Very good. I spent 25 euros trying everything... it was the best traditional dinner with delicious sweets and savoury delicacies I had during my stay in Syracuse... and above all honest and not touristy.

After a week in Sicily and becoming a granita "expert" 😊 I can say that the best one I tried was at Midolo. Completely homemade. It's a small place with no tables (just a couple of counters) and a good selection of quality sweet and savory pastries. The staff were very friendly both times we were there. If you're in Syracuse, don't hesitate to stop by for a coffee or a granita.

08/07/2026: The best place in Palazzolo Acreide! Me and my kids are visiting this place very often. We are totally in love with their fresh croissants, ice creams and their pastry! There are various table games for kids and teenagers plus many books for adults, so we are always having nice time there with a family. If you are playing piano or a guitar, you are always welcome to make a small performance in Corsino😉 and let’s not forget their dolce, which are the best in town! If you are visiting Palazzolo Acreide, this place is a must!
