Just the most perfect location - remote but accessible by a beautiful mountain drive, the farm is genuine entirely non touristy and full of intrepid Italians doing their weekend hikes and mountain bike trails coming for an exquisite lunch by a roaring fire. The cheese experience with Philippe started with an apology that we “had to feed the baby goats” as if this was a genuine chore for us! He and Sara his fascinating musician partner and his dad are extremely friendly, practical, matter of fact and humble about what they have produced. Philippe is a genuine artisan with making incredible cheese and dried Tuscan delicacies. The perfect place to hike to, get a bit muddy, see this real farming life but also get a beautiful meal in a genuine rustic Tuscan setting. Good for kids but this is a working farm so you expect to have to concentrate and bring wellies and wipes for their hands if you are worried about germs (I would have eaten the mud myself as it probably would have been nutritious). Our 1 1/2 year old was the happiest all holiday. We hiked back to them the following day as we missed it so much.

Siamo andati per il pranzo e il laboratorio caseario.Proprietari gentili e disponibili. Grandi spazi all'aperto immersi nella natura.Piacevole visita alle stalle(mucche,capre, cavalli...). Filippo ē stato una simpatica guida! Pranzo freddo a base di ottimi salumi e formaggi prodotti da loro.Consigliato per famiglie e per chi cerca qualche ora in relax!!

Fattoria di Germagnano...the Top! The TOP! For those looking for a real farm, real agritourism and nature as it is offered in that area. Hospitality, kindness and good food... everything to be enjoyed! Possibility for adults and children to have a direct relationship with the animals: donkeys, horses, goats, the Marisa cow and the sheep; to attend the demonstration of how cheese is made and to purchase their products; to live days in close and regenerating contact with nature!

We were looking for a place to completely unplug for a few days and we did it great. Sara and Filippo welcomed us warmly, making us feel immediately at ease. With Filippo we saw how the farm works and above all we interacted with all the animals, who were treated really well. The cuisine…very good!!! The vast majority of raw materials are produced by them and you can feel it a lot. In short, we had a really great time and the passion with which the farm is managed is overwhelming. We also brought with us our Olmo (medium sized dog) who was welcomed like a member of the family, being able to stay with us everywhere throughout the farm! I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience farm life for a few days and immerse themselves in nature.

We had a great time, an extremely pleasant weekend in a peaceful place surrounded by nature and pampered by attentive, friendly and fun management!

Sara welcomed us with friendliness and availability, all in a natural way, we practically didn't check in, we immediately entered the heart of this beautiful reality truly immersed in nature. Not rooms, but very comfortable mini apartments with the possibility of having breakfast with their fresh products at the time we wanted (in the evening they prepared a donut for us for the next morning). Another thing we appreciated was the common hallway where there are games and readings for the children where our son played with a friend he met in the facility)

We stayed there and loved it. It's a bit of a difficult road to get there but it's worth it. The friendly staff, at any time you can go and see the animals, watch the milking... The food is delicious and only local products (for example a roast lamb that I will never forget). You can take very beautiful walks in the mountains that surround it. I highly recommend it! Cercavamo una fattoria dove far conoscere alla nostra bimba di un anno e mezzo quegli animali che finora aveva visto solo nei libri. Questo è il posto perfetto perché qui cavalli, capre, mucche e asini vivono in una bella armonia con l’uomo e la natura. Si trova in un ambiente speciale, nella Riserva Naturale di Pian della Luna, sopra a Sansepolcro. L’ultimo tratto di strada per arrivare è sterrato e mette un po’ alla prova le sospensioni. Ma ne vale la pena. Appena arrivate abbiamo visto i cavalli liberi al pascolo e siamo andate ad accarazzarli. Poi le caprette nella stalla, con cui la domenica abbiamo fatto una passeggiata nel bosco. Romeo, il vitello figlio di Marisa, una splendida vacca rossa che abbiamo visto mungere. Purtroppo non abbiamo visto gli asini perché non siamo salite a Pian della Capanna, il rifugio più alto dove stazionano. Per farlo sarebbe stato utile portare lo zaino porta bimbi, che abbiamo dimenticato a casa. Le camere sono molto spaziose, rustiche, ma curate. Lì abbiamo fatto colazione con latte e yogurt di Marisa, pane, marmellata e torta fatti in casa, ottima colazione. Abbiamo pranzato e cenato assaggiando piatti ricchi e gustosi, una menzione speciale alle lasagne al ragù di montone e agli arrosticini. Formaggi e salumi che producono loro sono squisiti, ne abbiamo comprato un po’ da portare a casa. Abbiamo assistito alla presentazione del libro di Tommaso D’Errico, fatta nella stalla delle caprette, insieme ad altre famiglie con bambini venuti apposta per questa iniziativa. Insomma è stata un’esperienza piena, ricca e soddisfacente, tutto sapientemente condotto da Filippo, Sara, il resto dello staff e tra le feste dei due cani, Enzo e Sandro. Torneremo di sicuro, perché ci siamo sentite come a casa e per conoscere meglio il resto del parco. Matilde, Caterina e Mila
