21/03/2026: We stopped for a quick aperitivo and a chat with friends, and it was a lovely discovery. Young and informal, it's the perfect place to spend an hour with friends or even alone. The shared tables, which allow for sharing and socializing, are a great idea. The atmosphere is pleasant. The craft beers are excellent.

05/12/2025: The owners are very kind and welcoming. The place is cute, but they seated us in a smaller room adjacent to the main one, which is certainly more private, but I found it a bit dark or poorly lit. Also, being at the back, there's no WiFi, even though it's free. We went for dinner, and the menu had very few choices, including appetizers and a few main courses. I don't understand where the name "osteria" comes from.

12/03/2026: Authentic Tuscan bread!!! It's delicious fresh, but if it's left over for a few days, you can use it to make a memorable panzanella, a testament to its high quality.

30/05/2026: If you want to spend a day unhurriedly and enjoy an unusual lunch, this is the place. Excellent dishes featuring flowers, wild herbs, mushrooms, and truffles. Italian-style service begins at 1:00 PM with appetizers of mixed crostini, fried polenta with borage, and continues with 7-8 appetizers, culminating in a spectacular mixed flower salad and various salads. Then, always slowly, so you can appreciate them (foods you've never tasted before), the three first courses arrive: a creamy soup this time with stridoli, a green cappelletto stuffed with cheeses and fragrant black truffle, and tagliolini with blackthorn. Then the second courses: guinea fowl with black truffle and juniper cream, served with fried elderflowers, and lamb with artichokes. Finally, a delicate tiramisu with ricotta and sage madeleines, water and house wine all included. You leave feeling stuffed after about three hours. But truly satisfied. Very fair price. Highly recommended.

09/06/2026: A pleasant surprise along the way to our destination. The lady who runs the place was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and plentiful.

02/06/2026: A quick lunch stop during a two-day bike ride. The place is quite large with an outdoor loggia under the road. The staff were friendly. We had tagliatelle with white Chianina beef ragù and porcini mushrooms, both excellent. The sandwiches and the chef's warm schiacciata were also good. Water, wine, and coffee were also good, and the price was reasonable.

31/05/2026: An evening with friends at the Ristorante Pizzeria i Gelsi Location: A simple restaurant set up with recycled materials, with an open kitchen; in summer, you can eat outside in the garden. Parking: There's a Gala supermarket nearby, and we can take advantage of the large, always-open parking lot. Staff: Friendly and quick to serve, even when the restaurant is full. Food: The Gelsi appetizer was really good and plentiful. The fried appetizer was plentiful, but it's a shame about the quality because it's made up of several pre-cooked items, like the battered vegetables and mozzarella. The pizza was good, easy to digest, and well-seasoned. Prices: Super affordable.

27/04/2026: I decided to organize my daughter's baptism/birthday lunch at the "Ai Gelsi" restaurant. It was a beautiful day and very well organized. The food was typical Tuscan, plentiful, and beautifully prepared! They were also extremely attentive to their guests' dietary needs. I highly recommend it for events or even just for dinner.

19/11/2025: Everything was delicious. The fossa cheese with elderberry jelly was excellent. Like everything else. All the products are from the farm, which is why they have a fixed menu. You can eat whatever's in season. Open only on weekends.

21/12/2025: We chose Chiara con Gusto to celebrate my son's birthday, and it was absolutely delightful. Chiara prepared a Christmas cookie baking session for them, helping them with the dough and decorating all the decorations possible. The buffet was excellent, perfectly organized and made with high-quality ingredients. And it was all topped off with the smiles of those who truly enjoy opening their home and joyfully sharing the celebration. TOP!
