03/01/2025: We had New Year's Eve dinner at this place. Well everything went well, excellent service, good dishes in adequate proportions, but a big disappointment, even if I confirm the 5 stars. I have to say, the bulk white wine served was really really bad. In addition to being of very poor quality as mentioned, it was in glass jugs and after half an hour, obviously having warmed up it was even worse than fresh, already bad as mentioned. Even the sparkling wine for the Brindisi was of very low quality. Too bad it didn't take much to get an even better result.

Buy and eat this with a Caseificio Borderi sandwich next to the Koreans💜And if you take turns buying gelato from Levante Gelato Artigianale, the course is perfect👍

22/03/2025: The dog, the owner, and the place are all wonderful. Stop by for a glass of Prosecco if you’re passing through, and give Hendrix a little head scratch. He’s just a one-year-old St. Bernard pup—super sweet and absolutely adorable.

10/03/2025: My wife and I stayed in Ortigia for a month and every day we went to Viola Bakery, both to have breakfast and to have a simple coffee. The environment is very welcoming, you can eat quickly or stay for a long time reading the newspapers available on site. The wi-fi connection is excellent, so many visitors take advantage of it to work and/or study on the PC. Sometimes it feels more like a library than a bar! We have never tasted anything savory but coffee, juices, croissants and desserts in general are excellent. A compliment also to Daniela, the owner, always very helpful and kind. Highly recommended!
