22/08/2024: There were 4 of us who went on a Tuesday evening, arriving a little late due to the parking being unobtainable...welcomed I think by the owner who made us sit immediately, a nice person and absolute owner of the room, we had appetizers and first courses served with the right amount of anticipation and certainly everything freshly prepared! Let's say that the environment is very particular because it is in a small alley, but in the end it is a highly recommended place... strong flavours, excellent gnocchi filled with standard ricotta.

20/08/2024: Very quiet restaurant located in a street parallel to the main one. We ate fabulous fish dishes: spaghetti with seafood, fried calamari, tuna, octopus and caponata which were truly exquisite. Absolutely recommended, you will be more than satisfied! Reservations are essential, the place is not large and places are therefore limited. Well done, a wonderful dinner!

20/07/2024: Shared some small plates for starters then a chicken curry and pulled pork for mains. Service was good and friendly, especially when the other half asked for grappa. The mezcal was very good too. Nice vibe & popular with the locals

31/07/2024: Delightful place, every time I have the chance to go there it's a fixed stop, very kind owner and always a nice environment Variety of seating, either outside or with sofas or privately on the small balcony. And delicious sandwiches with carefully chosen ingredients. I recommend to everyone ❤️

24/08/2024: We are regular guests. We have returned 4 times and always find the same pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are always clean, very nice and the comforts are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, the portions are generous and the quality of the raw materials is always excellent. The staff, all included, kind, thoughtful, available for any need. Strategic position for the most famous beaches easily reachable by car. Recommended even just for an evening, we suggest arriving before sunset to admire the view from the terrace. Il genero e seby sono sempre attentissimi all esigenza del cliente.la location è curata nei minimi particolari e che dire continueremo a ritornare sempre perché è tutto perfetto!grazie

18/08/2024: The first impact was more than positive, it's a shame that the evening was ruined by an unserious and unprofessional gesture. The tuna is definitely worth reviewing (overcooked and the onion covers the flavour) and the seafood appetizer rich in fried foods and with few fresh tastings, which after a while becomes heavy.

29/08/2024: Ci siamo stati ieri sera a cena, abbiamo mangiato divinamente, dall’antipasto Tannur al cannolo siciliano, tutto semplicemente buonissimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto. Il locale è al centro storico di Noto ma in una traversa che garantisce intimità e tranquillità. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e accogliente. Corrado ha reso davvero speciale la serata a nostro figlio. Super consigliato.

27/08/2024: Su suggerimento di Lina, la fantastica manager del nostro b&b, decidiamo di cenare da Tannur, mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Iniziamo con l’antipasto Tannur, che ci ha fatto compiere un viaggio alla scoperta di tutta la Sicilia, sia di mare che di terra (consigliato per 2 persone). Come piatto principale optiamo per il pescato del giorno, un ottimo dentice fresco e cotto a regola d’arte che ci viene pure gentilmente deliscato. Il tutto accompagnato da una saporitissima caponata, che profumava di “casa”. Personale super cortese. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Consigliato! Non si può visitare Noto senza fare una sosta da Tannur!

12/07/2024: historic bar in Syracuse with very kind staff, delicious food and located in a perfect place in the center of Ortigia. the food is artisanal so there is no risk of eating something frozen or of low quality. great experience!

10/07/2024: I returned with my husband after fifteen years at the Artale bar. In 2009 the parents of the Artale family were still working, today the management has passed to their children, but the welcoming and kind atmosphere is the same as always. We ate the arancine alla norma, the Sicilian filled with anchovies and cheese and a good almond and pistachio granita. The value for money was excellent and the service was excellent. The parents have been able to pass on the values ​​of the Sicilian tradition to their children and it is nice to return after so many years and rediscover that family atmosphere of the past, I would like to say that at the time I forgot my bag at the club with my wallet, camera and documents and in the cathedral square of Syracuse I found Mr. Artale coming towards me to give it back to me. Only at that moment did I realize that I had left everything at the bar without realizing it. I was deeply moved by that gesture, so much so that today, 15 years later, I looked for that place and wanted to invite my husband to return to the Artale bar and taste all the delicacies they offer.
