Ristorante La Trota In Noto

We had dinner this evening at La Trota, and overall, the experience was excellent. Starting with the food, both my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tagliolini and carbonara. We also had the opportunity to try three appetizers (bruschetta with dried and grated trout, trout carpaccio, and hot-smoked trout with mayonnaise). The appetizers were excellent. The gin and juniper-marinated carpaccio is highly recommended. We finished with trout in Saor, which was slightly too salty (personal opinion), but the combination of trout, onion, raisins, and pine nuts really impressed me. The dessert was also good, as was the carob and persimmon combination. The location is charming; you eat in a cave. A special thanks to Corrado for his kindness and exceptional attention to service, and, of course, for the appetizer samples. Unfortunately, we live quite far away, but we'll try to return. Considering the quality of the ingredients and the sophisticated pairings, the price for dinner was very fair.

The trout and meats are excellent. Stay away from the risottos! The plates are chipped, the service is superficial, and the wines on the menu are unavailable. The location is beautiful and unique.

At Ristorante La Trota, I found a welcoming and authentic atmosphere, one where you immediately feel at ease. The fish is presented simply but carefully, with tasty grilled and fried dishes and generous portions: clean flavors, without excess. You can sense attention and a passionate management. A pleasant place, perfect for a quiet dinner featuring the most authentic Sicilian cuisine.

A must-see, only they make pizzas with trout, all excellent.

The location is nice in some areas, but the tastes aren't the same for everyone, some less so, but the food is decent. The main dish is trout, and there's always something for everyone, whether you love it or not. I didn't mind.

A truly unique restaurant. Surrounded by greenery and ponds where they raise trout. Very well-kept spaces. The restaurant is housed in a cave, with a magnificent barbecue grill at its center where you can order your food. Excellent food and well-served. Naturally, many dishes feature trout (excellent). You can also enjoy excellent roast meats or even a special Florentine steak. The staff is friendly and fast. A magnificent and large parking lot adds to the value of the place. I recommend you try it.
