18/01/2026: We stayed in an apartment that lacked nothing; the bed in particular was very comfortable. The owners pampered us and, as soon as we arrived, gave us a tour of the farm, where we got to meet Enzo, their affectionate dog. The restaurant's food is excellent and homemade: we loved it so much we bought some of their cheeses to take home.

06/11/2025: We stayed one night and the next day we did the cheese-making workshop. It was very interesting, well explained, and everyone participated actively! For all ages. The food for dinner was delicious. The stew was amazing! Located in the middle of nature and in the Alpe della Luna nature reserve. The last kilometer uphill is a bit bumpy by car, but it's manageable! We had a great time, thanks in part to the owners' friendliness and kindness! Kudos also to the guy who "looks after the animals" and showed us all the animals and explained everything about them! Their cheeses are delicious.

16/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, no one greeted us or seated us. We were forced to sit alone. The order was a disaster because we asked for two types of dumplings and only got one. When we pointed out the mistake, they brought back the same dumplings. I ordered a chicken bao and got a calamari bao, with just two calamari rings. The service was extremely slow and rude. I asked for napkins, and after 20 minutes, they still hadn't arrived, and when I asked for them again, they threw them on the table, saying "toooo." Also, if you call the staff, they tell you "wait" and then you never see them again. Small place, inattentive and rude staff. I strongly advise against it: an absolutely negative experience. I agree with everything you wrote. Calling the evening "frantic" doesn't excuse repeated mistakes, constant inattention, and above all, rudeness toward customers. When asked "sugar?" and I answered "yes, two," they were brought two coffees instead of two sugar packets, further demonstrating a lack of attention. We sat alone because no one came to greet us. The ravioli I requested were two different types, and only one type arrived three times. The bao I ordered was chicken, not calamari. The napkins were thrown onto the table accompanied by a "too" gesture and tone that I consider unacceptable in any professional context, regardless of how one now attempts to downplay the incident. The owner's response, in tone, confirms exactly what I reported: rude attitude, zero self-criticism, and no desire to improve. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident, but a way of working.

03/05/2026: A really lovely Italian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, there's something for everyone. If you're looking for an authentic Italian atmosphere, this is the place to go. The service is a 10/10. :))

05/04/2026: It deserves five stars. It was recommended to us and it was the right choice! We had a Tuscan platter with cured meats, cheeses, crostini, and acqua cotta (so good!), truly excellent. But the pizza was fantastic! I had cacio e pepe; my husband had four cheeses with anchovies and onions. Despite the ingredients we chose, the pizza was light, digestible, and very tasty 😋 our daughter ordered a kids' menu. Two desserts, vin santo, and coffee were really cheap. We recommend it to everyone!

05/10/2025: The place is neglected, with damaged walls and tables and chairs that could use replacing. The atmosphere is subpar. The menu is poor, both in terms of variety and type of food. The only difference is that truffles are added to standard dishes. Overall, the service was decent, and the staff were courteous and polite.

09/09/2025: Absolutely delicious food! Small-scale setting and friendly staff. The tartare is amazing and definitely a reason to eat here. In a word: highly recommended!

01/06/2026: A fun stop that satisfies the spirit and...the palate. Histrionic owner and host from times gone by, quality cold cuts and cheeses. The pasta is handmade and the sausage and beans made me want a Madeleine, taking me back to my mother's pan of beans and sausage, rigorous with the wooden spoon and the mopping up of the bread. Good selection of wines. The outdoor terrace with a view that disappears into the Val di Chiana. Well done!

01/06/2026: Attorney Onorato's review is embarrassing. I'd like to point out to him that 1.7 kilometers from this little shop, where people come to enjoy themselves and have fun, there's a fantastic and very fast McDonald's where you spend next to nothing and are back in your car in five minutes. Anyone who doesn't deserve to come here, where time stands still, should avoid it.

04/06/2026: I invited some guests visiting my place near Cortona to this bar-restaurant-pizzeria for lunch and dinner. Tables are set up before the entrance for outdoor dining, during sunny hours. The interior space, on the left, near the entrance, is delightful: simple, welcoming, colorful, and tastefully furnished. There is also a more modern dining room, but equally comfortable, spacious, and inviting. We ate from the menu, and everyone, including myself, was satisfied. Good quality pizza, as were the first courses, meats, and side dishes. Excellent variety of desserts. A wide selection of wines, for those who wish. Pets welcome 🙂 RECOMMENDED 🍴

15/04/2026: We spent three magical nights at I Tre Baroni, taking advantage of the three-night package that included a room with a spa, a private massage, a private excursion, and a tasting dinner at the Mater restaurant (a truly special place!). What can I say? From the very beginning, Gessica was incredibly kind and available to answer all our questions and clarify any doubts, even before our stay, personalizing our experience. When we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed. The room was gorgeous, very spacious, with a spectacular view of the Casentinesi Forests National Park. The room was spotless, with a hot tub and sauna. The private excursion with Stefano was a wonderful experience: his guide was invaluable in helping us fully appreciate the wonders of the park! The dinners at the restaurant were also highly recommended: the atmosphere is meticulously maintained and welcoming, the service impeccable, and you have the opportunity to sample the local flavors, expertly cooked and served. 13/04/2026: An unacceptable experience. I was looking for the silence of Casentino, but I found chaos. It all started with a lack of transparency: I booked a suite with a sauna, but upon check-in, they gave me a different room without telling me, hoping I wouldn't notice. Only after I protested was I granted a change; there's no point in calling it an upgrade, since the room offered lacked the booked amenities and was aesthetically inferior. The rest was a crescendo of poor service: - Technical: The suite shower was unusable due to lack of pressure. - Acoustic: A sleepless night due to the roar of the whirlpool tubs below (until midnight). I didn't call again just to avoid waking my partner, who, after various mix-ups, had only managed to sleep thanks to earplugs. - Construction site: Awake at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, hammering on the roof and weaving between construction trucks to get to breakfast. Work was kept quiet until arrival despite a recent reservation (24 hours in advance). The 50% discount was obtained only after a firm discussion. The initial disrespect and the construction-like environment are incompatible with a high-end hotel. Not recommended.
