11/05/2025: Hands down the best meal we had in Sicily - simple as that. Good value, beautifully fresh seafood, well cooked and presented with finesse. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We're British and tend to eat earlier than most locals; it's not a problem here, it opened at 6.30pm for dinner. I loved everything about Kantunera - the regular menu, the Specials, gorgeous local wine and the whole ambience were just perfect. No photos, because food is for eating, not Instagram. Thank you - it was a real pleasure to dine here. 10/10

08/05/2025: Nice seafood restaurant with local selections. Menu is not large but all the dishes seem good. We had the spaghetti with sea urchin, cigales, and chicken with ham and cheese. All were good. Very friendly service.

02/05/2025: A small hidden garden, off the main street which is worth 5 stars on everything. Tasty and tasty seafood dishes. I personally had a sea bass with seafood, my friends a first course which was equally tasty. They also make pizzas which we tried and not bad. Highly recommended

03/05/2025: Accogliente e gettonatissimo locale in posizione un po’ decentrata: se non lo conosci difficilmente ci passi davanti, specie se sei un turista in giro per la città. Ma vale la pena segnarselo e passarci perché qui trovi un’ampia gamma di ottimi gelati con gusti anche non scontati e tipici della zona e siciliani. Servizio molto gentile.

Here you eat divinely: homemade starter, first course of ravioli with simple basil sauce, mixed grilled meat with sliced ​​rocket and parmesan, homemade dessert and coffee. There were three of us having lunch, but I really think I'll go back in the company of friends. The right choice for delicious and quick lunches in a welcoming and bright environment. 01/10/2024: Ristorante piccolino posizionato nella parte più esterna di Ortigia, dietro il mercato. Abbiamo prenotato tramite The Fork con uno sconto strabiliante e tutto è andato benissimo. Innanzi tutto il servizio: due ragazze di cui una, la responsabile, professionale ed attenta, l'altra molto giovane a cui si perdona un po' di ansia nel gestire il tavolo :-) Le pietanze ottime. Soprattutto il tonno, per qualità e tecnica di cottura: eccezionale. Sull'arancino un appunto: era ancora freddo all'interno. Conto perfetto CONSIGLIATISSIMO

22/05/2025: Trattoria with fish-based dishes, all very good and fresh. The owner is an exquisite person, super welcoming and professional. The place is very clean and cared for in every detail. We had various appetizers based on fish and shellfish, abundant and one better than the other. The norma di mare with swordfish is highly recommended. I will definitely return.
