FROM ANOTHER TIME My wife and I have been returning to No' PUPPITTARU for several years now... and each time the experience pleasantly transports us back in time, as if a time machine transported us outside the now globalized tourism industry that passes off as "typical" what is merely the commercial exploitation of the desire to rediscover tradition and, above all, human relationships.

01/07/2026: We had two excellent pasta dishes at this little restaurant in the beautiful Piazza del Popolo! Kudos to the smiling staff... a great end to the day for us!

29/06/2026: An experience not to be repeated! In a stunning location, with great potential, and on a holiday, we had a terrible experience! After sitting down at 9:20 PM and waiting until 9:55 PM to order, at 10:30 PM we discovered that our order (for two appetizer platters and a portion of fries) had been lost. Meanwhile, the only thing brought to our table was the bread and drinks. After some discussion among the staff, our order was rewritten, and finally, after another 15 minutes, our order arrived. Very good, but unfortunately, the previous negative experience prevented me from fully enjoying the dinner. When it came time for the bill, we discovered, along with the staff, that our second order had also been lost, and of course, it was rewritten. When I joked, "Of course we'll add a little discount to this" (which I think was necessary, given the negative experience), the staff replied, "Sir, no one gives me a discount." So, no discount, which should have been a thoughtful gesture given the excessively long wait times and the staff's poor organization: a nice way to say to the customer, "I apologize for what happened." In the end, we couldn't even split the bill with my friend because I had to communicate this before the receipt was printed. I'm very disappointed by this evening, as I noticed and suggested dinner at this restaurant. Furthermore, as a supporter of the South, I find it disheartening that in such a beautiful place, I and other tourists like me can have such an experience. I truly hope that we can be more considerate of these little things; it's certainly the little things that make the difference.

23/11/2025: We had a family gathering for lunch, and a local relative decided to choose this restaurant. Very good, with generous portions. The ricotta is homemade, so you can taste it's truly artisanal. Highly recommended.
