04/09/2025: Unbelievable – a vegan Carbonara! You don’t miss the bacon, the cream, or the eggs. We had a wonderful evening at MOON, and I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to break away from the daily routine of pizza and pasta: go to MOON in Syracuse.

08/07/2025: Terrible! Bad service! Greasy food. We arrived around 6 p.m., and the sun was still blazing. As you know, summer in Sicily is blistering, and the temperature was still 35°C. The Osciale kiosk was open, there were no customers at the time, and the umbrellas were closed. I put my bag on the chair and politely asked for the umbrella to be opened. The sun was blazing (there were seven of us, two children and a 72-year-old man), and the attendant simply said, "I'm not opening the umbrella; the wind won't allow it." She turned her face and left! I looked at the other attendants, waiting for a reaction, and they made the same expression, like, "If you want to eat here, stay in the sun." I grabbed my things and we left. A lady came out of the kiosk and followed us, asking if we'd be okay with sitting behind the kiosk, where there was natural shade, but everyone had to find their own chair and tables. They didn't help at all! I found the service disappointing. It felt like I was asking, "Please, can I eat here? Do I deserve to eat here?" LOL In the end, we ordered burgers, fries, and a horse meat panini. The price is low, but the quality isn't great, and the fries were covered in oil. I don't recommend it!

23/08/2025: We had the special which consisted of 7 course degustation seafood appetisers followed by a pasta dish each for €35 each. Everything was delicious, fresh and tasty. No ashtrays on outside tables to discourage smoking impressed us too. A wonderful experience.

The pizzas are a surprise: original, tasty, with unique combinations that showcase local ingredients, and a light, easily digestible dough. Special praise goes to the kindness and professionalism of the staff: impeccable hospitality, genuine smiles, and great customer service. An experience worth repeating and highly recommended! 👌🍕🇮🇹

21/08/2025: Overall, the pizza was good, but the crust was half the size and lacked toppings. The dough was good, but a little undercooked and chewy.

22/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on Friday evening. We arrived at 8:45 PM and our orders were taken at 9:15 PM. We ordered four grilled dishes, a seafood appetizer, a clam platter, a swordfish platter, and a Sicilian-style swordfish platter. Everything arrived at 10:45 PM...all very sparse and of poor quality.

06/09/2025: For starters, we had the cheese selection, and it was a 20/10...simply phenomenal, as were the drinks!!! We've never eaten such good vegan cheese. For main course, we had Corbonara and the Chapeau pasta. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite to our taste; it was a bit too bland (for us). Nevertheless, we would eat there again. The staff was very friendly, and everything went very quickly! (I personally thought the playlist was great too :) )

26/08/2025: A great place to eat; the photo of my daughter writing "buonissimo" on the bottom of her plate is quite emblematic. Traditional Sicilian dishes are excellently prepared, as are revisited dishes with a Sicilian touch, like the Tiramisu, a dessert you absolutely must try. Highly recommended.
