Friendly service. Unfortunately it is not good value for money. Expensive for what it is. Positioning a little too touristy perhaps. The first clue is the caponata which is not at the level of what you can taste a few streets further.

I enjoyed a high quality lunch today, thankfully we sat at a perfect little table outside in the shade. We started with the vegetable platter, which was an exciting array of lightly seasoned cooked vegetables we had just seen at the local market. It is hard to find nice fresh vegetables at restaurants in Sicily, this really served them all up. We also each had a pasta. I had the tagliolini with mussels, my husband had the ravioli with tomato and basil. Both were really fresh tasting, the mussels especially nice.
Service was quick, friendly and courteous. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Great class and great cuisine
We were welcomed with great courtesy by the owner in a unique environment in terms of personality and atmosphere. We ordered tagliatelle with a really tasty vegetable sauce, enhanced by the grated cheese (not parmesan, but Sicilian) and tagliatelle with anchovies and breadcrumbs, typical of Syracuse. We didn't drink wine, because we aren't allowed to. Simple dishes, but made with passion. I was craving fruit and they brought me a delicious plate of mixed fruit with kiwis, blueberries, strawberries and more, which the chef kindly wanted to give us as a gift. When you say "elegant hospitality"... everything has been said... (or almost!)

On an evening that was certainly busy for them (Easter), they welcomed us without a reservation and recommended the best dishes without rushing us. Fresh and simple appetizer and fish dish but with a genuinely Sicilian flavour. Surprise side dishes proposed by the chef perfectly spot on. The typical Sicilian cassatina is highly recommended. A bottle of Maramao and finally a fennel bitters kindly offered by the house. The friendly and friendly staff, original and welcoming environment.

We were here on Saturday evening, we spent the best evening of our holiday in Sicily. The food was excellent, fresh and beautiful to look at and excellent in taste. Friendly and attentive staff. Thanks see you next time.

This restaurant is a real gem! It is furnished with great attention to detail and is therefore something unique. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly. The food really impressed us, so we can only recommend it!

Esperienza nel complesso positiva, anche se colpirci è stata l'atmosfera più che la cucina. L'ambiente è molto scenografato, forse un po' finto, tuttavia risulta gradevole. Personale garbato e professionale, mentre la cucina non ci ha convinti fino in fondo. Un po' troppo turistica in termini di prezzi e di proposte. Vero è che a Ortigia è quasi impossibile trovare qualcosa di autentico, ma per gli stranieri è senza dubbio una location super cool.

questo angolo è un rifigio di un tempo scappato e che se ne sta andando ma tenuto bloccato dall'arte culturale e gastronomica e dalla fantastica coraggiosa pazzia dei Trattori che con tanta maestria lo sanno fermare allo scopo di farlo conoscere a tutti coloro che vogliono mangiare non tanto per ingozzarsi ma per far vivere e vivere bene e volersi bene!
