Excellent pizzeria. Pizzas are €8 to €10 and they're delicious, I'd even say exceptional. The icing on the cake is the incredible wine; the glass is inexpensive, and the amount served when you order a glass is probably close to double what you'd get in France. It's served at the perfect temperature, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they even offered me a complimentary digestif (limoncello). Absolutely perfect, I recommend it 100%.

Excellent pizza — honestly the best I had during my 3–4 days in Sicily. The prices were very good, the service was friendly, and the overall experience was great. The waitress also spoke English well, which made everything easy and comfortable. I was completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this place.

You can taste the quality of the ingredients from the first bite: an intense yet balanced flavor, with a soft texture inside and a slightly crunchy outside. Truly excellent for those who love rustic, authentic pizzas, different from the usual commercial offerings. Furthermore, the staff was very courteous and attentive, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. An experience definitely worth trying.

I had dinner at this little restaurant with a retro feel, simple but very welcoming. Everything was poetic, I'd say. I ordered a spritz, and I can assure you it was the best I've ever had. And then the Pizzolo, what can I say? An explosion of flavors. Both the dough and the filling were expertly crafted. I highly recommend it. Hugs to Valentina and Marcello ❤️

We were there last night and had the best pizza in Augusta. It's a shame it's a pizzeria that doesn't have many tables inside. It's very easy to digest, and I haven't had such a delicious pizza in a long time.

15/06/2026: My husband and I had dinner at La Foglia 1984 this evening, and everything about the experience was exceptional. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. Every dish was delicious and showcased the wonderful flavors of Sicily. The service was equally impressive: attentive, warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming from beginning to end. The restaurant itself is charming, inviting, and full of character, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we lingered longer than we intended. When it was finally time to close, our server gently and graciously let us know in such a classy and elegant way that we couldn’t help but smile. It perfectly reflected the hospitality and professionalism of the entire team. If you are visiting Syracuse and only have one evening to enjoy a special meal, make it here. There are many restaurants to choose from, but La Foglia 1984 delivers the complete experience: exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a warm, authentic Sicilian atmosphere. It was one of the highlights of our time in Sicily and a place we will remember long after our trip is over. Thank you for a wonderful evening. The food, the service, the ambiance, and the hospitality were all flawless. We highly recommend La Foglia 1984 and look forward to returning whenever we are back in Syracuse.

08/10/2025: I stopped by because it was near my accommodation, and it was a busy place with a constant stream of locals. A brioche (delicious!), a croissant filled with apricot jam(?), a croissant filled with light green chocolate (I didn't know what it was, but I just picked it up because it was so sweet, I ended up digging it all up), and a cappuccino for €6.50. I was very satisfied.
07/10/2025: Typical Italian bar with many locals, a few covered tables on the sidewalk, friendly service, excellent cappuccino, and crispy cornetto.
