25/07/2025: Siamo stati a mangiare in questa pizzeria per il compleanno di un mio amico celiaco. Locale carino, ben curato, silenzioso, personale super gentile e moltissime scelte per celiaci. Abbiamo ordinato tutti un antipasto toscano e varie tipologie di pizze tutte molto buon e cotte al punto giusto. Abbiamo preso poi vari dolci a testa tutti buonissimi come dessert. Prezzo super onesto e alla fine pure un limoncello offerto. Super consigliato, soprattutto per celiaci.

26/06/2025: Great pizza and great ingredients. Quiet and clean place. Ample parking. There is no table service but there are placemats and cutlery (in sanitized paper bags) to use. Wide selection of beer and soft drinks. Friendly and helpful pizza chef. I recommend it

19/06/2025: Seems like a local pub hangout which I like. Good food and service. Not too many beers if thats what you are looking for but many other drink options. Low prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly!

15/06/2025: the wait is really stressful. the time spent waiting for the food was not repaid with the service and the quality of the food. let's not talk about the "water-shooting" fans that disturb the meal. in short, not worth returning to. the tiramisu (if made by you) was good.

14/09/2025: Nothing to complain about the food, the atmosphere inside was too stuffy and noisy, it was hard to talk from the confusion. Everything that could go wrong with the service happened tonight: we had reserved a table two days ago and it hadn't been reserved for us. We sat down and were ignored for almost half an hour, taking orders from those who had arrived after us. Only after we stood up to call them did they take our orders. Only one waitress took the orders, a bit confused and decidedly unfriendly. We were advised to order starters because with pizzas there would have been too long a wait. The result: those who ordered after us and ordered pizzas were served before us!!! I got up again to ask. In total, we had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat a starter. They didn't even bother to make up for it by offering a discount! I'm the type who rarely loses patience, so I didn't raise any objections, but I'll never set foot in there again. We all make mistakes, of course, but we should at least make the sacrifice of trying to make up for it.

31/08/2025: We were there with a large group of nine people and were initially delighted by the beautiful ambiance and the large table. But unfortunately, the evening then took a very disappointing turn. The food arrived at the same time, but it was only lukewarm – annoying for a full restaurant, but still bearable. Things got even more annoying when my pizza was incorrectly served. While everyone else was almost finished and had already received their dessert, I was the last one to start eating. This wasn't only unfortunate, but also significantly dampened the mood. Things didn't improve with dessert: Of the four desserts we ordered, only two arrived. The service seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganized. After the long wait, we didn't want to wait for the remaining desserts and asked for the bill. We couldn't even pay at the table; we had to go inside. The final straw came when we looked at the bill: We were charged for all four desserts – even though we hadn't even received them! At least the mistake was corrected immediately after we pointed it out, and the staff even apologized. Nevertheless, the impression remains that the service that evening was simply overwhelmed. For the price, the food would have been fine, but the service and organization were a complete disaster. It's a shame, because the ambiance and first impressions were really good. Unfortunately, we're left with a bitter aftertaste and a clear decision: If we vacation here again, we'd give you another chance. With hot food and better service.

08/09/2025: Nice place, but the service is terrible, the pizzas aren't worth it, and the staff don't seem to want to work. When you try to pay the bill separately, they make a fuss, yell, and speak poorly to the customers.

07/09/2025: The food at the restaurant was really good. We loved the pizzas, and they have a huge selection. If you're looking for a good pizza at a good price, you'll find it here. We also recommend that visitors not miss out on the comedy-like service. We had a reservation and were seated quickly by a somewhat grumpy waiter. But we're here for the pizza, not to make new friends. You can access the menu via a QR code on your smartphone. Usually, this isn't a problem, but with 40 pizzas, as well as an equal number of wines and beers, choosing what to eat quickly becomes an scrolling orgy. It's definitely good finger exercise. We recommend writing down your food choices; otherwise, ordering can quickly become unpleasant when you have to spend half an hour searching for the name of your chosen dish among the 300 menu items in front of the waiter. After a while, our ordered water arrived. Well, it wasn't what we wanted, but still or sparkling doesn't matter, it was quite tasty. We also ordered a beer and a Sprite. Both came in bottles, but only the beer came with a glass. The Sprite came without a glass. No problem though; we just took one from the next table. That worked too. After a short wait, our appetizer arrived and it was really good. Thirty minutes later, we had finished our drinks, but the pizza still hadn't arrived. No problem—we'll just order another beer. The beer arrived promptly. Just as I was about to hand the waitress my empty beer Glass and bottle, she turned around and walked away. I wanted to ask her if she wanted to take the empty bottle with her, but she was gone so quickly that I couldn't even finish the question. No problem, we'll just keep it here for now. An attentive waiter will take it away sooner or later...or so we thought, but the empty beer bottle and the old glass remained on our table as decoration until the end. At least we got a new beer. Twenty minutes later, our original waiter returned and asked if we had ordered pizza, to which we responded affirmatively. He then remembered which pizza we had ordered, but he couldn't remember if we had received it. When we told him we were still waiting for it, he realized something and sprinted into the kitchen. Fortunately, we were able to pass the time while waiting for the forgotten pizza by observing the table next to us. It consisted of three men who ordered wheat beer but received 0.2-liter juice glasses with their three bottles of Hefeweizen. We were highly amused by how these three gentlemen explored the three phases of wheat beer because it's difficult to fit the entire contents of a 0.5-liter bottle into a juice glass. The first glass contained only thin beer without yeast, the second was probably closest to real wheat beer, and the third contained pure yeast. As Germans, we had never experienced a restaurant offering a bottle of hefeweizen with a 0.2-liter juice glass before. It must be how Italians feel when they see pineapple on pizza in Germany. Our pizza arrived 1.5 hours after we had sat down. It was really good, as was the view. After we finished eating, I visited the restroom, which had two stalls. One of the stalls was so broken that I was worried I wouldn't be able to get out after locking the door. Since we had already been there for almost two hours, I opted for the toilet that was still somewhat functional. It was probably the right choice. The payment process at the end went quickly, and we went home amused and satisfied. Conclusion: If you're looking for delicious pizza and a great view, you'll find both here. However, take the service with a grain of salt. These are definitely not professionals. If you can laugh about it and have some time to spare, you'll have fun here. Everyone else should just order in.

24/08/2025: Beautiful campsite with plenty of shade and greenery! Very friendly people. Always a spot by the pool. We had a great time!

22/08/2025: We stayed at Camping la Chiocciola in May 2025, and it was amazing! The amenities were already open, including the pools, the friendly staff, the facilities and bathrooms were always clean and operational, and the pitches were super shaded and spacious. We also went on a trek recommended by the campsite staff; it was beautiful and surrounded by nature! The value for money was excellent, we'll definitely be back!

02/08/2025: Nelli is much more than just a tobacconist: it's a go-to place, especially for those looking for a reliable, welcoming place that's always open when everything else is closed. I've been there several times, but the experience that deserves a special mention is the late-night breakfast, a real treat for those who experience the city outside of normal hours.

30/07/2025: A popular meeting place for many Lucca residents before heading out of town or for breakfast on their way home. The staff are friendly and the place is clean, with a lovely veranda inside. It's also a great place for a quiet drink, as the noise level is low.

19/01/2025: Had a very good cappucino and a good filled croissant (chocolate/pistaccio) here two days in a row, very cheaply and was served in a friendly and professional manner in English. Price-performance ratio is very good. Sure, it's at the bus station, but if you're looking for an exclusive ambience you'll have to delve deeper into the city and then accept higher prices.

10/07/2025: We chose this place for a very informal wedding reception, as was the venue itself. We paid for the food separately. Since there were no other venues nearby, drinks were obligatory at the bar for all guests, no exceptions. I think €5 per drink is excessive, especially considering the quality, just as I think €25 for a bottle of prosecco is excessive in that context.

29/08/2025: They were very kind in finding us a spot even though we'd called late to make a reservation. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly and given adequate service. The pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, was delicious. The price was also in line with the location.
