09/07/2025: Old-fashioned tavern. Massimo, a friendly and approachable host. The pici alla gricia are fantastic, the fried brains and rabbit are superb. Everything is perfect at a fair price. I recommend it to anyone looking for authentic flavors and an atmosphere that is hard to find these days. It will be my go-to restaurant for business trips. Try it!!

But if you want to eat seriously, laugh with people you don’t even know, and feel at home like a Roman aunt with an apron and a loud voice, then this is the right place. 🍷 Atmosphere More than a restaurant, it seems like an old-fashioned tavern. Long tables, mismatched chairs, sturdy glasses, the smell of sauce already outside the door. The place is small, lived-in, a little noisy and terribly real. 🧑‍🍳 The waiter – Massimo A figure. Massimo doesn’t take orders, he tells recipes. He looks at you, looks you up and down and says: “I’ll bring you a crying gricia. Trust me.” And it’s impossible to say no to him. Between one joke and another, he goes around the tables like a long-time friend. And if you stay with the clean plate too long, he'll refill it for you. 🍝 The cuisine Carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana: everything done properly, without frills, with generous portions and a taste that makes you close your eyes at the first bite. Homemade second courses, such as livers, Roman-style tripe, fried meat and courgette flowers (also veal brains) and stuffed tomatoes. House wine (half a liter, a laugh): rustic, but perfect for the setting. 💸 Price Incredibly honest. With 20-25 euros you eat a first course, second course, wine and you also take away an anecdote to tell. 🤝 Social experience Once you sit down, you find yourself chatting with the person next to you. Here you fraternize, laugh, share dishes and memories. 23/04/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato qui con due bimbe piccole dopo che dei nostri amici ne avevano parlato benissimo. Confermo la bellezza della location e la gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietà. Ottimo anche il loro ristorante. Abbondante la colazione. Ampi e verdi spazi per le bambine .

18/02/2025: Scelta casuale ma decisamente azzeccata. A pranzo domenica scorsa io e mia moglie con una coppia di amici abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Tra primi, secondi, contorni e dolci abbiamo preso tutti piatti diversi (tranne due stinchi) e siamo rimasti soddisfattissimi di ognuna delle portate. Il tutto condito dalla cortesia e disponibilità della ragazza che serviva ai tavoli. Esperienza da ripetere assolutamente visto che c'è ancora molto da assaggiare.

28/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questa osteria, nonostante fosse tardi ci hanno accolto gentilmente ed è stata una vera sorpresa. Antipasto buonissimo ma soprattutto i ravioli con ragù di salumi toscani e tartufo veramente eccezzionali. E prezzo molto onesto. Consigliatissimo!

02/03/2025: Vasta scelta anche per chi è intollerante al glutine. Atmosfera tranquilla e rustica. Servizio ottimo e cibo di qualità. Prezzi nella norma. Siamo tornati già 3 volte !!

17/07/2025: Fantastic bar in the centre of town; we, a group of conscientious English lads, turned up to this bar at the hour of close with hat in hand, searching for any sort of cold lager. Andrea, the brilliant and friendly barman sorted us not only with the ice cold beer we desired but with some great friendly football chat and good service. 100% recommend

06/06/2025: 🇭🇺Yesterday (2025.06.05.) I was there with the red truck to unload. They are very kind, they unloaded the goods quickly. The space is a bit tight, but they help with everything! Listen to me. Fellow drivers! They really do take a break from 13-15, arrive so that you don't have to wait on the street for hours!

10/05/2025: Great little cheese shop, with a wide variety of pecorinos! The shop owner let us try a few options before selecting, the sage pecorino was very tasty. They also have honey, jams and wine for sale too, all at reasonable prices!

27/06/2025: Stayed for 4 days and had a great experience, everywhere was spotlessly clean, great service from the staff. No aircon in the room I had, so if the weather is warm be prepared.

09/07/2025: Vi kom tilfældigvis forbi og vi syntes det så hyggeligt ud. Dette var til en frokost og vi bestilte to pizzaer. Vi opdagede de lavede deres eget øl så det måtte vi prøve. To forskellige pizzaer og to forskellige øl. Maden var meget lækker og super lækkert øl. Vi vil glæde os til et aften besøg.

17/06/2025: We dachten een lekkere verse Italiaanse pizza te krijgen, maar hadden meteen in de gaten dat we een diepvries pizza hadden gekregen met dik gesneden prosciutto ham over de hele pizza heen gelegd, om de boel te camoufleren .
