11/02/2025: Professional host, great location and excellent wines.

09/02/2025: We stumbled upon this place by accident and although it was closing in an hour, Pepe made sure to make it the best hour ever! He told us the story of each wine we ordered and brought us tapas after tapas only based on what we said we ate. We never saw a menu and it was perfect! Pepe really went above and beyond and made that evening the best we had in Italy. Thank you, Pepe! :)

20/03/2025: One of the worst pastry shops I've ever come across. I've been there more than once and the quality of the food is terrible, especially the desserts, never made on the same day and shoveled out who knows how many days ago, just to avoid spending money on making fresh desserts. When I reported it to the counter, they just said "I'll report it" with total indifference since we literally threw away all the desserts we had bought, and I wasn't even offered a coffee or an apology. Not to mention the level of clientele they have. After all, I did some research and they have a terrible reputation as a bar in the village.

06/03/2025: really poor food I ate a lasagna and digested it very badly I ate hungry but it was disgusting we all complained, I will never go there again I won't set foot the staff can also be kind but the food is inedible.

29/03/2025: I am going through a rough time in my life. Lost my father lost my job for, federal cuts. Lost one if my bunnies and also got in a car wreck my fault. I came into this restaurant they where so kind. It just made things seem better. The food is delicious and they went out if their way to make sure I had what I needed.

28/10/2024: The pantanelli di vendicari is a beautiful rustic sicilian venue nestled in a nature reserve, vineyard, almond plantation in Noto. The journey is around an hour from Catania Airport and taxi costs around 100 euros for 2 travellers. The reserve is around 15 mins from the centre and costs around 50 euros. The owner luciana is a beautiful soul who has worked with me along the way for a year helping to co ordinate and plan my indian wedding (the first of their kind), we did this without a wedding planner. Communication was easy, I actually booked the venue blind without visiting after a video call with Luciana, she was always there at the other end of WhatsApp if I had any questions and she put me in touch with taxi drivers, decorators and photographers. Lucianna even stepped in and acted as a translator during my consultations with the vendors. The PDV has rooms too so you can have hire of the whole venue and rooms so you do not need to worry about other guests crashing your event. The rooms were airy spacious, had tvs, fridge, ensuites, toiletries and towels, the rooms again a basic and rustic but very comfortable and very clean. The venue has in house catering which was perfect the food was in abdusance, we travelled to sicily earlier in the year for a tasting and on the wedding day the food was even better. Please try the aranchini - luciana even went the extra step to ensure that the aranchini was pork rather than beef as Hindus shouldn't eat beef. This was her idea and really showed the level of detail she was putting in and providing. The pdv has a swimming pool, fairly small and not deep but perfect to laze around, and a on site gazebo (around 12x8 ft) this comfortablely held 90 people but could hold even more. The gazebo is already decked out with fairy lights for that stary night effect. We ate dinner in the court yard again under lights which is great, as lighting can be costly in sicily. There is a roof terrace which looks over the ocean and where we held our ceremony, this again comfortably held 90 people, the views were breathtaking. Luicana made everyone feel right at home, including getting milk for babies and medicines for Mosquito Bites. The bites were hard-core so generally be prepared. Again she went that extra mile every day. On the wedding events she was coordinating the dinners, the timings and even came to the rescue to fix my cake topper. She was so brilliant to work with. She also saved me nearly 2k by reassuring me I didn't need to buy an additional gazebo because of rain. Anyone else could easily of tried to make money out of me but lucianna Is not that type of lady. Our guests were paying for their own rooms and luciana even was able to take payment directly for the guests which was easy and not complicated. I cannot thank lucianna and her team enough for making our day so special and I would love to revist. Also luciana has a doggy named romeo who is very friendly! Thank you so much - Pooja and Jamie

04/03/2025: Family restaurant with traditional Sicilian cuisine. Good value for money, and good fish dishes. The Cannolo di Ricota for dessert is absolutely delicious.

03/01/2025: There were 4 of us who went on a Tuesday evening, arriving a little late due to the parking being unobtainable...welcomed I think by the owner who made us sit immediately, a nice person and absolute owner of the room, we had appetizers and first courses served with the right amount of anticipation and certainly everything freshly prepared! Let's say that the environment is very particular because it is in a small alley, but in the end it is a highly recommended place... strong flavours, excellent gnocchi filled with standard ricotta.

Ha pochi tavoli tutti all’aperto quindi consiglio di prenotare ed è aperto solo in estate fino ad autunno inoltrato. Tornando al pranzo tutto ottimo, abbiamo preso due primi io e mio marito da leccarsi i baffi. Se torno a Noto vado a pranzare o cenare dalla signora Ada, perfetta padrona di casa

19/02/2025: A truly SPECTACULAR lunch! We had already been here a few years ago and this time too they did not disappoint our expectations. Highly refined dishes, wonderful presentation, generous portions and truly exquisite flavours. The ingredients are of the highest quality and there is plenty of choice on the menu because all the dishes are truly special and inviting. We had lunch outside, even though it was December (the magic of Sicily!). The owners and waiters are warm, attentive and super professional people. It was a truly wonderful experience that we will certainly repeat again and again!

19/02/2025: Un pranzo davvero SPETTACOLARE! Eravamo già stati qui, un po’ di anni fa e anche stavolta non hanno deluso le nostre aspettative. Piatti ricercatissimi, presentazione meravigliosa, porzioni generose e sapori davvero squisiti. Gli ingredienti sono di primissima qualità e c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta sul menù perché tutti i piatti sono davvero particolari ed invitanti. Abbiamo pranzato all’esterno, nonostante fossimo a dicembre (le magie della Sicilia!). I proprietari e i camerieri sono persone calorose, attente e super professionali. È stata un’esperienza davvero splendida che di certo ripeteremo più e più volte!

05/01/2025: Happened by chance on an August evening, beautiful location, terrible food, we ordered an appetizer while waiting for the pizzas and apart from the bread, if I had known that I would have gladly avoided it, the pizzas were indescribable, if I'm fooled the rest is all in fact, I saw mine served with diced bacon from a discount store - indescribable - oh I forgot, in addition to the diced bacon, the mozzarella was prepared and not fiordilatte; nice location but nothing exceptional

04/01/2025: Very nice, clean, high profile place, with linear and very chic neoclassical decor. Well managed, with courtesy and elegance. The food was delicious even though I prefer gluten-free pizza, delicious. Average prices, worth a try

27/02/2025: We purchased two arancini with meat sauce and two cannoli: everything was excellent. The only flaw: the gentleman who served us had a brusque and not very customer-oriented behavior (first ignoring us and then pretending not to understand us). The cashier, however very kind, tried to play down her colleague's behavior. We will return hoping that the staff at the counter respects older people more.
