed. A major dip in style, so for me, 1 star is already too much.

25/12/2025: A welcoming, charming, and friendly place. Excellent food, reasonable prices. Kudos to Simone (the owner and manager), who's always available and professional, and serves excellent food. I come to La Crocina often, and today, for Christmas, I wanted to highlight this. Kudos to everyone, and I highly recommend this place.

23/11/2025: Good food, lovely atmosphere, excellent setting surrounded by greenery. I imagine it's great in the summer for a bit of cool air. The only problem was they "mistakenly" counted the food, twice. 2 appetizers, 1.1kg of steak (delicious), 1 side dish, 1/4 red wine, 1 liter of water, and 1 dessert. Bill: €110 (that seems way too much). I go back in, check it again, and find the mistake: one "zero too many." In reality, it would have been €78... (a shame, but it's understandable). He gives me €22 back and pats me on the back, but I was still €10 short. Now, I understand that anyone can "mistakely" count the food, but...

03/02/2026: Restaurant located in Moggiona, IL PAESE DEI BIGONAI, a delightful discovery, which I booked from home because I was looking for exactly that type of restaurant. The atmosphere is informal, like at home, like my grandmother's house, just how I like it, and the atmosphere would be 5 stars too—for my taste, that is. The Michelin Guide has awarded this restaurant a Bib Gourmand as a trattoria for several years. These are quality restaurants, but more informal than the starred ones, and they stand out for their good value. A warm welcome, and the dishes are explained with passion. We had a wonderful time. Traditional dishes, even off-menu ones, Like the ACQUACOTTA DI MOGGIONA (different from the Maremmana and without eggs). I highly recommend the homemade tortelli filled with the characteristic local potato. My husband was thrilled to eat their rabbit in porchetta, just like his mother used to make. The vegetable dishes are excellent 💚 The town of Moggiona has a very active local tourist board and offers a variety of activities. Take a day to visit the Bigonaio Shop, the Resistance Museum, and the Wolf Museum. All within the Casentino Forest Park. 15/12/2025: Poor food, long waits, several orders never arrived, poor cleanliness, and decidedly inefficient staff!!! We had to repeatedly ask the waiters to clear away the various plates piled up at the sides of the table; one even snorted in our faces!!! To put a damper on the service... the icing on the cake was the soy sauce, diluted with water... which we nicknamed "soy water"!!! We won't be going back...

05/11/2025: Anghiari's historic bar, a meeting place for all generations, serves breakfast, aperitifs, and in the summer, delicious fruit-based dinners. Alessandro's art, with his portraits of celebrities engraved on watermelons, is a real winner! So much fun!

01/10/2025: Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches and a water hookup with a sink at each pitch. Exceptionally friendly and helpful reception staff in several languages. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Respect for the previous owner, who took back his campsite after the mismanagement of the short-lived new owner. I'm confident this campsite can regain a top position. 👍

01/10/2025: The website doesn't match reality. It's a shame. The location is perfect, but the campsite is run down and looks bleak. Faded glory. Lots of weeds. The sanitary facilities are outdated, though clean. However, Emily at the reception was very helpful and helpful. We didn't unfold our trailer tent but drove on to another campsite.

25/11/2025: The location is adjacent to the highway, yet nestled in a quiet setting. It's also very close to the town of Cortona, making it an excellent choice for logistics. Excellent for a one-night stopover. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated and in need of renovation. The windowless bathroom had no ventilation. If we had chosen this hotel for a few days, it would have left us a bit skeptical.

02/10/2025: It's a nice hotel; it was full when I was there. Breakfast is from about 6:30 to 9:30, looks well-prepared, and has a reasonable selection, including some Italian fare.
