21/08/2025: We had the tasting menu and it was truly exceptional. The service was excellent, fast, and the waiters were friendly. Even in the bad weather, they were able to handle the situation well.

16/08/2025: The service was perfect, but if you book with a photo for more than 4 people, you won't be able to use the app, but the discount will still be forfeited. Delicious mussels with a flavorful stew, linguine very al dente with excellent shrimp. It's a shame the dessert didn't live up to the other courses. Very polite and friendly waiters.

11/08/2025: Recommended by a local, the staff are smiling and friendly. Typical local products cooked according to tradition. The appetizer was generous, with a few flaws, but the ossobuco was truly excellent. The house wine was good, the service a little slow, but worth it. We highly recommend it; it was a pleasant evening.

31/07/2025: Not a bad place for a small town in Tuscany. The restaurant is spacious and quite large - we were there at lunchtime. The place specializes in steaks: I ordered a fillet (usually I ask for medium rare), but this time the meat was slightly underdone. The salads on the menu are quite simple - mostly with arugula. But the penne with ricotta and spinach was a pleasant surprise, a very large portion. There are tables inside the restaurant and also in the courtyard in the garden (the back part of the courtyard) Overall, the food is fresh, tasty and not overly pretentious. The staff is friendly and polite.

18/08/2025: It was probably an unlucky evening, but I have my doubts. An interminable wait to order and be served despite the restaurant not being packed. Liver crostini served on cold bread, not even toasted. Everything else was average. A tourist restaurant that describes itself as traditional.

22/06/2025: We had dinner in this restaurant which is located along the Vecchia Aurelia road, so easily visible when driving by. We sat in what can be considered a veranda which I found very welcoming. We ordered delicious fish dishes and they offered us a nice, fresh, sparkling white aperitif, much appreciated given the evening temperatures. They have a nice menu, very varied, the service is excellent and the dishes served are very delicious. Recommended!

19/08/2025: Last night we went to this wonderful restaurant for dinner. We traveled from Rome after reading the reviews, and on Sunday evening, just looking at it from the outside convinced us! On Monday evening, in a unique setting, Chef Romano and his team welcomed us, pampering us from start to finish! Two delicious appetizers (a creamy pecorino and truffle tart, but I'm too shy to call it that), a delicate beef carpaccio, and the FIORENTINA! The real thing! The one you eat and don't say "enough!", the one cooked to perfection, thick and tender. All washed down with Montepulciano! We thank the team for making our evening so enjoyable, the entire kitchen, and Chef Romano! We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The pasta was outstanding. We even had the house's own olive oil for sale. The service was very attentive and spoke English. Simply fantastic. Because we rented a small house in the complex, we received an additional 10% discount – a great bonus. There's also live music on Fridays – and you can relax in hammocks among the olive trees in the garden. A great location not far from the center of Forte. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

29/08/2025: A restaurant with an absolutely exceptional location overlooking Castiglione. The service is courteous but inattentive to even the simplest requests. Quality dishes respecting tradition. Pizza cooked in an electric oven is disappointing due to the type of dough used: dry and hard to cut.

04/09/2025: We booked a little skeptical, but we were disappointed... Exquisite food: delicious appetizer and dessert, and the seafood risotto is the best I've ever eaten! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, providing excellent service in a truly enchanting location. I highly recommend it!

04/09/2025: Beautiful location and friendly staff. We're not impressed with the food: the appetizer tasting includes 5 hot and 5 cold items, but in reality, everything arrives cold, nothing exceptional. The tagliolino allo scoglio was actually a first course with mussels and a few pieces of rubber squid, 1 clam, and not even a single crustacean...no flavor. Failed.

19/07/2025: I'm giving one star for the unfortunate inconvenience that occurred. I'll start by saying that I've been to this place before and had even recommended it to many friends and family, and we were thinking of returning as a group in a few days, but I won't. I was undecided whether to order the usual fillet, a grilled steak, or the picanha, which I'd never tried. So I asked the waiter about the cut of meat, which I'm unfamiliar with and have never eaten. I specifically asked if this cut of meat was tender; I actually asked several times to avoid any surprises, and the waiter assured me it was, and that if (it can happen, he said) the meat was ribbed and tough, I could just call him and he'd replace it for me without any problem. These are his words. So I ordered the picanha, which I must say arrived in a few minutes, so the service was very quick, but, alas, it was tough and barely chewable, even though I tried to avoid having my order changed, even though he'd assured me there wouldn't be any problems. So, after a few failed chewing attempts, I was forced to put the pieces I'd tried to chew back into my napkin. I called the waiter (much to my chagrin) and asked for a change. He told me it was no problem and that he'd have me reordered. To avoid the possibility of the next piece being equally tough, I changed my order completely and asked for a fillet. It was excellent, tender, and I ate it with pleasure. The returned picanha, however, was three-quarters left on the plate and one-quarter in the napkin, which, obviously, I didn't feel comfortable showing to the waiters or the owner (?) at the cash register, as I figured that since I DIDN'T EAT IT and the problem wasn't my fault, I obviously wouldn't pay for it. At first, I didn't even realize they'd included it in the bill, trusting what's commercially correct: that is, in general, defective goods should be replaced; it's the customer's right. They charged me €12 out of €22 for a piece of tough meat that I couldn't swallow and that mostly remained in the napkin and the rest on my plate, claiming that a certain amount was missing from the plate. Well, that won't happen next time, because I won't be back, but if I'd known, I would have shown the napkin!!! Even though I didn't think it was tasteless, and in fact, I didn't. I'm sorry, but the customer has no interest in not eating the dish they deliberately ordered; if the dish isn't good, it should be replaced without further additions. It's not a whim. And above all, the waiter told me there was no problem and that it could be tough, but it's usually soft. I repeat, I asked specifically to avoid any inconvenience. They may have earned an extra €12, which I practically gave them away, since it wasn't actually a payment for the goods sold. But they definitely lost a lot more, as the average price there is around €40-€50 per person, and I was planning to return soon as a group. Plus, I won't recommend it to anyone again, as I had done. Word of mouth is great advertising, and a satisfied customer is the best advertising for a venue.

09/06/2025: Excellent, you have to try the Steak alla Florentina (Bistecca alla Florentina), it's worth it! It's best to make a reservation; the service is very good, as is the food.

15/03/2025: Nice food. We had steak, pizza was superb, so delicious, tiramisu is the best, i dont eat tiramisu but i can finish the whole dessert :)
