We were 12 in total the travel agent made the booking but when we arrived they didn’t expect us to. Likely the agents fault. Luckily it wasn’t a busy day and they were happy to accommodate us . We tried almost all of the appetizers and all the pasta dishes.The service was excellent, with prompt food delivery and clearly of used plates. We all enjoyed all the various dishes, well made with fresh ingredients and local foods.

Delicious seafood dishes and wines. Very unique and Sicilian with yummy sweet and sour sauces that I had not tasted anywhere previously. Great service. A wonderful experience all around.

In Ortigia, now overrun by tourists but (and why) still beautiful with its sweeping views of the sea beyond the narrow streets, a trattoria where the kindness of the staff immediately makes you feel at home in a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The dishes showcase every typical component of Sicilian cuisine (even at the cost of a few forced pairings: eggplant caponata with breadcrumbs) and are overall well-crafted. Prices are in line with the times.

The owner lady is usually there and she’s wonderful! Try the Tuna in pistachio or the Grigliata Mista, both are poetically good in my experience. Excellent traditional Sicilian desserts!

The staff are very friendly and the place is also ideal for families. The paper tablecloths are ideal, so kids can draw with markers to pass the time.
