23/08/2025: I bought some souvenirs, not cheap at all, but then again, we all know that if there's only that one place, they take advantage of it, and what isn't expensive in this splendid Italy of ours? 🇮🇹

13/08/2025: We had dinner there. The dishes aren't many, but those that are there are worth trying because they're expertly prepared. They're courteous and attentive to every detail in the preparation of the dish, and the atmosphere is truly refined. The waitress was really nice and attentive. Everything was served to really pleasant music. If we return to this area, we'll come back to try their dishes. Thanks for the evening.

24/09/2025: We went there twice to try the fish dishes. The first time we ate on the veranda and was served by a very attentive, helpful, and nice waitress. The second time wasn't so good: the waitress forgot things and even responded a little resentfully because I repeated the order and then she got it wrong. Anyway, we'll be back! We even saw some great pizzerias passing by the tables!

22/09/2025: We came for pizzas and we were not disappointed. Really tasty with thin bases and great value for money. The owner/staff were really friendly and extremely accommodating to our two small children.

27/06/2025: Stayed for 4 days and had a great experience, everywhere was spotlessly clean, great service from the staff. No aircon in the room I had, so if the weather is warm be prepared.

07/09/2025: Family-run restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. In the summer you can enjoy the large terrace with a spectacular view of the whole of Arezzo. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, really digestible and abundantly seasoned. The meat is delicious and cooked on the grill. The first courses and other classic dishes are delicious. The service is impeccable and very helpful. The prices are low. The bathrooms are very large.

30/08/2025: We came here twice during our vacation and bought supplies for the barbecue. Each time was a great experience. Such great, friendly service…Tuscany tips included! We would come back in a heartbeat!

11/09/2025: I went to this restaurant last Sunday with a couple of friends and we loved it. It was like eating at your grandmother's or aunt's in the countryside, where you get a lovely, wholesome meal (so you have to like the style). It's a family-run restaurant with simple, yet authentic and tasty food. The set menu is amazing: for €35 you get a bottle of wine, water, appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, coffee, and vinstanto with cantuccini biscuits. Generous portions! The staff is very friendly :)

18/08/2025: The view from the terrace is beautiful, but that's where the positives end. The guinea fowl was dry and tasteless, the pasta was okay, but I expected something better. The portions are quite small. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this place.

13/08/2025: Very nice little grocery store in the center of Cortona. We bought some charcuterie there, which was very good! I recommend it.

11/08/2025: We stopped at La Botteghina for lunch during our stay in Cortona. We enjoyed an aperitivo with local wine and, most importantly, a really high-quality platter of local cheeses. The first courses we ordered were also delicious. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: We were lucky to arrive just as they were opening so we got a table even though we didn't have a reservation. I have a number of dietary restrictions but we were able to find dishes that I could eat. When we ordered, I asked the server to recommend a bottle of wine for us and he suggested an economical option that went well with our meals. The lamb was more thoroughly cooked than I am used to, and the beef was much rarer than my companion was used to, but both were excellent! The gnocchi was also quite good. We finished with the tiramisù and loved it! Very different from what we find in the US, but absolutely delicious. The servers didn't hover or interrupt us, but were always available if we needed something. It was pretty easy to get their attention, and they spoke enough English that we didn't have a problem communicating. We should probably try some of the other restaurants in town, but the experience here was so good that this might be the only place we dine out during our stay!

02/10/2025: Just enjoyed a delious meal at Antica Trattoria. Staff was very friendly, the food was of good quality and the portions were genorous and reasonably priced.

03/09/2025: Never a leap in the dark... Always at a consistently excellent level over time .. it's a shame I live in Monza...
