17/11/2025: We only stayed at the hotel for one day, but we really enjoyed our time there: very nice and spacious room, very friendly staff, a beautiful pool area, and delicious food and drinks. The breakfast was excellent. We would come back anytime.

11/11/2025: Overnight stay between October 13, 2025 and October 14, 2025 About twenty minutes from the center of Syracuse (Syracuse traffic permitting), the farmhouse, a renovated former farmhouse, has private parking, a swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant. It offers several rooms, some with a garden. Our room, located on the first floor, was decorated in soothing colors and was clean and a decent size. The bathroom was tiled with beautiful local majolica tiles. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was remarkable, both in quantity and quality, with traditional products; homemade jams and biscuits are available for purchase. The staff was courteous and efficient. The price was reasonable for the quality of the stay and the services offered. Rating: 9

30/11/2025: Delicious food and such a nice place to spend a beautiful sunny day , they have seats in the garden where after the lunch you can seat and Chillout, get some drinks. direct access to the beach. Totally recommend

18/09/2025: I was supposed to go to a restaurant but something tempted us to stop here and that's it, super nice people, smiling and the food is amazing, I ate horse meat in a pita with cheese and toppings, the portion is like for an army, you get a delicious piece of meat, so much that you won't be able to finish it and on top of that it's mega good, I recommend it without hesitation :)

01/12/2025: Tucked in a corner away from touristy streets this is an excellent spot to relax, enjoy food and drinks. Very friendly service and great atmosphere. We stopped by at this bar for wine on the last night in Sicily and had a great time. Great selection of wine along with playful music. Server also took requests to play music of our choice. Highly recommend this place for a good time in Ortigia.

07/12/2025: PortoMatto in Avola was a delightful discovery. I ordered a first course, a truly delicious risotto: well-creamed, flavorful, but never heavy. The restaurant is elegant, with attention to detail, and the background music is not too loud and very pleasant, allowing for a peaceful conversation. Special praise goes to the table service: professional, attentive, but never intrusive. I'd especially like to highlight the kindness and empathy of the waiter, Giovanni, who really worked hard to find a solution for my wife's particularly restricted diet, trying to accommodate her in every way possible. In the end, she didn't order anything, but his face showed genuine disappointment, a sign of genuine care for the customer. Overall, a very positive experience: highly recommended.

13/02/2026: Good, nice, and cheap. The beef was tender and flavorful, grilled to perfection. The side vegetables and fries were delicious. The pasta alla Norma and the gnocchi with béchamel sauce and sausages were perfectly cooked. The waitresses were very friendly. The price was more than reasonable. We'll be back.
